Where other companies, including Renewal by Anderson, would have suspended the install until after I had another company deal with it, US Window Renewal went the extra yard. They took care of the dry rot immediately, I stalled the garden window, and repaired the stucco. The added cost was much less than hiring a building contractor and was completed without delay. I didn't need to live without the window but for a few extra days. The windows look great (see photos). Quality windows. First class installation...they even added a slanted sill below the garden window. They also stand behind their work Great warranty though I doubt I'll need to call them back. And guess what, they don't do that kind of work so he referred me to someone who does. I was ready to do replacements of windows and doors. He walked away from that bid. "I'd rather be honest" he says. What a breath of fresh air. This coupled with the fact that they always come in lower than Anderson and American Vision windows is reason enough to get a bid from them. Their Better Business rating and years in the business is the reason why you should hire them.

Project manager Mark Kobzanets took careful measurements, suggested options for windows from Milgard and Marvin, and gave us accurate estimates on lead times, especially for the octagonal window which required custom manufacturing work from Marvin. The price quote was competitive with the other companies we had solicited bids from. Mark also worked with the City of San Francisco building department on our behalf to obtain permits and inspections, as well as dealing with the city when some of our style choices were not acceptable with city regulations. For an existing window in need of repair, Mark told us how we could work with Milgard to get it replaced under warranty. Installers Simon and Yuri were very professional. They respected the property during the installation, expertly mounted the windows and doors including adding a structural post to the corner of the house. They also did exquisite craftsman work on the window trim. The windows look great, are quieter, and seal the house better. Never knew about life time warranty until last month, one of the window cracked. We didn't have any receipt or anything, just an email we did 14 years ago. We just contacted the company on their website and amazingly, they have the record by the address. The service department was so helpful, they contacted us and contacted the manufacturer to set up appointment with the case number to get it replaced. The windows were replaced 14 years ago in one day and we had many custom sized windows. The amazing thing is they know exactly which window that cracked by us describing the location of the window. Anlin Delmar (Milgard) called us and setup the appointment. They came and replaced the windows in a few hours. It was amazing and we're extremely happy. Now we know, go with the best and reputable company like Custom Exteriors and a good manufacturer like Anlin Delmar to have after service years after the work is done.
