I didn't personally select this company--the military hired them for our PCS--but I feel incredibly lucky that they did. I've been through three PCS moves now, and without question, this was the best experience I've ever had with a moving crew.
From the moment they arrived, the crew showed up ready to work with great attitudes and good energy. Everyone was friendly, respectful, and easy to talk to. They were more than willing to explain the process and answer any questions we had without making us feel rushed or confused. Truly great communication all around.
We requested that everything intended for storage at our next duty station be packed separately, and they handled this perfectly. They packed those items into a single crate, clearly explained which crate it was, and even described what it would look like so we can easily identify it for the pickup crew at our next location. (We did have our storage items separated ahead of time to help, but they still executed it flawlessly.)
They also fully respected our boundaries--any rooms or cabinets we had sectioned off were completely left alone, no questions asked.
Every item was packed with care and labeled thoroughly and correctly, which is something I have never experienced with military-hired movers before. I am extremely grateful for that attention to detail. We separated our high-value items in one area ahead of their arrival, and the crew did a very thorough inventory. Their system is digital, and we went through each high-value item one by one as they packed it, logged it, and assigned item numbers. Even better, the inventory sheet was emailed to us less than 30 minutes after they left.
This crew took so much stress off our shoulders. I was incredibly anxious going into this move, and that stress just melted away as I watched them work. Mahalo to the entire R&E Trucking Express team for your professionalism, kindness, and hard work.
