I just needed to express my appreciation for ARTillery Ink. All of the artists have been great to work with and speak to. My experiences first started back when the fundraiser for Ford was going on. Since then I've had enough experiences to base my review on. When I was planning on getting my first larger tattoo I noticed the artists working together and speaking well of each other. Originally I did not have preference on artist and found it comforting that the artists were working together. My first large scale tattoo came out awesome which made me want to come back, most recently I have had the pleasure of working with Big Jasen. Great guy and great work. Overall, I can assure you, no matter what type of tattoo you are looking for, you won't have a problem with ARTillery hooking you up with the right artist. They all seem to have different skill sets, each great in what they do. On a side note, i did happen to be at the Murrieta location during Friday the 13th. Yes, it was a terribly long wait, but are you in and out of the stores for the Black Friday sales? Nope, ships crazy, but that's what you deal with for cheap tattoos from great artists. I had more respect for the artists and ARTillery in general after seeing the hard work everyone put in to satisfy us, the customer. They could have shut the doors and made everyone go home at any point, but they stayed and gave everyone willing to wait what they came for. Mine was done by one of the owners at 5am, thanks for the great service. read more

UPDATE: The owner responded quickly to my issue and it has been resolved. So I'm giving them the 5 star rating they deserve. The owner truly cares about its customers and keeping a positive image. WARNING! NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT FOR APPOINTMENTS! TEMECULA LOCATION. This was my first visit to this shop. The shop is clean and the people are friendly. The tattoo I had done came out great, despite it being a young artist. The only disappointment I have with this shop is that the deposit I had given the artist did not go toward the price of the tattoo. This information that wasn't given until after the work was done. This made the total price for the tattoo 33% higher than what we agreed to. I have been to multiple shops. This was the first time I have been surprised by an unknown fee and where the deposit did not go toward the price of the work. Needless to say I went from satisfied to very upset. It wasn't about the money but more principal because he wasn't forth coming with this information before hand. I normally tip the artist after the work is completed. Since he kept my deposit and still required the full price of the tattoo. I felt that this was a tip, which more than enough. I would of been more accepting had he let me know about this non REFUNDABLE deposit when the appointment was booked. Being surprised with paying more money is not good customer service. If this hadn't happened on my first visit. I would gave this shop a 5 star rating. read more

I am not very happy with my experience. I came into the shop and talked to Josh (phil_the_ink on Instagram). I showed him a picture of what I wanted and asked what he would charge for it. He told me $600, and I agreed to that price. He worked on it and got it about 70% of the way finished. Josh told me to contact him soon to schedule a time to get it done. At that point I paid Josh the $600. I had to contact Josh repeatedly to try and schedule a time to finish the work. I certainly had the feeling I was being put off since he already had my money. Finally, I showed up in person, and got him to set a time. He them changed and canceled appointments a few more times before I finally got in. When I did come in, he told me he was going to charge me more to complete the job. At that point I had had enough, and I walked out. The work he had already done was OK but not great, and I figured if I was going to have to pay more, I would find another tattoo artist who would not jerk me around any further, and had more talent to get the tattoo up to what I had hoped for. I definitely learned a lesson: Don't pay in full for your tattoo until the work is completely done! read more

Mike Myers you are freaking awesome! I'm so happy! Originally went in for the fundraiser they were having for a family and their son Ford. I thought it was incredible that 100% of their profits and the artists time was being donated! So I took a look at the work from the artists and chose Mike Myers! He does the most amazing watercolor tats!!! So the fundraiser was for a flash sheet so I chose the elephant. He very nicely agreed to make it look sketchy instead of just a straight line for me. So cool. Anyways I just went back bc I had intended to have him finish it off with watercolor for me. He listened to exactly what I wanted and totally blew my mind with the result. His creativity is amazing! I will be recommending him to anyone that wants a tattoo!!! *Apparently I didn't publish this lol. *Update. Still totally loving Mike Myers at Artillery Ink Temecula. He has done an amazing job touching up some old foot tats, has done another watercolor for me and is now doing a sleeve! Such talent that man! Totally recommend him. And his pricing is incredibly reasonable for those that might be wondering. read more

This is my FAVORITE TATTOO SHOP!!! The owner of the shop Iesha? I may have miss spelled her name I'm so sorry if I did! But oh my goodness I cannot thank her enough! I emailed the shop and she messaged me back and I texted pictures and she recommended me to see Charles. An CHARLES is the BEST COVER UP tattoo artist I've ever met!! He had absolutely no problem sitting down with me and going over my tattoo. I've had A LOT of people turn me away. Charles has brought me so much confidence back. I was truly loosing hope trying to find someone to help me.. I even had laser tattoo removal and got too expensive. I cannot thank Charles enough or Iesha.( so sorry if I misspelled your name!) I highly recommend going here even if your not getting a cover up I've seen some of other gentlemens work it was very nicely done. I cannot forget to include Josh, Charles apprentice! He was very sweet I hope he was able to learn alot. Josh you are learning from the best! :) Thank you guy's SOOO VERY MUCH!! :) read more

Daniel is amazing! My friend and I came in to get our first tattoos -- both on our ribs -- and we were definitely a little nervous going in. But from the moment we met him, he made us feel totally at ease. He was super funny and had us laughing the whole time, which helped so much with the nerves. Honestly, we were expecting it to hurt way more, but Daniel made the experience so smooth that it really wasn't bad at all. On top of that, the tattoos came out perfect. He's clearly talented and pays attention to detail, but also knows how to keep the vibe fun and relaxed. We're both obsessed with how they turned out. If you're thinking about getting a tattoo, especially if it's your first, we can't recommend Daniel enough. Great artist, great energy -- 100% would go back! read more

Where do I start. I had a rough experience at another shop, which landed me with a blown out, dark, unflattering tattoo. I took to Facebook looking for advice on what to do. Mike Myers messaged me and graciously offered to fix my tattoo. He not only fixed the blow out, but made it so much lighter in color and flattering. I left SO happy. Fast forward to today, I had him start my half sleeve. To say I am pleased with it so far is an understatement. I am ecstatic and so excited for him to finish it. My expectations were exceeded by a long shot. The staff is so friendly, they keep the shop nice and cool during this awful heat wave, and they are very accommodating. I can not recommend them enough! read more

I had an amazing experience at Artillery Ink with Alina as my artist! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and confident in the process. Alina is not only incredibly talented but also super professional and easy to talk to. She brought my vision to life even better than I imagined--every detail is perfect, and her line work is so clean and precise. You can really tell she puts her heart into every piece she does. If you're thinking about getting a tattoo, I can't recommend Alina enough. She absolutely nailed it and I couldn't be happier with the result. Thank you, Alina, for the incredible work! read more

I came from San Bernardino with my best friend to get this tattoo I've been wanting for ages and chose Kurt to do it because his artwork is exactly how I wanted it. Simple black and white and he improved it yet. I wouldn't have it any other way. The vibes are amazing, cool people to joke around with, they even let us play muzik on their tv, and the prices are way better than they are in SB. You definately get more than what you pay for here. Completely worth it. Each person has a different style and have a folder to show you. I plan to go back and get another piece from each one. read more

Mike Myers is hands down theeee best tattoo artist I've worked with in a long time! I've been getting tattoos since I was 18 years old. Mike is now my tattoo artist and I'm a loyal client and will not go to anyone else! He's the first artist I trusted to do my watercolor work and I'm very pleased with his work!! Mike takes the time to hear and see your vision. He's honest about the integrity of the tattoo and he ensures that you are aware of what your getting! Super knowledgeable and experienced in his craft! Very personable, funny and down to earth! Love this guy!! read more

Super friendly and super clean. I am so glad I found this shop. I called and right away Keashia, one of the owners of both the Temecula and Murrieta shops, worked with me to make sure I got paired with the right artist for what I wanted. I got a forearm tattoo, which was a cover-up, from Deano and I love it. He's so talented. I appreciate the time he took to really understand what I wanted because my tattoo came out way beyond my expectations. I've gotten compliments daily since my appointment :D I'll definitely be back! Thank you Deano & Keashia. read more

Jerrick is the man! I have gotten all my tattoos from him for the past 6+ years and counting. He is an amazing artist and I would recommend him and his shop to anyone. I myself have a story to tell and Jerrick as an artist does an extraordinary job on tattooing my story on me. He is surrounded by awesome people that will listen to the customer and provide complete satisfaction. I recommend this business to everyone who wants to get a tattoo. If there were 100 stars I would rate it 100+ ! read more

I want to talk about my daughters experience at this place with Rich Rose. After listening to my daughters experience about this guy. I seriously wanted to come down to the shop to give him an ass whooping. I can't believe he still works there. Cause he's always late and takes off to get lunch before starting up on clients. And this idiot requires a deposit. He's irresponsible, lazy, and unfriendly. Should definitely sent him out for a drug test. He's given the store a bad rep. read more

Before going to ARTillery Ink we stopped by another shop and a guy there told us our design wouldn't look good in color and said he couldn't do it. We walked out and drove to ARTillary. Joshua was so helpful and easy going. He worked with us on our design and offered different color options. He is so patient and talented. We are so glad we walked in and met Joshua. He gave us the best tattoo and did it even better than we had planned it. I'm definitely going back for more. read more
