This one is an easy recommendation. We were in the area for a couple of days and my wife has…read moreceliac. She really wanted to try Nono's. We got up early and headed over. It was well worth the 20 min drive. She tried a number of things. The blueberry pop tart was her favorite. She has talked about it for the last three days! The cinnamon rolls were great too. I waited in the car while she picked out some treats but she said the small cafe was cute and the service was excellent. If we find ourselves in the area again we'll definitely go back.

It's hard to tell it's vegan/df/eggfree/nut free and so on... Im comparing nonos to another famous one in nyc that I visit often and nonos is phenomenal. I wish I lived closer. It's a small place but it's adorable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The coffee cake was so moist, the cookie sandwich ONG I can't even explain- the cream was fluffy, but not oversweet which balanced the cookie out perfectly, just tried the blueberry lemon biscotti and also delicious- you can taste the blueberry but then this wonderful note of lemon stays behind on your palate, and then last I hot the chocolate chip cupcake need I say more . Honestly do yourself a favor and stop here. Even if you don't have allergies, my husband doesn't either and he loved the cookie sandwich.

The building is very low key with minimal signage and a regular solid entrance door. The place was redone and unrecognizable from its predecessor old school restaurant. The wood flooring from before still remains The dining area feels less cluttered with no more sofa & coffee table, less decor and no TV on the front wall. There are new tables and chairs and an updated counter area. The patio area is currently closed. The menu offerings include a variety of bowls, sandwiches, most dishes with hummus and tahini, plus baked goods including gunion flatbread, sweet poppy seed bun, soomsoom bun, & cinna-babka. I stopped by Mana Kitchen over the weekend. I was greeted as I walked in and had an idea what I wanted to order since there's a framed menu posted by the outside front door. I ordered the Chucky Khan ($21 plus tax) without the tahini sauce (they substitute lemon juice). My food was ready to go in 5 minutes after ordering and paying. The Chucky Khan entree was an excellent choice! This dish had very tender slow roasted beef in a sweet spicy sauce, which had great flavors, served with coconut white rice topped with sesame seeds, red cabbage, and Jerusalem salad with diced marinated cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, peppers & herbs. I thoroughly enjoyed this tasty dish!
