Walked in to this place Aroma Perfumes today as I was walking around the mall and Macy's Christmas shopping the man that helped me was vary knowledgeable about the perfumes I was asking about and I myself am as well so I know he knew what he was talking about :) allowed me to browse the store and answered all my questions till I found the perfumes I was looking for that came in a lovely box set that I purchased (the Versace Dylan purple for women amazing fragrance). Went in for a specific cologne and was haggled by overzealous teens, they went pushing cologne like their lives depended on it.. I felt forced, rushed, and semi coerced into something I didn't want to. When I stood my ground and let them know I wanted to explore other options I sensed an attitude from one of the young men.. I ultimately walked out with nothing, don't force me into spending my money, make me feel like I want to spend my money with you.. This place to me was a joke. read more

I felt very welcome when I came into the store. I was very happy with my purchase, and the fact that the man knew very fast where to find the perfume I liked, and he was not pressuring at all. I walked out the first time and sampled it he welcomed me to come back if I liked it. I really love that there was no pressure in buying it. I'm so happy I came back The next week and purchased a purfume. It was a hot day and so he gave me water. I thought that was very nice. I went yesterday to get a cologne for my boyfriend and one of the male employees was trying hard to find me the perfect cologne, which was much appreciated. Then, he asked the tall skinny guy (he appeared to be the manager) to help him find me a cologne. He gave me Dark Sider by Glenn Perri and I fell in love with it. He said it was $60 but brought it down to $50. I always to my research and I looked it up while both of the guys (employees) who were trying to help me were there. The tall skinny guy starts telling me that items online are fake and that they sell the original product. He showed me the sticker behind the perfume and explained that their products are certified. I asked who certifies the colognes and he wasn't able to answer my question. After talking with him and trying to see if this product was worth $60 I actually found it at Walmart for $19.23. There have been multiple articles on designer brands being upset that department stores are selling their products for a cheaper price therefore it is not fake. The reason why you can find this perfume for so cheap is also because it has been discontinued. After I told the tall skinny guy that it was cheaper somewhere else he treated me disrespectfully. Never did I discredit "Aroma" colognes, he himself told me that their products weren't fake. It seems like he was afraid of me finding out that they overprice their items. I understand you have rent to pay put that doesn't matter to the customer. Me doing my research does not give them the right to start kicking me out of their store. This was my personal experience and I hope it is different for everyone else. I won't even be stepping a foot in "Aroma". They have terrible customer service and overprice their items. PLEASE READ: do yourselves a favor and purchase your fragrances across the mall at macys, where you have peace of mind for any customer service issues, pay the little extra and dont deal with shady characters, but if you do buy from here, make sure its real, priced correctly dont fork over $85 for something that sells everywhere else for 19.99. Today I had a really good experience at this business . First I want to say I made the mistake of going to Macy's first and purchasing colognes / perfumes . As I was leaving I walked past this location and thought maybe I'd find one more Christmas gift . See my piont exactly .......now u wanna make it seem like it was my fault ur product was bad when in fact u ur self changed the sprayer part u claim was damaged on to another bottle and it still worked perfectly so on that part ur only fooling ur self. Second of all the bottle was no where near 10% used I'll be happy to upload a picture for people to see for them selves how decetful u are and I said it was for my husband not my father but regardless of who its for it doesn't change the fact that ur products are fake and no good. I purchased a Dior Midnight Poison from this awful place. This perfume came out in 2007 and was a limited edition fragrance. Stores like Sephora and Macys no longer carry it. I have been searching for a replacement for one of the bottles I bought at Sephora back in 2007. When I found it here, I thought I had gotten lucky! Well that was not the case. When I opened the box, I noticed the box edges were roughly cut, as though with scissors (you, know because Dior does not have enough money to make straight cuts with machines!). The bottle was misshaped and the color of the cap was dark purple (not midnight blue as it should be). Worst of all, the perfume smelled too much like alcohol and had a strange smell. I immediately went back and tried to be nice suggesting that perhaps he did not know he was selling a counterfeit product and explained why. The sales person was rude and told me if I have any doubts to go to the Dior boutique and that his store's policy did not allow returns, only exchanges. So, when I came home, I compared the bottle I just bought to the perfume I bought at Sephora. And, I kept noticing all sorts of other things wrong with this perfume such as the duration of the fragrance, the color, and the font and style of the letters. I went back to the store to demand my money back with the THREE bottles I had bought from Sephora and the cr *p I bought here to show the sales person the difference and how the bottle he sold me was a counterfeit. He did not even bother to look and said that there was no way he would give me my money back even if the entire police department showed up and then called mall security. When the security people came, I explained everything and the security person told me there was nothing they could do and just told me to call the mall's property manager because other people had complained to them about this store and their fake goods. read more

This store has an amazing variety of perfumes, including some that I've never seen before that all smell awesome. You can't beat the prices either! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! I don't know who the manager is but he has to fire his employees and hire new ones as soon as possible. I was there couple weeks ago maybe Monday or Tuesday not sure but whoever was there seemed like he was forced to be there. I walked in not a greeting nothing anything!
