However, when I went to go to the place that I trusted to do my breaks, they said one lug nut from every tire was completely stripped. Tires Plus stripped one lug nut from every tire. I go there because of the convenience to where I live. Also, my company pays the bill directly so it's also financially beneficial for me. No money out of my pocket. I do see a lot of employee turnover but which service-centric business doesn't see that nowadays. They follow a procedure calling out what they have done so others working on my vehicle know where in the process they are and which stage has been completed. This is important. You don't want them to start adding oil when the drain plug hasn't been secured. So, while my experience might be different from others who have rated them poorly, I am so-far happy with the service I receive and hope it continues.

Let me say this very clear...I've never been so disgusted and disappointed with service. I've ha d a lot of repairs in my lifetime and this was the worst, by far. It started right after I dropped my truck off and agreed on a price to have a repair on my front-end. Thereafter, 3 things were broken by them and my bill rose rapidly! Yes, after going back and forth with the manager, he wouldn't budge... I'd have to pay for the damage-broken parts. Really? It felt like the old switch and bait... get the customer in and find a way to increase the bill. After all that that, I went to pick up my truck the next day and there was so much wrong, I couldn't drive it home!! Yeah right, couldn't drive it home and the vehicle was in their possession less than 24 hours. That was alarming! When I finally went back to get it, I drove it off the lot and barely had any brakes. How reckless on Midas' part. Calling customer service was complete joke. It took 4 times to call to finally get a call back to express my complete disgust. I finally did talk with a manager two weeks ago and I'm still waiting on a return call. That shows what they feel about me as a customer. Don't go there if you don't have to... otherwise the joke will be on you! if you decide to go ...pray first, buyer beware.

The service advisor was on the phone and asked did I want my receipt emailed and I agreed. After a half hour or so I had not received it. I called and was put on hold. I took the truck to a car wash in Menomonee Falls while on hold. I purposely stayed on the on hold. I returned to the store while I was still on hold and I was asked by the service advisor how can I help you. I replied I'm still on hold. My receipt was printed then. The total amount came to over $3400 and did know why I needed parts I knew nothing about. A few days later I noticed puddles of oil on my driveway. I took it back for them to get it right. They had the truck for about two weeks just sitting there. I called and I was told it needed a valley pan. A few days after getting my vehicle back I still noticed puddles of oil on my driveway. I called and was told to drive it for 3 weeks to see if it will clear up. I was told by a reputable mechanic a few drops is common not puddles of oil. A few hours later my dashboard indicated I needed to add oil because it was critically low. I added multiple quarts of oil and now I have another appointment. My vehicle is tied to my livehood because it is a commercial vehicle and I must have my truck available to make a living. I feel they are not being truthful with me. I'm seriously considering legal action. I already posted on Google. My next post will be with the BBB and Contact 6. This is the Brown Deer Road location. Hopefully they will get it right after 3 visits in less than 2 months for this on-going issue. I will be forever done with their shop and will not recommend them to anyone. I paid for a diagnostics report at a engine shop and he noticed a lot of negligence and documented his findings and showed me live leakage and deviations from the standards guidelines for mechanics making repairs on vehicles. He noticed some of the same part numbers from the same parts store that supplies him was doubled from the costs he pays for the same exact part.He also noticed hours on one repair that was supposed to be charged at under 2.25 hours was charged at 11 hours. Suggested parts for repairs weren't used but inferior materials were used instead for the repair compromising safety and increasing liability.

I commend Terrell (?) for being very honest with me and communicating about how things were proceeding. They were able to do the service I requested as well as inspect other things-which was very helpful. I always feel like when it comes to mechanical and auto it is hard to really know or determine who is trustworthy. While I can't be sure the prices were competitive or that they would price match, I'd still like to believe they are honest and will try their best. I felt welcomed and valued. I would suggest at least getting their opinion or stop in and have an inspection if you are in need of repair and/or want a second opinion. I'd go back.
