shoutout to John their piercer - nicest staff member. don't get your tattoos done with Jaime.

Previously had a great experience getting my first tattoo. vibes were great and the artists were cool. My more recent visit went pretty much the same but the problems came with the artist Jaime. I went in and spontaneously decided to get a tattoo that turns out was only arms and legs, not a problem i was willing to take the L and get it on my arm since i wanted it on my body but the artist offered to get it done for the same price and where i wanted it on Sunday since he was free as long as I DM'd him as i had waited the 3 hours and honestly there was no indication that it was in a specific location in which i could get the tattoo. My issue starts with the artist who again offered this service, ignoring my DM entirely despite being active on his socials and instead opting to follow and stalk my girlfriend who was never helped by him. It just lacks professionalism and is extremely weird and disrespectful to a paying customer. if you pull up with your girl be aware of this weird behavior. other than that helping staff and other artists are great! read more

I went into artillery ink for friday the 13th and waited at least 6 hours to get a tattoo done by jaime. The wait time I'm okay with as I understand its inevitable for friday the 13th, but the service I got from the artist after waiting so long, I'm not. Immediately upon meeting him I could tell he was tired, which again I can understand because I'm sure all of the artists had had a long day at that point. That being said, regardless of how you feel there needs to be maintained professionalism, which jaime failed to do. When showing him where I wanted the tattoo to be placed with the stencil, he placed it a considerable distance away from where I had showed him initially which showed me he wasn't really paying attention. After adjusting it a couple of more times, he got very clearly frustrated and 1. told me he thought it looked fine where it was when I wanted to adjust it and 2. told me I can come back the following Sunday, giving me the impression he was just trying to get it over with and get me out of there. He said he had other clients who have been waiting hours and I reminded him I am one of his clients that had waited hours, and I wasn't trying to be difficult, I just wanted to make sure the tattoo was in a place I'd be happy with. I was getting the blame for him having to print and place the stencils on me repeatedly when he clearly did not care enough to get it right the first, second, up to the fifth time. I asked him if we could try one more time and finally he showed some initiative in getting it right by using a pen to sketch out where exactly the tattoo would be placed. Unfortunately, it was still just a bit off but at this point I'm sure he would have refused to tattoo me and I also wasn't comfortable getting a tattoo by him or giving him my money either. I went over and told him it's all good, clearly he's had a long day and I don't want to take up more of his time. He did not look at me or speak to me at all in response, and kept his eyes glued to the anime on the TV in his station. My boyfriend gave him one last "thank you," and he received the same inattention. Again, I don't care about waiting long times, I don't care that the artists may be tired, that is completely understandable and fine with me. But if he had just told me, "Hey, I'm sorry but I've had a really long day and I think I need to tap out, could you come in on Sunday?" I would've been glad to accept his offer. Instead, I got complete unprofessionalism and no tattoo at the end of the day. The rest of the staff were nice and decent and I'm sure this facility does an amazing job most of the time, but I had never had an experience like this from an artist and I had to share it. read more

I am a disabled vet and after a long day at the VA clinic and a long drive home to look forward to I decided to call ARTillery and see if I could do a walk-in. Called and one of the shop managers said he would see if any artists were available. Bella ended up texting me. I sent her some ideas I had and let her rework it. Arrived and the shop was great. Really good positive energy. Bella got me settled in and then gave me the best tattoo (#8 I've received this far. Couldn't recommend her more. Perfect touch on the machine, didn't drill down into me, but she made sure she really got good strong lines and complete black fills. Price was awesome too. I'm already pulling together stuff for my next session. read more

I want to give a shout out to rich rose I've been to a few shops and the vibe was not it. I have sensory issues and rich accommodated me to do some tattoos at night so that the shop would be more quiet. He made sure I was comfortable and even tho the tattoos took awhile I appreciated that he wasn't just looking to get it get paid get out he took his time to make sure my forever art was done just right and that my tattoo experience was one I enjoyed. His lettering is gorgeous this quote on my leg is not a font he typed in and printed out he took time and created this by his own design. (A true artist In my opinion)That makes me feel good that this tattoo was in so many way one of a kind. He's a good dude we had great conversations both times he tattooed me. As a women who is very untrusting of men and 9/10 chosen to work with women only. Rich is the exception. read more

VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE forgot the girls name but her Instagram is chicken juice or something and she kept talking badly about all the other artists in the shop. Was super unprofessional and I actually go to one of the artists she was talking badly about. AND THAT ARTIST DOES WAYYY BETTER WORK. I even tried moving the conversations to other things and she just wanted to talk poorly about the artist and the shop as a whole. Why even work there if you have nothing good to say about anyone or anything? It's very unfortunate because me and my friends expected a better experience but now we will spend our money else where. Last night my son and I were tattooed by Mr Ryan Mitchell. It had been 9 years since I got my last work done and my son just turned 18 so we decided what better time than now? We had made the plan to both get some ink to celebrate his born day he had planned on getting a matching tattoo of a symbol I have on my wrist. I wasn't sure yet of what to get up until two weeks before his birthday, our family dog of 13 years Peachie passed away. The day he passed we both decided we were gonna get his paw print memorialized in ink. I made the appointment online and within a day I got a response to set a date and time. I then got a text from Ryan who introduced himself and was asking for a description of what we wanted. It was our dogs paw pressed in a clay imprint. I was honestly expecting the shop to pass this simple small job to an apprentice of some sort just to blast a stamp of it on us but when we went in to actually get it done It was obvious that Ryan was no apprentice. His vision for our ink was to make it actually look imprinted in our leg as it is in the mold. I was immediately impressed with his imagination and confidence in bringing the vision to reality. Long story short he knocked it out of the park. Both of us are extremely happy with his art and grateful for his skill, talent ,time and effort to help us memeorialize or boy Peachie the pit bull. We will be back to see Ryan for more work! He and his wife are awesome. So make sure you book with Ryan Mitchell when you need that black and gray realism!!! read more

After mentioning I was fairly new of getting a tattoo and was referred to another artist I decided to make an appointment for a half sleeve. Got to my appointment and ended up finding out it was cash only... (wish I knew that ahead of time to save the embarrassment) went to the bank but unfortunately was closed due to a holiday. Anyways I was more frustrated by the price as the quote was around $2000. I decided after all of this to search around for other artists and decided to get an amazing deal from another local tattoo studio. Did I mention the price I was quoted was more than twice what the new studio quoted? read more

Me and both my kids were going to get our first Tat but where? And they had to match. So we started doing research. We asked people we knew. This was going to be our first tattoo. It had to be perfect. ARTillery is where friends and our research pointed us. We made our appointment and our Artist Pecas showcased his tats on Instagram and after seeing his work. I felt very confident trusting Pecas with the task of making 3 people at the same time feel at ease with our decision. We showed up and Pecas was ready. We started the journey me, then my son and then my daughter all got our first tat. We are all super pleased with our decision to not only go to ARTillery but the owner helping us choose Pecas for the artist. No regrets. We are all healed up and love the end result. Great prices, great service and great final results. Who are you gonna trust with your first or tenth tattoo? My honest suggestion is call ARTillery. read more

Owner contacted me directly after I inquired about getting a cover up on my arm. She scheduled me with the artist I found on IG, Mike Myers, and he's been great! He's a funny guy, very friendly, and works with my schedule. I had only the outline of flowers on my arm and he's done his best to finish what another artist started. He's added some of his own flare to my arm, including this hummingbird which was his idea. And also the hummingbird silohuettes. Genius. I get compliments on my arm, and specifically the hummingbird, all the time. I think the piece looks great... I'm loving how it's turning out... Mike Myers you are freaking awesome! I'm so happy! Originally went in for the fundraiser they were having for a family and their son Ford. I thought it was incredible that 100% of their profits and the artists time was being donated! So I took a look at the work from the artists and chose Mike Myers! He does the most amazing watercolor tats!!! So the fundraiser was for a flash sheet so I chose the elephant. He very nicely agreed to make it look sketchy instead of just a straight line for me. So cool. Anyways I just went back bc I had intended to have him finish it off with watercolor for me. He listened to exactly what I wanted and totally blew my mind with the result. His creativity is amazing! I will be recommending him to anyone that wants a tattoo!!! *Apparently I didn't publish this lol. *Update. Still totally loving Mike Myers at Artillery Ink Temecula. He has done an amazing job touching up some old foot tats, has done another watercolor for me and is now doing a sleeve! Such talent that man! Totally recommend him. And his pricing is incredibly reasonable for those that might be wondering. read more

I've been going to this shop for years, not because of the artistic skill, but because I (had) trust & loyalty in this shop. Miguel (@martian_ink) did a larger piece on my arm, which he was 30 mins late starting, then proceeded to take 3-4 blunt breaks with his girlfriend outside while I sat in the chair for 10-15 mins alone each time. After leaving the shop I made him aware of some empty spots he forgot to fill in, to which he told me he needed to be paid again. If it a preference or additional detail I wanted added, it would be understandable. But this was an artist mistake, who is too blinded by greed to realize the client/artist relationship is more important than your pride. so you can save the needle and I'll save the thousands of dollars I was planning on spending on future work and give it to someone who puts pride in their work. Wish I could have handled this privately in the DM's, but he doesn't care to respond to those either. Other artists in the shop are crazy talented though :) read more
