So then I asked if I could order fresh apple danish's (multiple because I know they can't just do one pastry) they said "No, we can't do that either. So then when I realized I ordered the wrong drink I asked could I switch it for the correct one and they replied, "No, we would have to charge you." Just wow.... The lack of professionalism and customer care was wild. I do not recommend this place to anyone. KEEP WALKING... Sincerely a very disappointed customer, @TheRealBrandee

Aroma Espresso Bar ... hmm.. what can I say. It's a coffee joint that sells decent espresso…read moredrinks, coffee, and sandwiches. Their brunch/breakfast items are OK. The places is pretty spacious so you can pretty much find good seating. They are not as busy here as it used to be. There are plenty of other places in this mall to go for coffee so that might be it. OR it could be the lack of decent service. I know we live in a digital age with an illuminated glass stuck in front of our face all the time, BUT not during work... PLEASE. Walked in. Look at the display menu. Disinterested young gal with her phone plugged into the wall (probably she drained the battery by gluing her face to the screen) looked up long enough to ask what I want. The annoying display changes menu items faster than necessary so it's difficult to decide. She then says, there are menus there - so go get it and look at it and bother me when you have made a choice - well that's what I think she said. And back to the phone screen. Again, coffee here is decent. The thick cut bread for sandwiches are good too. But wow... service is annoying. Oh ... Did I mention the other gal was so busy with her BF at the counter seating that she didn't once come to the service area as she was providing service to him only - so to speak? And for those who are startled by loud noises, the over head speakers that they use to tell us to pick up the food when ready... really LOUD!!! You know, they could have brought over our order instead of alarming us. And by this little gesture of service, it would make us feel less ripped off that we had to TIP before service. Really?!? Hate that! Oh... BTW... yes, she was still glued to her screen sitting off to the side. Her life in the digital world was more important than the people that helps pay her so that she can afford the electricity for her world. You know... most places don't allow this behaviour and demands that they only use their phones on breaks. I guess she really doesn't give a #$#@*(! And neither do I. All in all, going to go to the OTHER places in this mall. Jeers!

The space is inviting and airy with plenty of sunshine, and indoor and outdoor seating. They offer coffee drinks, pastries and sandwiches. Since we wanted to explore, we ordered iced lattes and a (seasonal) blueberry earl grey scone to go. The service was fast and friendly, and the lattes were quite good. I was really excited to try this place but unfortunately it was underwhelming. First the ambience:…read morethe space itself is cute but they don't allow anyone to sit inside with computers. It's apparently "laptop free". This feels like a silly arbitrary rule, especially when it's 100 degrees outside. I'm not deducting points for that, but like... let people sit inside and get a little work done. The staff were friendly, so no complaints there. The coffee itself was just.... not delicious. I watched the barista accidentally pour a little bit of frothed milk in my cup and didn't think to start the drink over. Instead he put cold milk on top of now melting ice and served it to me. The ice melting meant the drink was watery and the espresso was acidic. The vanilla flavor was non existent. It was a warm mess and poor excuse for an iced latte. We are in an affordability crisis and people are spending their hard earned money to treat themselves to coffee outside of their home. These businesses should put a little more care into what they're serving and ensure there's quality control. Don't rush the drinks, pay attention to what you're doing, and have a little pride in service.
