I've been coming to ARTHA for several months now, and I still love it just as much as when I first started. It's become a regular part of my self-care routine. I've tried a mix of classes and services -- from challenging Pilates to deeply relaxing yin sessions and sound baths -- and each one offers something a little different depending on what I need that day. I also love that the infrared sauna sessions are set up in your own private room, which makes the experience feel even more relaxing and personal. They also do a great job of creating a sense of community. From time to time, they host special weekend events with thoughtful touches like goodie bags and guest sponsors, which makes you feel really valued as a member. I've even joined one of their group hikes, which was such a fun way to connect outside the studio. They've also brought in guest instructors for things like dance and Zumba-style classes, which keeps things fresh and interesting. What really keeps me coming back is the overall experience. The space is always clean, calm, and beautifully maintained, and I love how easy it is to just show up -- mats, towels, and props are all provided. Parking in the back is also a huge plus, especially for LA. I've found myself telling friends about it and inviting them as my guests, which says a lot. It genuinely feels like a little wellness sanctuary, and I'm really glad I found this place. read more

My experience with Artha ended very poorly after several years of association with the facility. I received numerous promotional messages encouraging trial visits, so I attended both the West LA and Studio City locations to determine which classes and schedule worked best before committing to a long-term membership. This is a normal step for anyone evaluating a fitness or wellness membership. Later, management accused me of violating their policies simply for attending both locations and permanently revoked my access. The explanation provided was inconsistent with the promotional outreach they themselves sent encouraging trial participation. The situation escalated further when I accompanied a referred guest using a guest pass that had been given to me by another member. Instead of handling the matter professionally or discussing it in good faith, "Miguel" imposed a permanent ban and stated he would not correspond further. The lack of flexibility, unwillingness to review context, and overall tone from management was disappointing for a business that markets itself as a community-oriented wellness space. Potential members should carefully review all policies and be aware that enforcement may be strict and final regardless of circumstances. read more

Attended my first class here today and wow it was such a great workout! The heat was a great temperature, the lavender cooling towels were such a luxurious touch. The best part was the instructor Erica she was so sweet and went around and met everyone and memorized everyone's names so quickly I was impressed!! The studio is super clean, will definitely be back! (Can't find the Yelp location for West LA so posting to this location!) read more

I want to share my experience with the NEW Location of ARTHA West Los Angeles, in the West Edge complex on Olympic and Bundy. I have been grateful to have been able to try their intro week, and I am astonished at how wonderful the space is, the amenities, the kind staff, the cleanliness, and each class, as well as the music that is in the space is different than what I have heard in other wellness spaces or gyms. This is truly a one-of-a-kind, curated experience, and I have waited for them to open and am so glad they are. Highly encourage people to try the NEW (additional) Location of Artha in West Los Angeles. read more

I've found the saunas and cryotherapy to be helpful muscle recovery. The massage therapists are excellent and great for athletes.

I love this place so much. The parking is good, facilities are spacious and clean, showers are amazing and they have heated towels! The wellness therapies are incredible. I've done Hyperbaric oxygen therapy and cryotherapy so far and I feel so refreshed after. I love that they have some non-heated options for classes. The instructors and staff are so kind and welcoming. I drive a little extra to get here, but it's completely worth it. read more

I have been a member at Artha Studio CIty for over a year. It is well-managed; staff and teachers are competent, professional and nice. Easy ample parking. I take the mat pilates classes and find them challenging and effective. I end every workout with a (free) cryo session. I take advantage of the other services available, most at a nominal charge; I have also gotten a couple of massages and was happy with the treatments. I have belonged to excellent gyms and studios my entire adult life, and I believe this is my favorite. I love the vibe of the place, and it puts me in a good frame of mind every time I walk in. I love it. 5 stars. read more

Omg this place is so cute!!! My bestie and I were visiting from OC to celebrate her birthday. And Raphael was amazingly helpful. He was so nice and made the whole process so freaking easy. The place is GORGEOUS. The sound bath was amazing! At first they introduce Yin yoga but ... then it's full on immersion! Highly recommend!!! I can't wait to go back. PS. Parking is in the back! read more

Artha - Cryotherapy Near Me - Studio City, California

Update: strictly for mgmt practices. I still absolutely love Artha and the staff but would not be surprised if management practices are to their detriment. The team here is incredible. I've seen them handle some crazy things very professionally and will say mgmt at the very least trained them well. Danny, Jackie, Erika have always been SO kind and wonderful. Joe & Ash are the best yoga teachers in LA. I love love Artha, and sing their praises to everyone, but that love is waning due to mgmt. I joined as a founding member. I signed a contract. Artha decided at some point to breach said contract (with no amendment or notice) and change pricing structures. I found out when I realized they were fraudulently charging my card for services included in my contract. From reading reviews this has happened to many ppl, with no resolution. They've simply decided to not include about $1,040 of annual usage included in my contract without lowering the monthly cost or offering any resolution. I can understand that things change and assumed speaking with management would result in a mutually agreeable solution. I've been kindly reaching out since November 2023 in hopes to resolve this issue. In Nov the manager of WeHo responded promptly with a copy/paste explanation that they let members know (they didn't) and it was to keep up with costs (irrelevant for a contract w/o amendment). I thought it might be best to handle this through the actual Studio City manager. I reached out to Sophia on 12/15/23, then again in January, then again in February, and received zero response. I know she's received the emails because one included a referral, and I received my credit. When I realized Sophia was never going to respond, I tried the WeHo location again. I reached out to Kazia from WeHo in March and April, and similarly received no response. For a high-end business targeting a specific demographic, customer service is an expectation. I see a lot of reviews stating they can't get a response from mgmt for a week, well 5 months later, I would agree and don't think I can recommend Artha to friends any longer. This is a poor business practice in a highly competitive market (especially in LA) and if they don't diffuse this situation, profitability of the business is far from imminent. If they ever do resolve this, I'll update this review but based on others it seems like they don't care to. read more

What an amazing place! I'm thrilled to be a part of Artha and its lovely blissful community. Yoga + Soundbaths: A must try. My first class was with Melissa and I'm obsessed. The soundbath with the gong, crystal bowls and little bells is just what I need to wind down. Float tank: not your ordinary pod. This tank is a full room with stars up above and fantastic music. I could do this for hours. And I will. Cryo: if you know me, I'm Caribbean. I do not like the cold. This cryo helped with my shoulder pain and I came back for more. Mind over matter is the motto here. Two words: I'm obsessed! Highly recommend you try it. read more

Artha - Cryo twins! - Cryotherapy Near Me - Studio City, California

I recently had the most incredible experiences at Artha using their FREE one week trail! It was everything I needed to truly recharge. From the moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed by a peaceful atmosphere that instantly melted my stress away. Artha offers a wide range of services designed to nurture both body and mind. I especially loved the massages --each one personalized by skilled therapists who really understood how to relieve tension, swelling and provide relaxation. It was a one-of-a-kind experience. I had a deep tissue massage at the beginning of the week with Telanto, he's insanely good mixing in a combination of deep tissue and Reiki in the session. At the end of the week I booked a lymphatic drainage massage with the incredibly talented Dina, much needed from giving strong efforts at the infrared heated yoga & pilate classes I took at Artha. The classes offer tools for relaxation, mindfulness, and self-care. Whether you're new to wellness practices or experienced, the instructors create such a warm and supportive space that you leave feeling more connected with yourself. What truly sets Artha apart, though, is the thoughtful attention to every little detail. From the calming scents and relaxing music to the beautiful decor, every aspect contributes to an immersive and rejuvenating escape. If you're looking for a place to connect, disconnect, unwind and refresh, I can't recommend Artha enough. It's the perfect retreat from the fast pace of everyday life, and I signed up to become a member! See ya at class! read more

I've been searching for a convenient and easy way to add cold plunge treatments into my life for a while. When I discovered that Artha had opened in Studio City, I immediately signed up to try their therapies, and it was a great experience so far. The classes are also great. Soundbath is my favourite. They have almost everything! "Almost" is because there is no breathwork classes. Yet. I hope they will add some to the schedule and then it will be just perfect! read more

I was able to get a day pass and did the cryo and sauna which I enjoyed. Staff is very friendly. The only reason this isn't higher is because the massage I got was awful. Even at its discounted price I got. ($100 as opposed to $180) $100 was overpriced based on what I got. Before we started I was very specific about what I wanted, what body parts brought me there, and how I wanted hard pressure on my body. She was verbally very agreeable but her actions were very dismissive, and clearly she had a way she wanted to do things regardless of what I wanted. Multiple times during the massage I told her areas that were especially needed and yet that didn't matter. I told her multiple times for more pressure, she would say ok. But never did. She forgot to do my right arm, and when I told her she forgot she said "I 100% did that arm." When she in fact 100% did not. As I have a muscle in my forearm I was especially waiting for her to get to. So I know she didn't. Anyway she said fine, and I kid you not- spent about 10 seconds on my arm. Very generically massaging it, almost just to appease me. Overall I would say outside of massages, This is a very good place and I think it has promise overall. Just do not get a massage here. It was the worst massage I've had in a long time. read more

I've absolutely loved being with Artha!! Love all the classes, teachers and health services. Miguel the manager is so helpful and very charming. Can't wait to come back each time. P.S. Get a location in Calabasas so I can go even more!! Plus I know you'd get lots of members in the area read more

I love this place! The staff is super friendly and always make you feel welcome. The facility is really clean, which is a big plus. They offer unlimited access to the float tanks, which is my favorite thing to do there--it's so relaxing. They also have cryotherapy, yoga, and sound baths, so there's something for everyone. Also, it's my appointment so it's not like a bunch of people are running up in there at the same time. The combo of float tanks and cryotherapy is awesome--it really leaves you feeling refreshed. Honestly, it's a no-brainer if you're looking for a spot to chill and take care of yourself. Highly recommend checking it out! read more

Warning, warning, warning !!!!!!!!!!! do not bring anything of value or leave anything in your locker. The employees go through the lockers and take what they want. They will send you a massage therapist to speak to you just to tell you they will send you an email. This makes me really sad because majority of the staff I do like..But now I don't know which one to trust. They took my cash, my make up bag and attempted to charge over $20,000 on my credit cards that they stole while I was still in the establishment. I had to call a few times and make a lot of noise and send my own emails before someone in management called me. offered me nothing and said they'd follow up. I'm not holding my breath so I need to let everybody know.. This place gives you a false sense of security and safety. It is a very dangerous place. I question everything in there now. be very careful. read more

Love the location, the services, the thoughtfulness of combining all the different classes, treatments and therapies. The app is super easy to use. What normally can take 5 minutes can be done in seconds. You're greeted by a "host" which automatically puts me at ease as I feel I'm home and not a "customer service representative" which makes you feel like you're at an airport. The prices are awesome. The classes include mats and eucalyptus towels. My pet peeve about classes is carrying my own mats in especially as a guy. Email response is slow but I don't blame them- it's a very big facility and the staff's priority (I asked) is members first especially who are at are Sanctuary The main difference from any other facility is that this is truly a Sanctuary. As soon as you step in you feel super calm and away from the noise is everyday living. I love it here!!! read more

I've been an ARTHA member since the Studio City location opened and I can't recommend this wellness spa enough. The staff is kind and welcoming and the facilities are extremely clean.
