I was greeted by a nail tech as soon as I walked in…read more Even better, 2 of my associates from work were there getting their nails done, which upped my confidence level. Those girls don't do junk! My appointment was with Henry, I wasn't sure if I just wanted to take off the bad gel nails I got on vacation, or redo them. He checked out my nails and said he could fix them. He did. My cuticles look great, my nails look much more natural. I also noticed that, of customers who signed in with a tech preference, it was always Henry. He asked me if I also wanted a pedicure. It took me about 2 seconds to agree as my feet are so dry from a summer of sandals. A different person did my pedi, but she took her time and did a great job. I've had a better massage, but she took great care in removing the dead skin. The polish looks great. The real test will be in how long the mani/pedi hold up......but did I mention they only charged me $50 for both? I don't know if that was a new customer special, or what it would be separately. Nevertheless, I left pretty happy, and if the nails hold up will be a regular customer. The only downside (-1 *) is the entire staff spoke to each other in their language, which was not English. They did not converse much with the customers, which did not provide of an inclusive feeling. I would have preferred English so that I could understand and perhaps join in a conversation. Henry was the only person who made the effort, and I did appreciate that.

I came in with a friend for pedicures, and both technicians were pretty aggressive, especially when picking around our toes. They seemed to think we had ingrown nails, but it was just skin, and the picking was painful for both of us. Things were also repeatedly too hot, and the technicians weren't very attentive to our comfort. Also at most nail spas, including Glamour Nails at the Promenade, they offer us drinks with our purchase of the deluxe pedicure. I also left with a completely different color than what I requested. I gave the exact shade number and showed a photo with the color circled, yet the result was easily 10+ shades off. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've had this issue here. I don't hate my toes, but they're an odd shape and not at all what I asked for. I only come here for my toes now, and rarely ask for anything different, but this experience left me genuinely unhappy. I prefer and honestly love the Glamour Nails across the street at The Promenade, and unfortunately, I don't feel this location lives up to that reputation.

I've cycled through several of their technicians, and each one has their own strengths and always does a great job. Their French tips are especially beautiful! I don't personally get my fingernails done here since I go to a private stylist, so I can't speak much on their manicures, but their pedicure service is consistently excellent. I love that they offer a drink with the deluxe pedicure, it always makes the experience feel a little more luxurious. They're also usually very efficient, so I'm in and out fairly quickly without feeling rushed. I've had consistently great experiences here and would definitely recommend them for pedicures!

I had made an appointment for both an acrylic fill and a gel pedicure (which I decided against when I had already had to wait an hour). All of the nails are completely different that what I asked for. Thankfully I had a gift card because this was not a service I would ever pay almost $60 dollars for. I recommend finding a better place who respects your time and money.
