I ordered a grilled pork sandwich. The bun is good. However, meat portion is small, and more than 90% is fat. Is it supposed to be like this? In this case it would be better if you name it grilled pork fat on the menu. read more

This place had great Vietnamese baguettes. I ordered the tofu marinated one with jalapeños and it was spicy and tasty. I will highly recommend that. Also, this place serves nice chai. This place has good furniture and nice ambience. Overall a great brunch place! read more

I had a very hard time finding a decent breakfast option but thankfully Yelp guided me to Artisan Cafe. I had the sunrise wrap and it was very good. It had a little bit of everything and wasnt greasy which is common with foods like this in other places. I also had the latte which was on point. The customer service was quick and friendly (and thats usually the difference between 4 and 5 star for me). I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area. read more

Not worth coming here to eat even if you are hungry . The sandwitch was pretty gross.

I work near them and have never been impressed. Today I order a BLT...simple enough. I asked to make sure they toasted the bread and was told we always do. Yet, was handed one untoasted. He said he could toast it right now though and slapped it the panini press just enough to wilt the lettuce and leave the bread untoasted. this cafe just opened up where the restaurant alligator pear used to be on vine and 5th, which is right by me. I walked by here and had to check it out. The decor is very cool, and I love the arty cups and mugs. I had a chocolate crepe, which was so so good, and my boyfriend had a yummy hot chocolate. This is an arty local coffee shop that I can tell will be my new hangout. They have been only open for 3 weeks so far, but I can see a long future. The staff is very nice, the atmosphere is chill, and there is free wifi. read more

Artisan cafe is a small coffee and lunch place in Belltown. It is located on a quiet street right below the monorail. It is actually operated (owned too?) by a very friendly vietnamese family and known for it's baguettes (bahn mi). The cafe is fairly small, but since it caters to the to-go lunch crowd from the offices around, there are always a few seats available. They have four tables, and a few bar style seats overlooking the street. There are no fancy decorations, but it is kept very clean, and they have great soft music playing all the time, which gives it a good vibe. The food is delicious. Their sandwiches are great, but their baguettes are specially delicious. And very inexpensive too, compared to the other cafes/sandwich shops around Belltown. I've tried some of their baked items, and they're decent. The location is great, very close to the space needle. There's always some street parking available nearby, but it's not free. Also, they shut pretty early, right after lunch. The staff is really pleasant and friendly, and the food is great and inexpensive. This makes it perfect for a quick and light lunch. It's a must try cafe in the area. read more

This place is so cozy, peaceful, and they have a friendly staff. Better yet their food and coffee is AMAZING! I ordered their Americano with vanilla and Everything Croissant. After I took my first bite I was wondering "is this even real life!?". The Americano was light and smooth and I didn't even have to add anything. Where's the beef? My bahn mi had an embarrassing amount of pork on it. Just a joke. I wouldn't have minded if they had alerted me to this beforehand and upcharged me $2-3 (as many bahn mi places do) for "double meat" but as it came, my sandwich was 80% bread, 15% toppings, and 5% meat. I stepped in for a snacky and ordered the Cafe Toast. I was told they didn't have that that day. I saw an almond croissant in the display and ordered that, then the woman behind the counter told me that the croissant wasn't for sale. What gives? This place is great! Super nice people and really good sandwiches. I always get the Bahn Mi every time (have tried different meats) - just haven't wanted to venture away from that one yet! Everything is made to order and done so in a reasonable amount of time. I really like this place and I know it's going to be a regular spot for me now that I am working in this area of town. It's a pretty small cafe. I've eaten lunch there once, but usually just take it back to my office. So good! Quick service and the breakfast sandwiches were delicious and very inexpensive. We had sunrise wrap, everything croissant and plain jane and all were awesome. Two minute walk from the Space Needle/monorail station. Tables inside to eat at and lots of teas and coffees to choose from. The people working were super friendly and helpful. Came exclusively for bahn mi sandwiches but left disappointed. I agree with previous reviewers that they use great fresh toasted bread, but the filling-to-bread ratio is a little off and I threw out a lot of excess bread bits. The overall flavor was okay, but a little dry. Iced chai seemed like it was just off-the-shelf Oregon chai flavor. Darn it! I had to lower my original rating because of inconsistency. This is something that seems to be rampant in Seattle. I dragged my husband here on a Saturday because of the delicious salad I had the first time. There was an older lady cooking this time and the artisan salad was gross! The bacon was burnt and they used sliced turkey meat instead of the carving board style. My husband said his meatball banh mi was NOTHING to write home about. Stick with one recipe AC! We stopped by during a rainy morning on our way to the folk life festival. We ordered a latte, bagel with lox and a chicken bunh mi. The food was fantastic - the bagel and sandwich bread were soft on the inside after being toasted. The salmon was generous and fresh tasting. The chicken was tender and the veggie were fresh and crisp. For the quality of food we got and the price we paid, it felt like a steal. Similar items to the cafe down the street were twice the amount we paid and I'd imagine they wouldn't be as good. Definitely going back next time I'm in the area! read more

Love this little place! A delightful cafe in which to spend a couple of hours working or grab a quick bite to eat. The staff is friendly, the coffee is good (cafe Umbria) and the feeling is cozy and quaint. The Bahn Mis were OFF THE HOOK. Seriously I am still thinking about them months later. It is a great place to hit up after the EMP due to the close location. A good, solid sandwich shop. There's nothing particularly outstanding about place or the food. It's comfortable. They have fresh bread products and fresh fixings. My lox bagel was yummy, and my husband liked his pastrami. I saw a woman get served a salad that looked enticing, big and green and leafy. Artisan Cafe is a charming little place in the middle of the city chaos. Upon entering the quaint cafe, I was greeted with friendly service, great atmosphere, and amazing smells. After we ordered, food came out fast and our order was entirely correct. Everything was pretty simple- but very delicious ("The way sandwiches should be", my dad said). First time here. Parked on a street nearby and decided to grab a coffee prior to starting a day downtown. I was very disappointed by their chai latte. There was really no flavor in it. I have been on a mission to try all the bahn mi and Vietnamese iced coffee in the city. The bahn mi here stacked up pretty high. They have fantastically crusty french bread and a special aioli. Their iced coffee was strong and not too sweet. The shop was very cute and welcoming. read more
