This facial also stimulates collagen production and tones your face. It was a perfect pre-birthday treat for myself. Booking was easy on the website and all their services have a good description to determine what best fits your needs. I had to reschedule my initial appointment, and for that you need to call in. They send you a text reminder, and you must cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a fee. One special thing to note is if you book a service that's at least an hour, you receive a complimentary foot soak as long if you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This was a nice touch. When I arrived, Cristina, from the front desk walked me to their quiet room, which has the ultimate relaxation vibes. She was amazing! She had my foot soak ready to go, along with a heated neck wrap and a blanket. On top of that, she made me a delicious vanilla chamomile tea, accompanied by a chocolate. A literal pampering angel. My facial was done by Chasity. She was also so nice and she gave me plenty of time to change and get comfortable in the spa bed. She listened to my skin concerns and tailored the products for my face. Throughout my appointment, she explained each step of the facial. At one point I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. Before I left, I signed up for their busy bee membership so I can make sure to keep up with my skincare goals. Thank you, Lemon and Honey Day Spa, your staff was amazing!

What a sweet way to spend a day of pampering!

I've been coming to Mirako Spa for facials for years and have probably been here 10 times now. I…read moreoriginally found them through Groupon (great value around $70), but lately I've been booking directly with the spa even though it's around $90, and honestly I think it's worth it. It feels like they use even nicer products when booking direct, which I've really noticed in the results. The facility is always very clean and relaxing, the products feel high quality, and the facial massage is amazing -- one of my favorite parts. Service has consistently been great every visit, and I always leave feeling refreshed. Overall, a wonderful experience every time and definitely a place I keep coming back to.

I reached Mirako Spa in Brea for my facial appointment exactly 3 mins late. A lady who told me that…read moremy appointment was at 2:30pm. (I have attached text messages that my appointment was at 2:45pm). Upon showing the text message, she agreed that I was late by 3 mins. (+ 5 mins grace period). I was informed right away that I need to reschedule as I was late or cut down my facial time from 60mins to 40 mins. I should have arrived 15 mins before the appointment time. Therefore, my showing up delayed by 3 mins would delay the next client by 15 mins as they needed time to prepare for the next client! Math doesn't add up any way we look at it unless they had informed in advance to show up 15 mins before the appointment time, which they hadn't. 1. There was absolutely no notification or instruction provided to me about arriving 15 mins early before the appointment time at the time of making my appointment or text reminder. Therefore if one is late by less than. 10 mins, they lose their facial time by 20mins and are lashed out if clients try to reason out. I was told me to depart as I was 3 mins late or reduce my facial time by 20 mins. 2. Jenny, who came over from inside took over the conversation, was very unprofessional and rude. She argued with me for 15 mins non-stop when I tried to reason out that if I was late by 3 mins, if they wanted to be a stickler of time without informing me to arrive 15 mins early, they should take away 3 mins of my time not, 20 mins. She yelled at me saying "I don't want you to come here ever, I never want to give you service!". I don't understand how Mirako Spa even employs such people who are clueless about how to treat clients with courtesy, let alone working in a service industry. Here is the twist: when I checked in, another lady besides Jenny told me that my appointment was at 2:30pm, which their mistake to begin with as my appointment was at 2:45pm. It appears that they messed up with their own scheduling but because I was 3 mins late for my 2:45 appt, I bore the brunt of Jenny's unprofessional behavior as she couldn't admit that they had accidentally messed up scheduling my appointment. Instead she told me to leave or get a facial cut down by 20mins! I am attaching screenshots of my appointment time. As per Jenny, I should have a common sense to show up 15 mins before appointment time even though I wasn't informed about arriving early or else, appt that was anyway scheduled incorrectly by 15 mins sooner, from what I was notified. Try to avoid Jenny if you go to Mirako Spa in Brea, she can be scathing, unreasonable, and unprofessional. Try to reach 15 mins prior to your appointment even if they don't notify you.

Overall, I've had a great experience and continue coming back for a reason. The atmosphere is professional, clean, and relaxing. The treatment rooms have always been clean and organized, the front desk staff is friendly, and I'm always offered water. It's an environment where you can actually disconnect and relax. I've tried several massage add-ons, including hot stones, aromatherapy, and deep tissue, among others. There are plenty of options to customize your massage depending on what you need, and I've found the add-on pricing reasonable. I've also experienced quite a few of their therapists, so here are some recommendations: Maki is one of my favorites if you want firm pressure or have knots and problem areas that need serious attention. She knows how to get in there and work things out--you'll feel it in the best possible way! Lourdes is another standout and is extremely adaptable. She can give you a firm massage when you need it or dial things back for a more relaxing experience. She also offers prenatal massage. Arnold is another great option for firm pressure. For a more relaxing massage, I've had great experiences with Rosalba, Genesis, and Gabrielle as well. Everyone has a slightly different style, which makes it easier to find someone who matches what you're looking for. I also have to mention Samantha, who unfortunately is no longer at this location. She was probably my personal favorite. She somehow combined an incredibly relaxing massage with the ability to find and loosen areas that had been tight for years. I was genuinely disappointed when I had an appointment scheduled and received a call that she was no longer there. I never found out whether she continued doing massage elsewhere, but she was fantastic and deserves recognition. I've also had facials here and have been very happy with those experiences. My one area of feedback is last-minute scheduling changes. In addition to my appointment with Samantha, there have been two or three occasions over the years when I was contacted the same day or within about 24 hours and asked to change an appointment. I understand that people get sick and unexpected things happen, but I think offering a small credit--maybe $10 toward an add-on--when the business has to reschedule someone at the last minute would be a nice way to acknowledge the inconvenience. Overall, though, I'm very impressed with this location. The pricing is competitive and fair, particularly with a membership. You can certainly find cheaper massages elsewhere, but you're getting a different experience here: a private, relaxing environment with professionals who seem passionate about helping people feel better.

When I arrived, Tina was my massage therapist, and she did a fabulous job. I have severe lower back and neck pain from old injuries, so I requested medium pressure. Tina was spot on--I would describe the pressure as medium to strong, exactly what I needed. She also discovered a significant amount of tension at the base of my skull and applied firm pressure to both sides. That was an area I had never really considered, but it turned out to be a major source of radiating pain and headaches for me. Tina's technique was excellent, and her tempo and attention to pressure were just right. The facility was clean, peaceful, and quiet, with soft, soothing music playing in the background. I had a great experience and would highly recommend Garden Wellness Massage, especially if you're looking for a skilled therapist who really pays attention to where your body is holding tension.

I'm not walking with a walker yet, but my body's become rather tense because of some physical hobbies I took up this year. So why not get a massage? Luckily, Gardens Wellness Spa has a "Sports Massage" which combines different types with massages with stretches for the arms, chest, and legs. It was nice that I was able to get an appointment so quickly when I went to the website. It took less than an hour from booking the appointment to being on the table. Parking was ample, and the front staff was pleasant and welcoming. I was escorted to a dim room and given instructions to prepare myself before the therapist comes in. My massage therapist came in, introduced herself, and got to business. By the end of the session, I felt slightly better. The stiffness and ache in my back was definitely still present. But I wasn't expecting a full recovery after a 60 minute sessions so I didn't mind. I appreciated that she really tried using pressure on the back by literally using her entire body weight, because most of the massage therapists I get are significantly lighter than me, so I don't really feel much when they try to get the knots out. That being said, it would be nice to have an option online for a male therapist as I could have used more pressure on my back. The portion where you can book with certain staff members are only labeled as 'Therapist' for all the options. I understand from a privacy-focused perspective why they'd do that, but I never know who I' getting when I book with them. Decent service, would come back again if needed.

Usually when I stay quiet, massage therapists know to just let me relax. But this girl was too proud of her massage techniques and her work that she wanted to share with me all about it. But I don't care about techniques, just make me feel good. I talk a lot in job, so when I go get a massage for 90 minutes there should be minimal talking.
