Walked in to this place Aroma Perfumes today as I was walking around the mall and Macy's Christmas shopping the man that helped me was vary knowledgeable about the perfumes I was asking about and I myself am as well so I know he knew what he was talking about :) allowed me to browse the store and answered all my questions till I found the perfumes I was looking for that came in a lovely box set that I purchased (the Versace Dylan purple for women amazing fragrance). I am vary happy with my purchase and will be back soon for more :) I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to purchase cologne /perfume for a loved for any occasion read more

Went in for a specific cologne and was haggled by overzealous teens, they went pushing cologne like their lives depended on it.. I felt forced, rushed, and semi coerced into something I didn't want to. When I stood my ground and let them know I wanted to explore other options I sensed an attitude from one of the young men.. I ultimately walked out with nothing, don't force me into spending my money, make me feel like I want to spend my money with you.. This place to me was a joke. read more

I felt very welcome when I came into the store. I was very happy with my purchase, and the fact that the man knew very fast where to find the perfume I liked, and he was not pressuring at all. I walked out the first time and sampled it he welcomed me to come back if I liked it. I really love that there was no pressure in buying it. I'm so happy I came back The next week and purchased a purfume. It was a hot day and so he gave me water. I thought that was very nice. He's very friendly man and I highly recommend that you buy from his shop. read more

I have gotten some great products at good or reasonable prices here. The customer service is good and they carry some hard to find fragrances which is a plus. They also have a good variety of products to choose from. I will definitely return and recommend this place to friends. read more

I went yesterday to get a cologne for my boyfriend and one of the male employees was trying hard to find me the perfect cologne, which was much appreciated. Then, he asked the tall skinny guy (he appeared to be the manager) to help him find me a cologne. He gave me Dark Sider by Glenn Perri and I fell in love with it. He said it was $60 but brought it down to $50. I always to my research and I looked it up while both of the guys (employees) who were trying to help me were there. The tall skinny guy starts telling me that items online are fake and that they sell the original product. He showed me the sticker behind the perfume and explained that their products are certified. I asked who certifies the colognes and he wasn't able to answer my question. After talking with him and trying to see if this product was worth $60 I actually found it at Walmart for $19.23. There have been multiple articles on designer brands being upset that department stores are selling their products for a cheaper price therefore it is not fake. The reason why you can find this perfume for so cheap is also because it has been discontinued. After I told the tall skinny guy that it was cheaper somewhere else he treated me disrespectfully. Never did I discredit "Aroma" colognes, he himself told me that their products weren't fake. It seems like he was afraid of me finding out that they overprice their items. I understand you have rent to pay put that doesn't matter to the customer. Me doing my research does not give them the right to start kicking me out of their store. This was my personal experience and I hope it is different for everyone else. I won't even be stepping a foot in "Aroma". They have terrible customer service and overprice their items. I'll just save myself the trouble. read more

PLEASE READ: do yourselves a favor and purchase your fragrances across the mall at macys, where you have peace of mind for any customer service issues, pay the little extra and dont deal with shady characters, but if you do buy from here, make sure its real, priced correctly dont fork over $85 for something that sells everywhere else for 19.99. Its laughable that someone is arguing with a reviewer on yelp like teenager, any reputable business would approach the situation professionally. Definitely explains a lot. Dont be cheap, where you buy is just as important as what you buy. 1 start because i had to read more

Today I had a really good experience at this business . First I want to say I made the mistake of going to Macy's first and purchasing colognes / perfumes . As I was leaving I walked past this location and thought maybe I'd find one more Christmas gift . After having a conversation with one of the employees and he showed me a couple samples , I was SOLD . I ended up leaving with 6 colognes/ perfumes . YSL, Gucci, Marc Jacob , ferragamo, jimmy chu . read more

Overpriced! Was quoted one price and charged a higher price! Was in a hurry that day and did not pay attention what had happened. Should have asked for a wrapped product. The cologne I bought was unsealed and was already missing cologne! It dosen't pay to shop while in a hurry! Beware of this store! Way overpriced, check online first! I payed more than twice the price of online cost! read more

After stuggling to find YSL Ultime at the other dept stores I found exactly what I was looking for and more at Aromas! Ali was so helpful and patient with me when I requested to look at other bottles and asked what he recommended as well. The price was unbeatable and I'm glad there are still people like Ali that know what good taste in fragrance is. read more

RUN AWAY!!!!! These people are crooks and I'm calling the Better Business Bureau. These people will take advantage of those who know nothing about fragrance retail. The fragrance is being sold for double even triple where you can find else where. Case in point a bottle Paco Rabanne Hermès they will tell you $85.00 for 3.4oz (insane) where else where $20.00, and then tact on there sales tax. Fucking Crooks read more

Worst customer service in the entire mall do not waste your money here they will not accept refunds and they don't tell you until get your receipt and see the fine print.. then their colognes are fake don't waste time here trust me you will save yourself from getting mad read more

FAKE, COUNTERFEIT PERFUMES! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING THEIR FAKE PERFUMES WHICH ARE NOT EVEN WORTH 1/10 OF THE PRICE YOU ARE PAYING AND COULD CONTAIN DANGEROUS CHEMICALS AND URINE (http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/ConsumerNews/counterfeit-perfumes/story?id=9670448). I purchased a Dior Midnight Poison from this awful place. This perfume came out in 2007 and was a limited edition fragrance. Stores like Sephora and Macys no longer carry it. I have been searching for a replacement for one of the bottles I bought at Sephora back in 2007. When I found it here, I thought I had gotten lucky! Well that was not the case. When I opened the box, I noticed the box edges were roughly cut, as though with scissors (you, know because Dior does not have enough money to make straight cuts with machines!). The bottle was misshaped and the color of the cap was dark purple (not midnight blue as it should be). Worst of all, the perfume smelled too much like alcohol and had a strange smell. I immediately went back and tried to be nice suggesting that perhaps he did not know he was selling a counterfeit product and explained why. The sales person was rude and told me if I have any doubts to go to the Dior boutique and that his store's policy did not allow returns, only exchanges. So, when I came home, I compared the bottle I just bought to the perfume I bought at Sephora. And, I kept noticing all sorts of other things wrong with this perfume such as the duration of the fragrance, the color, and the font and style of the letters. I went back to the store to demand my money back with the THREE bottles I had bought from Sephora and the cr *p I bought here to show the sales person the difference and how the bottle he sold me was a counterfeit. He did not even bother to look and said that there was no way he would give me my money back even if the entire police department showed up and then called mall security. When the security people came, I explained everything and the security person told me there was nothing they could do and just told me to call the mall's property manager because other people had complained to them about this store and their fake goods. read more

See my piont exactly .......now u wanna make it seem like it was my fault ur product was bad when in fact u ur self changed the sprayer part u claim was damaged on to another bottle and it still worked perfectly so on that part ur only fooling ur self. Second of all the bottle was no where near 10% used I'll be happy to upload a picture for people to see for them selves how decetful u are and I said it was for my husband not my father but regardless of who its for it doesn't change the fact that ur products are fake and no good. It was only $50 it's not about the money it's just that I dont think anyone likes feeling riped off and thats the point of me posting my horrible experience with ur store I'm obviously not the only one that feels this way I wish I would of read all the horrible reviews other people have of ur store before I made the mistake of buying anything from u. Its just not right to sell things to people under fals pretenses the products are damaged and after 20 min of spraying the smell is completely gone that would not happen with an original product in my experience. Like i said I will be contacting this mall's managment fake products shouldn't be allowed to be sold at malls I do beleve it is illegal to sell knockoffs. read more

I went in to this store at the last minute on Christmas Eve and ended up buying amazing gifts for my family. They were really helpful and gave me such a good deal I even bought something for myself. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! I don't know who the manager is but he has to fire his employees and hire new ones as soon as possible. I was there couple weeks ago maybe Monday or Tuesday not sure but whoever was there seemed like he was forced to be there. I walked in not a greeting nothing anything! I honestly left the store as soon as I can and went straight to Mayc's and yes I bought from there because they made me feel like they deserve being bought from unlike you people. Get your act straight before the only people you will be seeing in your store are your employees. read more
