Bayshar is the absolute best. I usually have my friends fix my cars unless it's too big of a job or timing. I tend to have trouble when taking my car to shops due to being a younger woman. Most places will try to oversell me, or say more things are wrong just to get a couple extra bucks. Not Baychar! They are honest, hard working people and deserve every penny. Baychar is awesome! I have gone to many different mechanics for my car. Some which would blow off the problems that occurred after a certain service was done. And even after I made it known my car was running differently would still tell me nothing was wrong. Or even out right lie to my face. In the world of good business or in life when you make a mistake you should own it. Honesty is always the best policy. Anyways Headache after headache. Baychar on the other hand has an impeccable reputation for good reason. Within a couple of hours of taking my car there they were able to diagnose the actual problem and came up with a plan of attack to get me back on the road ASAP. In my opinion they are by BY FAR the best. Not only are they extremely kind and gracious but they take pride in every car they work on. Mine included. Being thorough is a trait lost on many. Not at Baychar. Leo(the manager) makes the customer feel important and like their car is an actual priority. Integrity is hard to find in life yet alone dealing with mechanics or auto dealers. I've been coming to Baychar since 2012, with an Oldsmobile Alero, Chevy Aveo, Chevy Sonic and now my Hyundai Tucson. I come here because growing up, my family has recommended it and I've always lived in the area. I've never had my cars serviced at a big brand shop and never will, as long as Baychar is around! Leo is my favorite person, he's always so kind and friendly and I never feel ripped off. As a woman, you hear a lot about being scammed- but I feel confident, comfortable and familiar with Baychar. My husband has even made the switch and now comes here. I love even more that our dog is always welcomed, so when it's too hot to walk him while we wait, he can sit in the a/c with me. read more

No one likes bringing their car in to get work done. It can be one of the most annoying, nerve racking, expensive, confusing visits to a local establishment that you will make. Baychar makes it easy and painless. They are an honest repair shop with great customer service and they offer their services at a fair price. I called four local repair shops to get quotes for service before selecting Baychar for my bearing replacement. Baychar offered the lowest price of the four, which was one of the biggest reasons why I selected them to service my car. They were also very friendly, and they were the only auto shop that offered me a quote immediately as I waited for a minute or so on the phone. The other shops said they would call me back with a quote, one of them taking just a few minutes, another called a few hours later and the fourth didn't get back to me until the next day. The last big reason why I selected Baychar is because they didn't immediately try to sell me unnecessary services. Luckily, I already knew what the issue was; I needed a bearing replacement. The other shops all told me I would probably need a hub kit replacement as well, which would have brought the cost up significantly. When I asked the guy at Baychar about this possibility, the technician responded that I will most likely not need that replaced as a hub kit replacement is usually only needed when a bearing issue is accompanied by a high pitched squeal, which I did not have. He said they will check it and let me know for sure once they get it pulled apart. Other shops also tried to tell me I would need both front bearings replaced, while Baychar recommended I wait and see if there is a problem with it after the other one is fixed. Baychar called me once the repair was finished and said that there was no need to replace the hub kit or the other bearing at this time. The service was great, and they were very accommodating with vehicle drop-off and pick-up. Excellent customer service all around and a very good experience provided auto repairs are never fun. read more

My 2008 Chrysler needed computer work done, via the check engine light coming on. I was told by several local auto services, that it had to be done at the dealership. With that, I had an estimate which exceeded $900.00. Obviously, not pleased with that result, I called Leo at "BayChar", and found out that they could take care of this need, for $300.00 less. Needless to say I opted in, and the repair was completed flawlessly. In actuality, I have used other entities but have never gotten the complete satisfaction derived when returning to BayChar for my automotive needs. absolutely incredible shop. they are straight forward with what's wrong. don't try to sell you anything extra. staff is extremely friendly. they even supply you with a loaner vehicle while yours is being worked on, as long as you are fully insured. i recommend this shop to everyone in the milwaukee area. i'm going to miss this shop when i move back to florida! thanks again Baychar!! read more
