Good example, I was leaving a gas station and forgot to take the gas pump hose out of the nozzle, and pull it off the pump. Shortly after I started getting a check engine light. I had deformed the threaded threaded insert for the gas cap. Went to the dealer and they were just befuddled ended up quoting me an entire new gas tank for several thousand dollars. Took it to Jeff He worked up a little die but he was able to insert and straighten out the threads and I can't really remember what he charged me, I think was less than $100.
