The main issue was the male employee who was working there the last time I went in. He was clearly having a bad day and took it out on the two customers who were in the bays, one of which was me. His demeanor and tone were really combative. I decided within 30 seconds of hearing him scream at the other customer that I was going to limit any interaction with him. The first conversation that occurred was the male employee essentially yelling at me because he insisted I HAD to bring my car in every 3000 miles and I was harming my car and it would be my fault when it broke down. I tried explaining that the recommended oil change mileage for the Equinox is 7500 miles when using synthetic oil. I brought the car in at 6000. He tried to mansplain to me about my own car. Don't automatically treat females like we don't know anything about cars. It's just annoying. The second incident occurred when I wouldn't take him up on trying to upsell me on the air filter. He started going on about how an air filter works and why I needed to buy a replacement. I remained silent and just let him keep going. He got mad and snapped at me "Do you even care?" I just replied to put the air filter back and I would change it myself at home. It also took 30-45 minutes for the oil change. There were two employees and only our two cars the whole time. It probably would have been quicker but the two employees spent a lot of time gossiping and joshing around. I'm not saying don't have fun at your job but it did have me wondering how much attention was being paid to my car.

Only needed one control arm and welded assembly. The Tierods were guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles. The MECHANIC guaranteed his work for LIFE!
