He even dealt with some spilled coolant in my backseat from a bottle that I kept back there. He was just awesome, efficient, thorough, and friendly and was done in about 2 hours. It was founded in 1965 in my home state of WI, specifically, Eau Claire (have fun pronouncing that all you non-Wisconsinites). It wasn't until 2003 that Kwik Trip introduced their Glazer Doughnuts. I couldn't find a lot of info on Glazers, but they appear to simply be the Kwik Trip version of a glazed doughnut. The Glazer that I got my hands on is a yeast/raised doughnut, covered in a sweet glaze, and has a chocolate drizzle on top. There's a pale/whitish appearance to the doughnut since the layer of glaze is so thick. With an appearance like that it reminded me a bit of a zebra or oddly enough, the Warboys from Mad Max. My glazer was satisfyingly sweet, and the chocolate drizzle was a nice touch as it was not simply for aesthetics, but did add some milk chocolate flavor. Warming it in the microwave for a few seconds elevated it to near Krispy Kreme status (aka perfection). Even though it's an ersatz Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut (to be fair, all other glazed doughnuts in my experience are), Kwik Trip's version is still tasty enough to be Doughboy approved My top doughnut shops: 1. The manager promptly took pictures of the 3 spots and said submit 2 estimates and they'd pay. I submitted estimates from a dealer and an independent shop. Sarah, the initially disrespectful and uncooperative corporate claims person at Woodman's, has put forth a whopper of lie denying any payment, even for what Woodman's does not contest (why?), saying that I seek payment for damages over the "entire" car, which is a bald-faced and easily demonstrable lie, and even the contents of Woodman's own file proves it is a lie, as do the clear terms of the estimates about 3 distinct areas (one in front and two on passenger side near front wheel and rear tail light, I bet nobody but Sarah the uncooperative claim denier at Woodmans would calls 3 spots the entire car). So now I am getting the runaround as Woodman's pretends it can't understand the clear terms of the standard estimates and rejects them totally (both of which call for the same work). Tomorrow they may let me see the carwash video- at one point Sarah of Woodman's actually blamed me for the damages their broken car wash caused! I am not optimistic about ethics and common sense sinking in at Woodman's. I know intentional shiftiness when I see it, I made a career out of dealing with bad actors in court, and no question Sarah and Woodman's are gonna stink the courtroom up if they don't wake up and fly right, and soon. Started having issues with a part on my Subaru called the VVT Solenoid. Apparently these issues are caused by using the incorrect oil. Even though the records show Woodman's used the correct oil, the mechanics at the Subaru dealership suspect this is not the case. This really shakes my trust in the Woodman's Gas & Lube Center and I will not be back as it has been a costly learning experience. If Woodman's thinks I'm lying, take it up with the crew of the Subaru dealership on 27th and Layton. Whoever was working on 3/29/25 at Woodman's, thanks for wrecking my car. *Also, their oil change prices are absurd now, so you're not saving any dough by going there.
