I never would have had them do the work they did if I'd realized that their estimate was so far off. I OK'd the estimate to begin with assuming that the problem would be fixed. I eventually went elsewhere to get the problem solved at a more reasonable cost. Also, I had them do an oil change and they put the wrong weight oil in my car. I just can't recommend this place. So i got my car in and I don't remember the guys name but he was mad cool and chill. He didn't give off that mechanic A**hole vibes, like he was that cool friend we all need in our lives to just shoot the s**t with. I think a lot of businesses are missing that type of interaction with customers; get back to the basic of plain customer service. This place was good about their service. So they got my car in, even though they had other vehicles they were working on. We talked about how the dealership was trying to get like $500 in an oil gasket. So he looked up his price for me and reasonable. Then later on, he showed me what was really going on with that pan and he said I would not even mess with that pan but you should definitely get a new tire. He showed me and explained to me what was wrong with it. I love that about mechanics bc some mechanics will not do that at all and their definition of things will be so complex.
