Was able to sneak up here for happy hour last night. This place is always a favorite as if we can get here early enough and sit on patio or bar we can totally afford it with the amazing prices for happy hour. Ordered and split a burger sandwich and fries. However the burger was overcooked and the sandwich was a little dry but it's still such quality we always enjoy it. The GM(didn't know it at the time) came around asking how everything was and we were honest. He was persistent that always let them know so they can make it exactly how you want it right away. We explained that we weren't looking to waste or complain as it's still delicious just being honest. They were so gracious and kind and we though rarely order dessert sent us home with their signature butter cake and ice cream on the house. Truly a gem on the west side that if you aren't from the area you may never think to go to because of its location. First off I have to start by saying my filet was absolutely delicious. Also, they have a very good wine selection. I am also very impressed by the service. So why don't I give it five stars? The place is very dated. This should be a white tablecloth type of place for the price you pay. The tables and the booths are old and need to be updated and the overall ambience isn't enough for a five star rating. They could give it a refresh and an update. I have to say, I've come to the arrowhead grill quite a few times now and while this may be a one off experience it needs to be talked about. Right off the bat i noticed the place was packed (likely due to it being restaurant week) however this should be no excuse for the food that was produced. I my brother and sister all ordered the $55 appetizers, steak, side, and dessert. First things first, the bread that came out was not only dry as horse feed but was most definitely reheated. The appetizer I chose was the meatballs and they were decent but nothing to rave about, matter of fact it reminded me of a hungry man's salisbury steak so take that as one will. Next was the 8oz New York strip steak. I my brother and sister all ordered it medium and they all came out WELL DONE. I'm talking gray and gray all the way through as if a kid was coloring in a cement sidewalk. It should also be noted that we received the steaks after an hour of being there (sat outside as well). This was followed by a manager visit and the steaks being remade in which they came back 20 minutes later and RAW as well as 2oz of FATTY CAP (see picture below). The manager claimed this is a problem with the lighting inside that's been the same for 10y (WHY HAS IT NOT BEEN FIXED IN 10y!) he also mentioned the lighting outside makes the steak look different which I won't disagree with to some extent. The broccoli side was decent and the butter cake was okay though the chocolate sauce on it needs to go. We didn't leave until almost 2h later and it was not a good 2h. The manager did comp roughly 50% of the bill but if I'm being honest for wasting 2h of our time and barely getting to eat should be a crime and 100% of the meal comped. read more

We celebrated our anniversary at the Arrowhead Grill. The service was amazing and the food was even better. We started off with crab cakes and had Chilean Sea Bass for our main entree. We finished our meal with champagne and butter cake to celebrate our special occasion. The restaurant was absolutely packed but that didn't detract from great service. We went last night for our anniversary and really enjoyed our experience! The table had some cute flower petals, the drinks were good, and the waiter was wonderful. We were impressed with all of the off the menus options he provided, which allowed us to enjoy the artichoke appetizer! The char on it was sweet and perfect. Artichokes are my favorite veggie so it was nice to get that for once. Our dinner was tasty however, I do wish my filet had more seasoning on the outside (even a little extra char). The Arrowhead Grill is a steakhouse located in North Glendale. I have no choice but to give Arrowhead Grill five stars for their Happy Hour offerings (3pm-6pm) because they exceeded our expectations and truly made us happy. They started us out with a bread basket of four different kinds of breads and butter. I enjoyed the A.G. salad with salmon cooked medium-medium rare. My salad was lightly dressed with lots of creamy goat cheese, pecans, cranberries, and fresh sweet pear slices. This salad ate like a treat. The burgers are really great here! (they. are fresh ground in house tenderloin tips) My husband enjoyed the A.G. burger. It was a massive sandwich. on a quality fresh bun packed with a perfectly prepared M/R burger topped with a slice of prime rib and crispy onions.....and it was only $12.99 (happy hour) Our server was amazing too. She was friendly and efficient and talked us into joining their e-club for some freebies now and then. We couldn't have been more pleased. read more

We've come to Arrowhead Grill a number of times including Easter, Birthdays and Happy Hour. AR does everything exceptionally well. Their servers are fantastic and their steaks are the best, as is their sister restaurant, Preston's. We've eaten in all the top steakhouses, and Arrowhead Grill is one of our favorites, along with Peter Lugers and Gene & Georgetti's. All the employees are exceptional btw. There was some confusion on one of our visits, which they fixed and made good. Our family entourage came away impressed. See the photos attached and decide if anything looks good for dinner this evening. May I recommend their 22oz Prime Rib and 8 oz Lobster Tail. Arrowhead Grill is Five Stars and you owe it to yourself to come here. Expect to pay about a "C- note" each, more if you add more goodies and Gratuities. read more

I eat at the Arrowhead Grill a few times a year, but I've never been there for Thanksgiving. The meal was amazing. They featured a special Thanksgiving menu for $69.99 per person. Dessert was an additional $7.99. I had the butternut squash soup, Caesar salad, sea bass, AG mashed potatoes and butter cake for dessert. I have to say, I was very impressed with this place as I was not expecting how great the food would be. There are not a lot of choices for higher end dining between Anthem and Peoria. So, I looked all over and found Arrowhead Grill. It was pretty well rated and when I walked in to meet a friend for dinner I saw the place was pretty packed. It was a Monday night which is usually not a great night for restaurants. Well, when I ordered a cup of onion soup and a 12 oz Filet with Creamed Spinach. The steak rivaled the best steakhouses including Flemings, Mastro's, Donovan's (no longer open I think) and others. IT was perfectly cooked and tender. Honestly, I was truly impressed and now want to be sure to come back with my wife. I am so glad to add a really nice steakhouse to my list that isn't in Scottsdale or far away. The place has been around since about 2010 and has been doing well...I now know why. My advice is add this to your list to try out. Sorry I don't have any photos but trust me it is good. read more

First timers here (table for two), heard about the 150$ Wagyu Tomahawk and had to reserve a table for my boyfriend's 40th birthday. The service was amazing, our waitress was incredible! Super informative and knowledgeable, she recommended some amazing cocktails. My boyfriend got the Vanilla Fig Manhattan that paired very well with his steak. THE FOOD! All of it was incredible, we started with the roasted artichoke appetizer, my boyfriend said it was 100/10 delicious. Then of course we had the Wagyu Tomahawk, which was honestly insane. It was 80% juice, you could eat it with a spoon or a straw for that matter. It had SO much flavor. I got an 8oz filet, which was very good but after having the Tomahawk it was only okay. Lol We picked the Au gratin Potatoes and Asparagus for our sides, they were both very good but just for reference if your expecting a more crusty augratin this is more thick sliced like wedges, smothered in delicious cheese. Very good, but very heavy so i definitely wouldnt recommend getting this and another cheesy side like mac and cheese. Asparagus was also very good and came with lemon, bread basket was also okay. Got the no bake chocolate cake for dessert and i swear it was made with some sort of wizardry. It was perfectly balanced with the malted whip cream and rasberry glaze. It also left NO sweet film or aftertaste in your mouth which is where the wizardry comes in. Lol Overall it made for a very special night, absolutely loved it. Will absolutely be returning here to celebrate for special occasions as this is indeed quite pricey, but you get what you pay for. All together our bill was about 320, left spending 440 which is what i had budgeted for so it worked out perfectly. read more
