All the items from the lunch menu were delicious. The baked goods looked tasty, but after lunch, we couldn't eat another bite. Unfortunately, the waitress chewed gum and left it in a corner of her mouth that made it visible (it was bright lime green) when she took our order. We were confronted with so many great options, we weren't ready when she first came to take our order. She took 30 minutes to come back. It took another 40 minutes to get lunch and another 30 to get our check, while other parties can and ate and left. Happy that we weren't in a hurry! read more

Artisan Kitchen was delicious and had very good service. He had the tempura eggplant sandwich and I had the tenderloin melt. Both came with Waldorf slaw and a side. I had the Tuscan sweet potato sausage soup and he had the Greek pasta salad. We enjoyed both. We had a few minutes wait for a table so we studied the extensive bakery case. They offer a vast array of pastry items and the cakes and cheesecakes are wonderful. Service is usually timely and courteous. Decor is nice enough in the sit down part and the take out section has a wide variety of items to take and bake. I prefer the sweet options here more than the sandwiches and salads. Great staff!!!! My gyro was okay. The take out bakery? Cases of pure delight. My Black Forest bar was a little dry for my taste and I would have preferred more cherry. We,by chance after reading Yelp reviews, went to Artisan Kitchen on the only night they are open., Thursday evening. They were running a special of "breakfast for dinner."I had eggs Benedict, w/ asparagus , and fresh blackberries, blueberries an orange ring w/ hollandaise, it was perfect! Served on home made toasted English muffin, delicious. My husband has a generous egg scramble w/ spiced bacon. & cut up veg.& home made toast points. This bake shop & restaurant are worth a stop. Our dessert was the burbon carrot cake, and it was decadent. The assorted mini cakes. Cookies, and bars. Pies, cupcakes are sure worth stopping by. Your mouth will thank you. read more

We love Artisan Kitchen! The pimento cheese is so good! It's a staple in Paducah. Everyone is friendly!

The food was very disappointing. The salad I had contained Blue cheese & strawberries. It had that bagged salad taste with lots of yellow bitter centers. The bacon was not fresh, it had to be the real bacon bits. And the blue cheeks crumbles were basically non existent! My daughter got the Thai beef sandwich which she thought tasted good, but was so spicy hot she couldn't eat it..but on the way home became nauseated and decided to toss the rest of her sandwich. Wow. Definitely one of the best lunches I've ever had. It was beautiful on the plate and tasted even better than it looked. I actually enjoyed the slaw that came with my delicious turkey salad sandwich, and I almost NEVER eat slaw! My side of wild rice salad was equally yummy. If I could give this place a 6 I would. First the Bakery looks amazing, I didn't try any of the beautiful cakes, cookies or pastries but I will at some point. I had the Stacked pastrami Sandwich (heaps of pastrami,Thousand island dressing and provolone cheese) and a Greek Pasta Salad. Probably the best Pastrami sandwich I've had. It was so messy they brought me extra napkins. I've got to say the staff made us feel like regulars they were so friendly. Can't wait to go back and try more of the awesome menu. read more

If I could give the Artisan Kitchen owners, Karla and David more Stars I would. Today all of the Lunch Buddies help me Celebrate my Birthday in a very unique way. We met at Artisan Kitchen for a cooking class. We had such a good time and really enjoyed ourselves. Karla and David took care of EVERYTHING!!!! All we had to do is show up. We started out with the most delicious appetizer that Karla and Dave prepared for us. Once everyone arrived Karla gave us 3 recipes we would make: tuscan bean stew, chicken lasagna Rosettes and Karla super quick chicken pot dumpling pie. We were put in two groups of 5 each and started on our first recipe: tuscan bean stew. We were able to ask all kinds of questions about cooking /techniques/kitchen equipment. Boy Karla and David have so much patience! We felt like we were on one of the cooking shows-Chopped ! Once we finished all three of our dishes we sat down and sampled all the food!!!! DELICIOUS!!! And if that wasn't enough David brings out a tray of desserts small bites of about 10 different sampling's. With tummies full and great fellowship it was the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!! We were traveling and found this little gem that has a fantastic bakery, great food and outstanding service. The restaurant area had some art from local artists for sale which was cute. For lunch, the three little pigs sandwich was a perfect mix of savory and sweet on really good bread and the Waldorf slaw was pretty good. I also liked that they had a unique beverage option with the mojito iced tea. My boyfriend had a tuna salad croissant and a sausage potato kale soup that was really good. Also the waitress was one of the sweetest people. Prior to leaving, the waitress helped us pick out some pastries. We got a chess pie bar and blood orange and cranberry cookie. They were so good, some of the best pastries I had, we came back the next day to get a box of pastries for a friend, our family we planned to see at our next stop, and some more for us. We will definitely be back when we are in Paducah, especially for their specials and breakfast for dinner. read more
