Where do I begin? The day before, Rima asked me all kinds of questions about what my skin looked like, what kinds of hair removal I had had (I have had laser hair removal before), and she sent me some informational videos. She was very informative over the phone and through text. She even told me where and how to park. When I got there, she started by first showing me around her home office, including showing me the equipment that she uses to disinfect everything, showing me that she had disinfected everything, both the space and the tools, and told me how to check to make sure that tools have been properly sanitized before use. She also explained exactly what needles and tools she would be using. Then the work started. The electrolysis itself was relatively boring, which is about as best as can be hoped for. After the session was over, she showed me some of the hair that she had pulled out (which was nice seeing how much was gone), applied cream to my face and then gave me ice to apply while she explained how to care for the treated area for the next couple of days. Then she explained exactly what happens inside of the skin when she does electrolysis, using one of those diagrams like they have in a doctor's office, and then told me what kind of needles she used. And then, she gave me a receipt which had not only how much the session was but also what needles she used, what modality she used, the settings on the machine, the treated area, and a few other things that I don't know what they are. And to top it all off, she referred me to a friend of hers because I wanted some work done that she doesn't do. I was so impressed with my consultation and first treatment with Rima that I have been back for 2 additional treatments.
