I've moved all my business dealings local since March 2020 due to COVID-19. I decided that keeping my money in my community was important to me. I wanted the local businesses to feel supported and stay healthy during the pandemic. The last thing I want to see, in my community, v is a bunch of boarded up abandoned businesses that went bankrupt for lack of support. My motto has become, "shop where I live!" I try to limit my spending to my County, my zip code, my City, and places where I can't easily walk. It's actually been kind of fun! This place fits all the criteria! The people at this shop are amazing! When a car wash broke my heating vent and the dealership wanted a ridiculous amount of money to repair it, these folks helped me out by finding a used part and saving me some money! I was so grateful! Little things means a lot to me. They've helped me out with other things. Air in my "suddenly" flattening tires. Oil changes when the service light went on and my appointment was later in the day than I could handle! They even called me to apologize for a customer they perceived had harassed me (he hadn't)! What chivalry!!!! I am amazed at the quality of service here! It really just blows my mind! Even the shop dog, Luna, greets you at the door as if she knows to make sure you feel valued! I heard a guy ordering 8 tires while I was there the first time. Repairing a flat tire on my car didn't make them money, but I still felt like a valued customer and the tire tech did a great job. Went back there yesterday to have my winter tires mounted and balanced. Scott recognized me and said "You're the guy with the BMW." I said "Yes." They were busy mounting truck tires again, but Scott got me in right away. I walked out less than an hour later with my tires mounted. I see no reason to go anywhere else for tire service.

The place stinks of cigarettes and the majority of the items in there have been in there for what seems to be decades without being moved or cleaned. The staff is very curt in their communication. I will continue to go here yearly for a quick emissions testing yet don't know about bringing my car here for repairs.

When I went to the place to pick up the "truck", they showed me a van. They had no trucks for rent at all. They quoted a low per mile rate on the phone and when I got there, it was $.60/mile higher than the quote. Then they tell me they close at noon so they won't be there when I get back, so I would have to come down another day to pay. But I won't be able to pay with anything but cash or check. I wasn't able to go pay on the Monday after renting it, so I get a call Tuesday morning asking me to come in and pay. I tell him I can make it today or tomorrow. He (the owner) says, "No, you will come in today to pay!" So in short: Quote not accurate Wrong vehicle quoted Had to return another day to pay No way to pay but with cash or check Very rude owner I will not recommend this place nor will I return.

Second, I get the place was very busy and perhaps short of staff so, the fact that I was there longer than anticipated can't really be held against them. I was given an appointment to come in for service as the day I called were unable to guarantee my repairs good be done in adequate time. I made the appointment and went in. I commend Terrell (?) for being very honest with me and communicating about how things were proceeding. They were able to do the service I requested as well as inspect other things-which was very helpful. I always feel like when it comes to mechanical and auto it is hard to really know or determine who is trustworthy. While I can't be sure the prices were competitive or that they would price match, I'd still like to believe they are honest and will try their best. I felt welcomed and valued. I would suggest at least getting their opinion or stop in and have an inspection if you are in need of repair and/or want a second opinion. I'd go back.

The service advisor was on the phone and asked did I want my receipt emailed and I agreed. After a half hour or so I had not received it. I called and was put on hold. I took the truck to a car wash in Menomonee Falls while on hold. I purposely stayed on the on hold. I returned to the store while I was still on hold and I was asked by the service advisor how can I help you. I replied I'm still on hold. My receipt was printed then. The total amount came to over $3400 and did know why I needed parts I knew nothing about. A few days later I noticed puddles of oil on my driveway. I took it back for them to get it right. They had the truck for about two weeks just sitting there. I called and I was told it needed a valley pan. A few days after getting my vehicle back I still noticed puddles of oil on my driveway. I called and was told to drive it for 3 weeks to see if it will clear up. I was told by a reputable mechanic a few drops is common not puddles of oil. A few hours later my dashboard indicated I needed to add oil because it was critically low. I added multiple quarts of oil and now I have another appointment. My vehicle is tied to my livehood because it is a commercial vehicle and I must have my truck available to make a living. I feel they are not being truthful with me. I'm seriously considering legal action. I already posted on Google. My next post will be with the BBB and Contact 6. This is the Brown Deer Road location. Hopefully they will get it right after 3 visits in less than 2 months for this on-going issue. I will be forever done with their shop and will not recommend them to anyone. I paid for a diagnostics report at a engine shop and he noticed a lot of negligence and documented his findings and showed me live leakage and deviations from the standards guidelines for mechanics making repairs on vehicles. He noticed some of the same part numbers from the same parts store that supplies him was doubled from the costs he pays for the same exact part.He also noticed hours on one repair that was supposed to be charged at under 2.25 hours was charged at 11 hours. Suggested parts for repairs weren't used but inferior materials were used instead for the repair compromising safety and increasing liability.
