Neighborhood gas and service station, but I will not buy my gas here ever again. I've been putting gas in my car using pick n save loyalty points, for many years. I ran the pump which had signed in and confirmed my loyalty discount at .10 a gallon for regular gas. I only use regular in my car. I filled up over 16 gallons and looked at the price of $71.44 !!! Shocked I discussed with Wally at counter, he said nothing he can do. You must've hit the wrong buttons. Come back tomorrow and talk to the owner. So I did. He said maybe the hose hit the premium button when you dragged it to the car? That happens sometimes. I said no... the pump confirmed my loyalty discount at $3.39 a gallon and THEN I filled up. He said well there's nothing I can do... you got premium gas and we can't take it out of the tank. Wish I could do more! I said I am not the guy that wants to screw you out of 17.00 in gas money, you have a glitch on pump 5. I won't be coming back to this station because you don't seem to mind screwing me for that $17.00 gas money. Anyone else have this happen to them at this station? I mean, a small gesture of acknowledgement that I was telling the truth could have changed the outcome here. But my weekly fills at that station have come to a final and screeching halt. I went here because my check engine light came on and someone from work recommended them. I should have walked out as soon as I walked in here, the owner acted like I interrupted his breakfast that he was eating even though I had an appt for my car. I told him what I was there for and he didn't say anything just handed me some paperwork to fill out, very RUDE. Went to pick up my car later that day when it was supposed to be fix, went to leave the check engine light came back on. The mechanic told me to drive it around and if it didn't go off to bring it back the next day. When I called to get in the next day they said the mechanic was out of town and couldn't get me in until the following week. The owner made no effort to try and get me in sooner or offer another mechanic to look at my car. Took it in the following week, they thought maybe it was a bad coil and spark plug they replaced, kept it the whole day and drove it around. Picked it up and on my way home check engine light came back on. Called them and they acted annoyed with me like it was my fault that they can't figure this out. When I went to take it in the next day the owner again was NOT FRIENDLY, even though this is the 3rd time I have had to bring my car back. Needless to say they called me and told me that they tried everything and suggested going to the dealership to have it looked at. When I asked for my money or part of my money back they said they could put the OLD COIL in my car and give me part of the money for that, since they had done some of the work. Which to me makes no sense whatsoever. When I went to get my car the owner said nothing to me didn't even look at me when the Lady (nicest person who works there) handed me my keys. No apology, nothing. Unfortunately I am out about $500 and still have to get my car fixed. read more

I had just started my new job, that day. About a half an hour commute from my house in South Milwaukee. On my way in for my first shift I heard a clunking. I may uttered a few expletives under my breath, but I made it to work. The clunking persisted and on my drive home. As relieved as I was to have made it home I was filled with dread about having to make the trip again the following morning. I quick looked on Yelp to see if there were decent reviews for automotive shops within a short distance from my home. I found Grady's. I called and explained my situation. "Is there any way you have time to get it in today?" The super friendly lady I spoke with put me on hold for a moment. "How soon can you get here?" She asked. 15 minutes later I walked through the door to be greeted by two super friendly folks behind the counter. The first thing the lady said was "How was your first day on the new job?" Just over an hour later I was back on the road, sporting a brand new wheel bearing. These folks are kind, courteous and genuine. I was so impressed by not only their willingness to squeeze me in, in the middle of a Monday no less, but they were totally fair and affordable. I've been burned by sheisty dealings before where my vehicles have been concerned. So the wonderful folks at Grady's have definitely earned themselves a long term customer. I just hope I don't have to see them again too soon. read more

I stopped at Gardy's on a Monday afternoon to have a brand new tire repaired (Slow leak in tread). I was told by the woman behind the counter they could not fix the tire that day before closing (which she told me was 8pm). I said that was fine as long as I could have the tire fixed the next day. I said call me me the next day when ready. At 3:45pm the next day I still had not heard from anyone at Grady's that the tire was ready. So, I drove over there. When I got there I was told the tire was not ready, I asked why not? They said they were too busy to get to it and asked when I needed it. I said I needed it now as I was told when I dropped it off the day before that it would be fixed on Tuesday. I was perturbed that the tire was not fixed! The man behind the counter told me they would fix it right away. Five (5) minutes later the tire was fixed ( although they were too busy to take the Five (5) minutes to fix it all that day. Why were they able to fix it in Five (5) minutes at 4 o'clock in the afternoon - because they put a plug in my brand new tire. Who wants a plug in a brand new tire? I don't. Plugs are dangerous. I wanted the tire fixed properly which would require the tire to be taken off the rim and patched from the inside. That's the proper way to fix a tire! Especially a brand new tire! No self-respecting mechanic would plug a brand new tire. A PLUG IS DANGEROUS! I was treated disrespectfully by the man behind the counter and the mechanic that plugged the tire (Without telling me he was going to plug it). I will, never use Grady's again - for anything! I won't buy gas there - I wouldn't even let them shine my rims. They charged me $20 to wreck my brand new tire - a $160.00 Cooper Discoverer AT3. read more
