It was the best priced frames for my size that I can find online and the package came undamaged. The quality of the frames are excellent.

This is my second order within 3 weeks and I am beyond happy. The quality of the frame is excellent. The colors have been true to what was shown and described. They created a monster because all I do now is pull out the tape measure and place my order. Happy customer and a forever customer. I ordered a custom frame from Art To Frames late last month and just received it today, let me say the quality is on point, well exceed my expectation. I used it to frame a puzzle which my girlfriend brought in Paris. Love how they all come together. Will definitely come back again if I need a custom frame. read more

I placed an order two month and a half ago for a custom fit frame. This order was nearly $300, so I had assumed that it came with the glass as part of the frame. The order shipped after the estimated delivery date, then showed up a month after. I was surprised when it showed up without the glass. In addition, I stated in my order that I wanted to hang my frame landscape and that's the way I wanted the wire hangar to go. The frame arrived eight he portrait style hanging wire. The second hanging piece that came with the frame was not big enough to hang the way this custom frame was supposed to. Only the front part of the frame was stained the dark brown, the back of the frame was halfway stained, it looks terrible. I was excited for this item to arrive, but was very disappointed with both the quality, shipping and overall outcome of this frame. I would not recommend to anyone else and wish I would've spent my money elsewhere. read more

Ordered online a custom sized frame. Very reasonably priced and arrived sooner than expected (took about a week and I live across the country). Good quality frame for the price paid and was expertly wrapped to ensure it didn't break in the shipping process. Great job. I will be a repeat customer! read more

Like most reviews, I have an appreciation for Art to Frames. However, I will not be ordering from them again. Yes, customer service and cooperation is sub-par at best. I received the frame I ordered in a relatively short period of time. If I remember correctly, it was actually earlier than anticipated. I didn't open the box for several days but when I did, the color of the frame was not anywhere near the color represented on the website. I contacted customer 'service' (joke) and was asked to send a photo of the frame. It was well packaged with plastic straps holding the frame in place inside the packaging. I didn't want to cut the straps because I knew I would be returning it so I peeled away some of the wrapping so that I could get a picture of the paint on the back of the frame. Not good enough for them, although it was a pretty good representation of the overall frame color. So I cut the straps, disassembled the packaging and took another photo and sent to them. A couple more emails went back and forth and by this time it's pretty clear that they are not going to do anything about my problem so I asked the obvious question...yes or no. Basically the answer was no. I would return it for a refund but shipping cost are on me. They don't do exchanges. So in order to get the frame that will go with the piece I want to frame, I have to return the frame,, wait for the refund and then order the one I want? Sounds like an exchange to me. Whatever. So, over the weekend, I ordered the frame that I think will be the right color...but then again, who knows. Today I packaged the original order (no easy task so that it wouldn't get broken and I wouldn't get a refund) and took it to UPS to ship back. Well, it would have cost me 1 1/2 time the cost of the frame to ship it back. Are you ______ kidding me? DONE with Art to Frames. Next time I'll pay Michael's or Hobby Lobby to customize a frame for me. Art to Frames just lost a customer but after reading reviews they obviously could not care less. We purchased our first frame from Art To Frames for a 16x24 photo and we LOVE it. The frame is beautiful and reasonably priced. The frame also arrived quicker than I expected. I love how they have frames for all size photos with so many options and colors to choose from. We have many other pictures we want to frame and I know we will definitely purchase them through Art To Frames. read more

I have to say I was very impressed with the frame I received recently. It is just a simple black frame but I think it is beautiful even the inside. I liked the materials used and I thought it was very well-made. And quite a reasonable price! Now I'm angry with myself for buying so many frames at A.C.Moore that were more expensive and that had chips coming off the outside of the frame like it was some kind of cheap laminate. I wish I had discovered Art To Frames earlier. Nevertheless, I will ONLY use Art To Frames going forward. I am a very happy customer. Thank you!! Shout out to Brooklyn, too! read more

I ordered 4 frames with double matting for some art that I had purchased from a gallery. The frames were made and shipped very quickly. The frames were packed extremely well and look amazing. Customer service is top notch. I had a small issue with matting, and they resolved the issue immediately. I will be using Art to Frames for my future framing needs. read more

The frame ships with completely unsuitable plastic that they call an option to glass. It is not. It is a film that as a designer I can see no use for in even the worst home or office. You must upgrade to actual glass which of course throws their price points out of the affordable range. Total scam. Don't order read more

Yikes...ArtToFrame's website is glitchier than any professional service I have ever experienced. It is nearly impossible to select exactly the frame you want, as their website seemingly has a mind of its own and will alter selections that you have already made. In addition, there are options that they offer (like acid-free backing) that are nowhere to be found on their site, and options they don't offer (like local pick up) that are still listed on their site. If you make an order and anything needs to be changed (like if, you know, their site decides you want Styrene instead of UV Non-Glare Plexi like you selected): Good luck! You will have to cancel your order, wait 3 days to be refunded, and then you must attempt to navigate their site again from scratch to purchase again (and hopefully you don't run into the same thing.) If you need customer service: Good luck! They answer quickly and are nice enough, but absolutely cannot help you with anything. Issues with the site? Must be on your end. Issues with your order? Cancel and try again. Order at your own risk! read more

I ordered a frame and Matt for a Christmas gift. When it arrived it was damaged. I contacted them for a replacement, but it didn't ship for 7 weeks, until after follow up. Easy website to navigate the correct size frame I needed for my poster. Promo code for first time buyers. They give you the option to pick up the item from their location, Brooklyn, or fast cheap delivery. Shipping status was emailed and texted to me! I did not have a good experience with this seller at all. I ordered 4 picture frames. 3 20x20 in BLACK and one 24x24 in off-white. When I opened the box there were 4 WHITE frames inside!!!! So right off the bat they only got 1/4 of my order correct. Then upon unboxing, I notice that the CHEAP plexi-glass is cracked in TWO places because they just placed the 20x20 frames inside the 24x24 frame and it broke the plastic. So I tried to see how noticeable the crack was thinking, okay I can paint the frames they got wrong and just make this work (since you have to pay to ship both ways). I put my item in the frame and the CHEAP plexi0glass is bulging out of the frame. So I pry up all those horrible little metal tabs (why dear god do these exist?) and try to place it again. And again it pops out...so now I quit. I start boxing everything back up and am shipping it back, at a loss of $20! ALSO: Did I mention that the base models are plastic and cardboard? Sure that sounds like a good way to save some money but I would have much rather they started at a better price and offered a better product. It is a bit deceiving when you are ordering at just how CHEAP the basic frames are. They weigh next to nothing, come with the thinnest piece of plastic imaginable, use those god awful metal tabs, and are backed by thin corrugated cardboard....come on! read more

I found Art To Frames while browsing for a customized framing service and was pleasantly surprised with their prices. Customer service was excellent and one of their reps (Melissa) was incredibly helpful in walking me through the process. I dabble in making art. I had just finished a piece in charcoal and realized the paper I had used was 14x17. I figured it shouldn't be a problem. The art store was unable to help. The hobby and local framing stores wanted to charge upwards of $500 for my "custom" frame. I just wanted a frame for the charcoal piece. Thankfully I discovered Art to Frames. For an extremely reasonable price I was able to purchase a frame that fit my 14x17 piece perfectly! It was swiftly shipped to my residence and very well packaged! The frame is wood and better than most that I saw at my local spots! I am thrilled and relieved that I found these guys and will be purchasing all my framing needs from them! read more

On December 22, 2018, I placed an online order for two, 24"X24" frames. They arrived quickly (December 27, 2018), especially considering the holiday week and choosing standard shipping. The frames were wrapped within an inch of their lives - totally secure - with no scratches or dents of any kind. The backs were simple to open in order to place the prints inside. After I framed the first print, I realized there was still a protective layer of plastic over the plexiglass. I thought I had removed everything but there was a lot of plastic wrapping, so I missed it. For far too long, I have not framed artwork due to the cost. Finding Art to Frames online has changed that. I compared prices all over the internet and this price was the best for what I needed. I will be buying from them, again. read more

I can't even fully put into words how disappointed I am with the frame I received. This was an expensive frame and there were so many things wrong that I can't even gift it. So now I have to figure out last minute how I'm going to come up with a gift because this one is unusable. First of all, the corners of the frames where the "wood" meets are completely damaged. Every single corner. Second, the frame is sliced in a few different places on the front and sides of the "wood". Third, the mats are a mess. The corners of the mat cutouts have cross hair cuts and the the straight cuts are not clean. The paper is torn along the line. Fourth, this expensive frame is NOT wood. It's some kind for cardboard with a wood looking film laid over it. I don't even know the kind of shape the plastic transparent part of the frame is in because I can't stand the thought of opening this up anymore to find out what else is wrong. I have never been so upset with a purchase. I don't ever leave bad reviews and this one pushed me beyond my limit. I'm furious with the quality of such an expensive purchase. read more

Caveat emptor. I ordered online. My card was charged but I never received an invoice. After 2 weeks+ I had not received my items. I phoned, I emailed -- no response. Wow... just horrific. Thank god I did not pay for shipping. I went to their Brooklyn store at 2:10pm on Friday after calling to make sure my frames were ready. They close at 2 pm on a weekday. Seriously? A woman was luckily there and she gave me my frames. They looked completely different from the ones I ordered. I left them at the store and emailed the manager (as the woman asked me to do). The manager claimed the frames were correctly made. I said that maybe the woman showed me the wrong frames and asked for a picture of the frames that were made for me. At first he kept sending me a link to his website. When he finally sent me a picture, it was clear there was no misunderstanding and he was outright lying. I attached a picture of the difference between the ordered and created frames. He let me know there would be a 10% charge for returns. I guess ppl feel no shame being an outright liar anymore. I have to say that I was so disgusted by this business that I literally had to create a yelp account to warn ppl. No one should want to support a business with managers like this. read more

First time ordering from this place and I was very impressed. Being a college student with a budget and time constraints for certain things, I couldn't have chosen a better company to go through. Delivery was prompt and the price was very affordable--especially for the unusual and large size I needed. I will definitely be ordering from this company again. #ArtsToFrame read more

I ordered a frame as a gift for my husbands birthday. So, secrecy is key here. I knew he had a signed movie poster he'd been wanting to frame for years. I didn't actually know where in our apartment this poster was stashed. I try to get him a nice frame. Now, here's my bad: I assumed it was a standard-size movie poster. It's not. It's slightly larger. Problem one: even if this frame had been the right size, that all you get is a cardboard backing (and not the nice 2 or 3 wall stuff) is a complete issue. I'm ordering a nice frame, and I couldn't even choose a different backing when ordering. No option for the nice acid-free foamboard. Don't you think that people ordering a custom frame would want a little more than a piece of cardboard holding their art in? It didn't even really fit the frame, I was horrified and left hoping that this wasn't all there was to the back because it was so disappointing...but it was. I suck it up and email Art to Frames explaining the situation regarding me ordering a standard frame and not a custom one. I am told that they do not do exchanges, only returns/refunds, minus any shipping costs. This is fine because browsing their site I do see that they don't make frames as big as I need. The height of this poster is just a shade over what many sites consider do-able overall. Now, here's the problem I have with many online retailers: I do not get any sort of business/volume discounts when I'm shipping anything. I'm a person, an individual subject to no perks or discounts with any shipping carrier. To send this back to them, to get a refund, would at most (overall) see me with no frame and $15. At worst I'm spending twice what I paid for the frame to send it back so I'd be in the red quite a bit and still have no frame. I'd be paying them to take their frame back. To put it in perspective: they charged me $8 to ship it to me. The lowest cost I saw to ship it back to them was UPS ground at $65. Really??????? REALLY?!?!?!?! No, seriously. I don't doubt some of you have had good service from them because you didn't make any initial mistakes trying to be sneaky and surprise someone with a birthday gift. The returns are abysmal. I mean, I get it, they don't give a crap because they have my money and as far as they're concerned, all is well. The return policy is still illogical to the point where it feels like a rip-off. I guess that's what online reviews are for!! read more

I ordered an Instagram style print and loved what I received! I was able to pick the color of both mats in the frame and pick a frame that was perfect for my picture. There were so many options to choose from that I had no worry I would find something I liked. It actually was hard narrowing it down because of how many good choices there were! The first frame I received had long scratch marks on it. I received a replacement frame and it is dented and scratched worse than the first. God awful slow delivery. Poor communication. Constantly extend People's delivery dates even though their items were already due to arrive, but are late. Do not get their acrylic floating frames. Well, at least not large ones. It is the most stressful thing I've endured, trying to keep all of the dust and fuzz off of each side. It's practically impossible. Not to mention that the blue "protective" film is another pain in the ass. It doesn't come off easy, and best of all, it doesn't even do its job. Out of the many frames I ordered, all of them have scratches and blemishes, some much more noticeable than others. It's just a lovely sight, really. Hopefully my sarcasm is bearable. And to top it all off, actually installing these on a wall sucks ass, too. You'd think holding the frame up to a wall and marking the spots where each peg goes is a no-brainer, right? Well, unless you have the utmost pin-point accuracy of a robot, then your prints will have wobbled edges once inside. Or maybe it's the fact that the frames aren't flat, even when screwed in. This product is a fucking joke. read more
