I had a great time visiting the Arrowhead Wine Cellars! The owner, Nick Mobilia, just happened to be in the fireplace room when I was there. Mr. Mobilia and his daughter Nikki shared all about the winery, and the many jobs that are performed there. Kayla K. was also there, and she is one of their assistant Wine Makers. It was a pure pleasure to visit and learn so much about the Mobilia family history. Everyone I encountered was just great! I left with a new understanding of the region, and what goes into their wine-making and juice business. I left with bottles of a new wine they have called "Unexpected" which was a project that Kayla did. I also came across some Root Beer! Chautauqua Beverages on the label with "Produced by Mobilia Farms Inc." I didn't have root beer in mind at all, now I'm a fan of that also! I will most definitely be back! Award winning wines line the walls, and prices are very reasonable. I recommend Arrowhead Wine Cellars with no reservations at all. Real people, awesome wines! NOTE: I don't think I would have had this great experience during the big wine tasting tours, I imagine things get very busy. During the drive home from our trip we took a chance on stopping by, So glad we made this stop to Arrowhead wine Cellars! This family owned and operated business was far beyond our expectations; Wonderful people! Had the opportunity to taste their delicious wine & it was AMAZING! We had a very large RV & they were very accommodating for parking & exiting. We even got to meet their famous dog Sophie! We will be back!! read more

Beautiful place. The wines were amazing. The staff were very knowledgeable and very friendly.

Visited today with my husband, my brother and his girlfriend. Not only were the wine samples reasonably priced but they were delicious. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. It was worth the ride and we will be back to visit again. read more

This cellar was one stop of many while we were winery-hopping around North East. Sadly, it was a quick one. Even if we had wanted to linger, I'm not sure the associate who was pouring our wine would have allowed for it. I've never felt so rushed to finish a wine sample. Wines were tasty, but the lack of friendly service meant we didn't buy much. Too bad for them, as we were feeling spendy. read more

Patty, one of the wine servers, was a witch. We walked in and asked about the wine list. She proceeded to act as if we were imbeciles and didn't know what wine was. Patty talked with a superior tone when we selected our wines cutting us off when we wanted to try another wine stating that it had to be in order. One of the most undesired atmosphere to be in, to where we chugged our wine like shots and left hastily. The other worker, we unfortunately didn't ask her name, she was a doll was helpful, learned our names, was extremely kind, and a sweetheart. (Had blonde hair) Heritage was the best wine place so far. Some of the wineries have a distinct "wine bus tour" feel to them, and this is one of those. We were served by an older gentleman who was pleasant and clever, but this was otherwise a stop I wouldn't repeat. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Arrowhead Cellars. The atmosphere is a bit kitschy but the quality of the wine more than made up for it. I sampled their Vignoles, Chambourcin, and peach wine, all of which were absolutely delicious. The attendant was very helpful and informative, and the bottles of wine were very reasonably priced. It is worth noting that Arrowhead does not offer tours. However, it is a wonderful place to go if you are just looking to do a wine tasting. This was our absolute favorite stop. The people were so knowledgeable and offered so many pairing suggestions. The port was the best I have ever had and there wasn't 1 wine that I didn't like. The staff was so much fun! This has become a place I have to stop at every time!!!! read more

Horrible horrible horrible service. The only redeeming factor is I had the family collection of about 2k to spend on wine for our reunion. and the family walked out. Poor Nick the owner is wonderful but Kathy was a nightmare. We were treated so badly I didn't spend it at all. We were not newcomers..for 5 years we have bought (family tasting) and about 1-2k of wine...this year we bought zero. We were told to stand 3 deep ...I never got one tasting... nor did 3 others because she couldn't get to us. But we couldn't spread out to the empty bar because she was saving that for walk ins....she had 1 couple come in. Very very disappointed. This was our first stop on Saturday and we were almost hesitant to enter due to the large amount of cars-in addition to a limo- in the parking lot, however, we were quickly made to feel welcomed as soon as we did enter. Now the first thing I noticed was the kitschy gift shop, unlike most other wineries in the area. I did notice they sold some food items, and my bf noted he bought a wine chocolate sauce from here before (although he has yet to use it) as well as a tray/drink holder combination that he says he uses quite often. We sampled all of the same wines, including: blueberry wine (very tasty and sweet), Vignoles (semi dry, light and fruity, hints of apricot-one of my favs here), Riesling (semi dry, fruity, hints of melon and apricot-an excellent Riesling!), vidal ice wine (usually it's extra but he did not charge us!), and Niagara white (very sweet and smooth). We sampled a sweet and hot pepper relish they had too and it was amazingly delicious with just the right amount of sweet and spicy. I was already familiar with the Arrowhead brand, however, I enjoyed the tasting and will be back in the future! read more

Nice winery. Large selection of wines in order of dry to sweet. It was $2 for six tastings. Although the tastings seemed a little smaller it wasn't a bad price at all. They have a great selection of 100% fruit wines (no grapes added). My mom loved all of the ones she tried and I had to buy a bottle of blueberry wine! read more

This was are second stop after the first one this would be hard to beat..with that being said I was disappointed this was more of a store then a winery. The attendant was not overly friendly just business which is ok if I was buying something else I guess. The wine tasted like medicine to me I couldn't get it out of my mouth yuck! read more

The wine here is fine, but the atmosphere feels like a gift shop with a little wine tasting area. The person who was pouring the samples was not very knowledgeable about the wine. If I was doing a tour of wineries, this place wouldn't make it onto my agenda next time. read more

This has become one of the worst wine cellars to visit. We've been visiting wineries for 10 years as part of our family reunion and Arowhead used to be one of our favorites. They are now cut from the list. We were treated so badly by the owner and I doubt they'll recover the sales that were lost today. 21 visitors spending 200-400 dollars per stop and nothing was spent here, solely on treatment and principal. So disappointing but many other great wineries to spend our money read more

Arrowhead was our second stop on our wine tour. The tasting room has an old country kitchen feel too it. My favorite part of Arrowhead was their fruit wines, made from fruits other than grapes. We bought a bottle of the raspberry wine and a jar of sweet hot pepper relish. Next time im in the area, ill be sure to stop at Arrowhead. read more

Let me start by saying I cannot say enough good things about this winery. It was our first stop of many & without a doubt the most informative with the best tasting & best pricing on wines. If I had only known how much better it was than the rest, I could have bought my stash there & been done! The staff was knowledgeable, cordial & most helpful to all.
