My massage therapist, Jackson was hands down (or on) that I have had in my life. He was intuitive to what my body needed and did a blend of techniques for me as i need some lymphatic some swedish and a little deep tissue. Ive never had anyone with that kind of magical energy massage me. He drapes effortlessly like its a dance. Exposing the area he js addressing while tucking in a way that makes you feel hugged. Since I have been going to Jackson my lymphedema has left my arm and my joints feel refreshed and amazing. I am appreciative of his intuitiveness because i dont like to talk during the experience. And with Jackson it truly is just that. Go treat yourself; your body will thank you read more

Highly recommend Candice! I would give her 10 stars if I could. She is a true healer who is attentive, kind, and very skilled. I especially appreciate her gentle positioning, as I have severe arthritis and chronic pain, so it has been challenging to find a massage therapist who won't cause injury. The studio is very clean, with calming music and relaxing nature sounds. Fred, the owner, is warm and welcoming. Conveniently located with nearby street parking and an underground parking garage. read more

Just came back from a one hour massage +15 minutes foot massage with Jan. For me to say that I didn't want the massage to end were the first words out of my mouth. It was so relaxing and so perfect. The room was quiet and you could not hear any surround sound from above or around. Music was serene and calming. Definitely would recommend to anyone. was awesome! read more

Excuse the pun, but you are literally in such good hands if you come to see Janelle. This was my first time experience with lymphatic drainage massage and first time at this wellness spa. I will most definitely be returning for another session with her. Thank you so much for your hard work Janelle. Can't wait to come back! read more

Disappointed to leave this review in all honestly. I have been regularly coming to Fred Parker Wellness for about a year. A couple of weeks ago I had a very awkward and uncomfortable massage with one of the new therapists. The pressure was wrong, when I asked for lighter she told me that was what I needed. My neck started to spasm and I left in more pain than when I came. She also kept going into the cabinet where I had placed my things to get something about 5 times. I almost stopped the massage but felt too uncomfortable to. The person who checked me out asked me how my massage was and I explained my concerns (the worst massage of my life) and he apologized and said she was new. He gave me a 20% discount but disappointing to spend $100 on an experience I wish I hadn't done. Unfortunately I'll need to find a new regular spot. read more

Scheduling was a breeze! I made an appt same day. Parking was easy, either street parking or the garage below for $5! My therapist Janelle was really great, good energy and technique was therapeutic! I do have to note that there is nobody who works the front desk. When I arrived there was no intro, no check in, nada~ I didn't love that for safety reasons and from a customer service perspective. Especially since it was only myself and the therapist inside. The room smelled heavily of paint fumes which in turn made me feel worse than when I arrived. I asked Janelle if the spa was painted recently and she said no, but there is adjacent construction. I had to place tissue on the face cradle to help with the smell and when I flipped onto my back I had her get me a tissue and put some essential oil on it so I could stuff it into my nostrils. While this construction is taking place the spa might consider investing in air purifiers, plants that absorb odors and toxins, as well as some essential oils diffusing. My body feels good thanks for Janelle, but I'm not sure I'll be back for the reasons listed. read more

! Best massage I've ever had in LA hands down! Fred is masterful wow. He found and loosened up spots I've never felt reached in a massage before, and I've had lots. I feel relaxed and loose, peaceful and downright high. The Himalayan salt room is so serene -- the glow and feel of it was perfect for a couples massage and the music and sound system really added to the vibe, luxurious while not pretentious. Brought my fiance for his birthday and he had such a blissful, relaxing massage with Jan too, we can't wait to come back. Thank you Fred and Jan! read more

Overall enjoyed my experience. Haven't had a massage in a long time due to many disappointing experiences in the past. Glad to find this business not to far from my neighborhood. Reception was welcoming. Agota was my therapist, she did beautiful work. She did a mix of deep tissue and Swedish, really beautiful experience. As a plus size person I was fairly comfortable. Feedback would be that a 2hr $190 massage includes head and face for some length of time . Seems unreasonable it's an add on at that price point. Lastly the music jumps from classical, Asian, Native American to nature sounds, this kept throwing me off as I was trying to clear my mind and latch onto sound. This place fits a classical vibe for me the doors tend to shut loudly, was startled several times and jumped once at the loud sounds. read more

My LOMI LOMI massage session with JAN was one of the most deeply healing and out-of-worldly experiences I've ever had. I came to her with tightness in my diaphragm that made it hard to breathe deeply, and through her intuitive, nurturing touch--especially the gentle stomach work--she helped me reconnect with my breath in a way I hadn't felt in a long time. I'm beyond grateful to be able to breathe deeply and effortlessly again. Jan has an incredible gift. Her intuition, presence, and dedication go far beyond technique--she's a true healer. The experience felt both spiritual and grounding, as if I were being embraced by Mother Earth herself. I left feeling not only physically freer but emotionally lighter, and profoundly at peace. If you're looking for more than just a massage--if you're seeking real healing--Jan is someone you'll want to meet. She also does exceptional deep tissue massages and reiki. Thank you for restoring my wellness Jan. read more

I've been contemplating coming here since I moved back to LA and I do not regret it. Good location and pretty easy to find. Agotha was the practitioner for my 90 minute deep tissue massage and she was very pleasant, but also highly skilled and did a few really beneficial techniques that I haven't experienced before with other masseuses. I did read a complaint online that the practitioner checks you in and out but that didn't bother me at all. Two things I observed: lack of parking info on the website. People in LA hate guessing about parking so it would be nice to know there's an adjacent public lot for pay, street parking(only 90 min) and a large free public lot for CVS and the market(2 hours). Finally, the noise level was like a 7/10 for a massage- there was either a class happening or ppl talking the lobby or it could've been a practitioner and a client but that went on the full 90 minutes. The toilet ran for over 10 min at some point and then next door perhaps it was construction...??? I liked that the music was turned up in the room but maybe it was to cover the extraneous noise. It didn't bother me, per se. I just noticed that there was a lot going on. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience and I would def recommend Agotha. read more

Massage is pretty much my one and only vice: a regular part of my life for decades. My long-time massage therapist moved out of state and I was looking. After some underwhelming and disappointing exploration, I came across reviews for Fred and FPW. Taking a chance, I booked with Fred. You know that feeling when you walk in - and just know?? Yup. It was that. Wow ! The reviews and his reputation are legitimate and absolutely on point. The facility is beautiful, impeccably clean, and calm. Fred is intuitive, kind, and an absolute master of his skill and art. I am delighted to have found such an amazing fit. Highly, highly, highly recommend. read more

Holy moly I just left my massage with Daniel who was an absolute gift. I'm a massage therapist and muscle nerd in general. While I can appreciate pretty much any massage, this guy is the real deal and knows his stuff. Deep Therapeutic work that also feels gentle and nurturing. I highly recommend for anyone managing chronic pain. He's a great listener and so intuitive. read more

My husband and I had a wonderful couples massage in their salt room. Fantastic massages in a room with beautiful ambiance.

Deepest Deep tissue I've ever received! STRONG man! Felt like work, but so worth it in the end.

So great to be back! Johnny was my masseuse this time, he was kind and heard me on my areas of concern. He gave a terrific massage and added in reflexology. As always I left feeling super relaxed and nurtured. I come here regularly and the sound baths are another staple that I really enjoy. I love this place! read more

Clean, serene, professional and kind staff. Got an amazing massage here and would highly recommend!

I'm a first timer for a lymphatic drainage massage and came here to check it out. It was 90 minutes and I added a scout massage on top of that because why not? Upon my arrival I was treated wonderfully. There was an initial discussion regarding my familiarity and my experience with a lymphatic drainage massage to which I explained I had no experience, but have friends that have had it and recommended that I check it out. I was informed that this type of massage isn't the same as a traditional or Swedish massage where the focus is on the muscles, but rather this was moving the fluids to work with your lymph nodes to sort of accelerate and encourage that process along. I felt extremely comfortable and in good hands. I'm sitting here a few hours after having the service done and I feel incredible and relaxed. I have also noticed my knees feel different (in a good way) when I'm walking around the house. I've heard depending on how your body is you can have reactions that of an upset stomach, but I feel great. I definitely plan on returning to this spot as I am not only satisfied with the service that I got, but in my research for this type of massage, the price feels more affordable than most other places that I've seen. read more

Candice is an amazing healer! This place is a nice retreat in the city and Candice is a unique, 1 of a kind soul with next level skill. Her energy is very Hawaiian and she made me feel so cared for. I actually hallucinated peaceful trance images while she was rubbing my head because she's so good at moving in a healing flow to help you take a break from your busy mind and check into flow state for a bit. Fred Parker is amazing. Nice clean facility, very comfortable, the website is easy to navigate, and the parking is validated. I have not tried any of the other massage therapists, but if they are like the owner, Fred, you can't go wrong. Besides having amazing hands, Fred is kind and attentive. I get deep-tissue massage for an hour and l leave there feeling wonderful. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a good massage. read more

I haven't had a proper massage since before Covid first struck. Finally getting back to taking care of my body again, I found Fred Parker Wellness after a few minutes on line. I was shocked at all the 5 star reviews for this little place in Studio City I've never heard of before, so I read many of the reviews in their entirety. When you treat yourself to a healing massage, you don't want to dump a lot of cash on the wrong place or untrained non-intuitive hands. The reviews did not lie about Fred Parker Wellness! I made an appointment with Fred himself. It's a bit more ($15) but TOTALLY worth it. Fred welcomed me immediately and brought me to my room. He took the time to learn my issues and ask what I wanted from the session. It was clear that he heard everything I said, because the 1.5 hour session was just what my body needed! The only downside to the whole day was that it ended all too quickly. Thanks so much, Fred and Fred Parker Wellness! You have a new, repeat customer who will happily sing your praises often and earnestly. read more

LIFE CHANGING! I'm a dancer so I've been to many massage facilities and this one is on a whole other level. Immediately walking in feeling welcomed and comfortable. From the oils they used, to the tentativeness to each muscle it was truly the best experience I've ever had. I felt so safe! Equal parts relaxed and feeling that each area of pain was released. The energy was calming throughout and not only will we go again but I may even get a package! read more

I have gone twice now -- once to Jackson and once to Fred -- and both times was so impressed, relieved, relaxed and restored.

I had some extra points on my ClassPass account and decided to use them for a massage before closing my account. I must say, I couldn't be happier that I chose to try this place. Having explored numerous massage spots in the Valley, from reflexology to high-end spas, I've never experienced anything quite like this. Fred, in addition to being exceptionally pleasant and kind, is truly a master of his craft. His prices are reasonable so book an appointment and thank me later! read more

My husband and I were gifted a couples massage from my brother for my birthday. The experience was lovely. From Joe at the front desk to meeting Fred the owner, as well as the beautiful Himalayan salt room where we were worked on by two wonderful massage therapists. Jan is just magical! As a nursing mom of two little ones, my body really needed some tlc. She used trigger therapy and stretching to target my sore muscles. Wow. What a difference. The facial massage was heavenly too. My husband really enjoyed the super relaxing and soothing Swedish massage as well with Rebecca. Will be back for sure! read more
