They are super easy to care for-- like wash and go after using a bit of curl goo. The cuts grow out beautifully. I waited almost 8 months between & my hair still had a great shape. She really knows how to get the most out of your curls. Her cuts always make my hair look fuller. My curls actually curl and don't look like a frizzy mess. Basically, she's a curl master & also fun to chat with. I've also taken my teen girls to Megan. She has helped my younger daughter gracefully grow her hair out from a pixie to a bob and my older daughter (who usually despises getting her hair cut) loved having it cut by Megan & is so happy with the result! She went from long hair to shoulder length bob & its such a flattering cut! As far as the overall vibe at the salon, it's warm, welcoming & laid back. There's plenty of street parking-- mostly meters, but you can find free back on the side streets too. Summary: Aim & Ailie's is a gem! You & your hair should get over there ASAP. If your hair could talk it would definitely say 'Thank you!'

Fatah did a wonderful job and styled it nicely. Overall, a great experience without a multiple day wait and it didn't break the bank. I would definitely go back!

(Not sure if this is legal?) I would have never gone. And they said the cut was $70. I saw their prices online. No dry was $45-65. So I was charged extra for what? You greed squeezed my appointment in yet they say it's my fault? Anyhooo_ Just know what you are walking into.

First, some context: I Just finished my second round of cancer treatment a couple of months ago…read more The radiation part of the treatment totally fucked with the texture of my hair. My natural hair texture is super thick, but now I have patches of noticeably curly and thinning hair on the left side of my head and my "normal" hair texture on the right. IYKYK! After a couple months of patiently growing it out post-treatment, I looked in the bathroom mirror and realized that my hair is forever changed. Cancer is a chronic experience riddled with loss and grief on multiple levels. Sounds trivial in the bigger picture, but little things like this matter. I decided to take a chance on this salon and fortunately they had a same day appointment. That's where Quinten, my hair dresser, comes in to save me from my hair woes! After listening to my hair history, he somehow transformed my scraggly weeds to a haircut I'm happy with. And I don't think I've had someone so meticulous and detailed as he was. It's hard to explain, but it made me feel like myself again. So in short: Quinten is amazing!

I had so many photos and also wanted to make sure that my hair could substantiate it because it's curly. The salon talks about having diva curl knowledge and experience. A stylist should actually look at your hair and know If you can achieve certain looks. As soon as Jack started parting my hair like someone straight out of cosmetology school and started asking me if they should do this or that I should have gotten up but I didn't. This person finally ran out crying and I was so horrified I handed the owner or was it the manager? Whatever stayed behind. I handed $20 to her and I said give this to her and I felt really bad. But now I am horrified that this is what happened at that salon. I am now going to ask them to fix it but I am afraid of anybody there.. I don't know what to do. I would not recommend the salon but I'm waiting for the response from the owner... And frankly, that person handed me a card when I left and when I looked at it finally, there was no name on it. No information except a phone number for the salon. You would think at least somebody's name would be on there

It looked pretty terrible and when I got home I noticed spots where she missed hair. I had to go and trim my child's hair at home. If the woman said, "Sorry, I never cut hair before" I would have believed her. This place is cash only, which I wasn't prepared for. So I had to pay an extra fee at their ATM. Not the end of the world, but when I stepped into the vestibule to get payment, the woman gave my child candy without asking if it was okay. It wasn't. When I stepped back in to pay, the woman had walked away from the counter and never returned, leaving me to just leave cash there. Just cut your child's hair at home even if you have no skills. Tell me why I walked out looking like the back of a mushroom had a baby with a lampshade. My hair now has two distinct time zones, one for the upper hemisphere and one for the lower. I literally have a bob sitting on top of another haircut like it's doing squats. Hair done by Robin: The stylist said, "Trust the process." BABE, THE PROCESS FAILED. I trusted, and now I look like a Wi-Fi router with split ends. The top half of my head is giving 1950s housewife, while the bottom is giving disappointed poodle. People have stopped me on the street to ask if it's performance art. When I asked the stylist , Robin to fix it, she said, "It's edgy." No, girl, it's a crime scene. My reflection looks like it's buffering. I can't even tie it up because it looks like I'm wearing a helmet made of sadness. I showed Robin a picture of a sleek layered cut -- she must've thought I said layered cake, because she baked me something that defies gravity, taste, and basic hairstyling ethics. My friends have renamed me "Hairpod 2.0." My own mother asked if I lost a bet. Even my shampoo bottle refuses to acknowledge me.
