The marketing manager reached out to apologize and offer a discount which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the shop staff have shown they don't have integrity and as a result have broken my trust. I am not going to let people I can't trust to work on my transmission. I am not going to tolerate this lack of professionalism.

I arrived a few minutes early today only to be told by an employee (who I think was the manager on duty) that they were only taking drop-offs because the wait would be at least 2.5 hours. I thought he misunderstood, so I clarified that I had an appointment, to which he rudely replied 'so do a lot of other people', and something about being short staffed. He also blamed the "A-rab's" (his pronunciation) that work at the call center for the scheduling problem. Throughout the whole interaction he never apologized and was downright rude to me, as if I was the unreasonable one for expecting to have my service done at the appointed time. I should also mention that I received no less than three text reminders about what time my appointment was, but no effort was made to inform me that it couldn't be honored. I was told I could bring my car back at 2:30, which I initially agreed to, but then re-thought. Called up another local shop that got me in right away and charged less than the last time I had this service at Monro. Will never be going to Monro again!
