I had a great experience with Armina Stone while remodeling my kitchen. The showroom has a large variety of stone and the employees were very helpful in showing me all the options available in Quartz. With the help of the staff, was able to select a Quartz that was the perfect style for my kitchen. After my selection of stone, Armina was very quick in scheduling a time for my kitchen countertops to be measured. I was scheduled to start at noon, and the measurer was extremely punctual. After the measurement, my countertops were fabricated and scheduled for install just one week later. The crew that delivered and installed the countertops were punctual, friendly, and professional (and strong!). The countertops were installed in a little over an hour. I needed one seam to get through my doorway and you can't even tell where they had to put it. The countertops look absolutely beautiful and could not look any better in my kitchen! Our experience with Armina Stone was awful. After choosing a beautiful Quartzite slab, it went downhill fast. We had 3 installs, and ended up with removal and a refund. First install; the countertop was damaged, and the seam looked like two different stones. They agreed and said they would do a replacement. Second install; it did not match the rendering we approved at all. The veining at the seam was approximately 2" off. They agreed and said they'd do a replacement. At this point the slabs we chose were used up and had to make an appointment to choose from other slabs. Third install; 1/4 of the stone was not leathered! 3/4 of the countertops were leathered, and 1/4 shiny! Between these admitted mistakes, there's more! We ordered a shelf to be made for above the cooktop. Only one side was finished, the back was cut crooked, and I had to drive it to Cheswick to be completed. We had chose a different stone for our island. It was supposed to be installed at the first appointment. They did not have it. No one could tell me where it was or what happened to it for 3 days. (it had been scratched and needed to be resurfaced) In total, we had 7 appointments. Measuring to removal. 2 of the 7 were with in the 4 hour time window they provide. 5 times we scrambled and rearranged. 3 botched fabrications, 5 unhonored appointment windows, and numerous "what is going on" emails later, we asked for a removal and refund, which was honored with an "ok". No apology. From date of first install to removal it was close to 60 days. We had no sink, dishwasher, or cooktop. This held up, plumber, tile and paint. I will say the team of installers, project manager and the showroom are very nice. I was very patient and understanding of the issues and mistakes. However, they do not reciprocate that mindset. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. They brought the wrong stone twice and no-showed on delivery twice as well. No one at the company ever apologized and they don't return calls or emails. Best thing you can do is use someone else. A Frustrating Experience from Start to (almost) Finish We selected Armina Stone through our contractor, who had an existing account with them. This was our first experience working with Armina, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing one from start to finish. We have felt misdirected, unimportant, and completely ignored throughout the process. This is our Armina experience. Planning Issues: We selected a granite slab on February 12 and waited for Armina to schedule the measure. The first appointment was set for March 24th but was missed when their team went to the wrong location. It was rescheduled for April 11, but that date was also missed. On April 18, we were informed that the stone we had chosen was mislabeled--it was marble, not granite. After discussions with our sales rep, Taylor, we reached a resolution and had our site measured on April 21. Scheduling Issues: On April 25th we approved the Armina layout design with images. However, we noticed Armina's final drawing reflected 14 square feet less than originally quoted--an overcharge of roughly $1,400. We had to dispute this with our credit card company to get it refunded. Then, in the afternoon of our scheduled install on April 28, we were informed the stone had been damaged and would need to be recut. The installation was pushed to May 6, and then again delayed to May 13--eventually taking place on Saturday, May 10 only after we expressed frustration. Execution Issues: The completed installation showed a seam where the grain direction was reversed--contrary to what we had approved--and the seam itself was poorly done and visibly discolored. A back insert behind an appliance was also cut too small, preventing us from fully opening our grill hood. Resolution Issues: Armina scheduled a replacement piece for May 21, then canceled due to weather. It was rescheduled for May 30. While the piece was replaced that day, it was still too small to resolve the problem, the hood still hit against our bar top when opening. Our contractor repeatedly tried to reach the project manager, Tim, with no success. Tim eventually said he would visit our home the following week, but as of June 6, we've heard nothing further. This experience has been riddled with miscommunication, delays, quality issues, and lack of follow-up. We cannot recommend Armina Stone based on our experience. We bought quartz from Armina through Home Depot, which apparently they don't like even though they choose to use them as a vendor. When being installed, the installers opened my screen door so hard they ripped it out of the frame. There was one seam in the counter, even though it could have been one piece. There are 3 veins running in a straight line through the seam and all 3 are about 1 inch off from each other. This was a mistake on the cutting, as the person lining it up clearly misaligned it. When I called about it, Armina took 2 days to deliberate what to do, as they clearly knew it was their fault, and then decided to tell me that because i didnt pay extra for a 2D drawing that I had to live with their mistake. We had to use Amina stone to install countertops through Costco. Not even a year after install (5 months to be exact), the sink they installed while installing the countertops separated from the granite. At this point, I've called no fewer than 4 times to talk to a person about getting this fixed and NO ONE has called me back. We have a young child at home and the sink is on its last leg. Consider this your warning, once you pay, they won't honor the workmanship guarantee and won't call you back. read more

Very happy with the stone we bought for our kitchen counter and back splash. Very unhappy with the crack behind the faucet. They call it a fissure. Customer service not helpful. They like to use "industry standard" often. Was told they would make the seam we had to get meld nicely to the rest of the counter by having a staff member paint and use his expert artistry. We were sent by Tri County Kitchens to choose our granite countertop. Jake waited on us. He was willing to give us all the time we wanted to look, look again, narrow our choices, and finally pick. He told us to take pictures of the slab and its tag. They came out and measured after our kitchen was installed. A week after measuring, the countertops were installed, which was a great turnaround The installers were efficient, and the tops fit perfectly. My husband and I questioned ourselves if it was the granite we picked as the one we picked had some blue and pink in it. When questioned , we were told that the name of what we picked and the name on this were different, but the same granite goes by different names, so it was the same. Why take pictures of the stone and the tag with the name if it goes by different names? I'm still not sure if it is what we picked. read more

Scheduling with Armena was an issue from the beginning, especially since other work depended on countertop measuring ..backed us up into vacation...lost a day...when they installed, in a hurry...seam was rough and very noticeable ... notified Home Depot and Armena...man that came later ...I thought, to fix...told me quartz is man made and that's it. Used Armina Stone through Ikea and ran into many issues I'll list here: 1. Installation of our quartz countertop was delayed due to a system payment issue with Ceasar Stone which ended up with the slabs for the counter top not delivered in time. 2. The installation date was pushed back once again since they broke the countertop while cutting it at their facility. 3. The installation of the countertop resulted in cracks and gaps due to bad templating. 4. The sink was meant to be an undermount but the incorrect hole was cut forcing us to go with a drop in. 5. Customer service is extremely unhelpful and does not have the power to resolve any of your issues. 6. It is difficult to interact and relay the necessary information to the on site installers and templaters since they are not very proficient in speaking English. Absolutely horrific customer service. They gave away the slab we chose, causing my husband to leave work and drive an hour to pick another 4 days before installation. The guy that came to our house to measure insisted he didn't need our sink. 3 days prior to installation we get a call asking us to meet someone with our sink. Um, no! You come and get it! Today is installation day and they give you the courtesy of telling you they'll come "in the afternoon between 12-5", no real time window. It is now 2:22 and no one is here nor has anyone communicated what time they will be here. Call the office, and they do nothing to get you an answer. Never again! If you want a countertop, RUN the other way! UPDATE: No communication even after speaking with Monica who was supposed to get us an ETA of installer. Not only did she not update us, she never even bothered to call back. Installer showed up at our house at 6PM on a Friday night! Really?!?! We already left home thinking no one was coming. When we called they had their team come out and determine it was defective and said it was warrantied. We have called numerous times asking when the warrantied replacement would be installed. They kept saying they would call us back with a date and time. For 10 months we have been patient. I was told today that they no longer do business with the provider that we ordered the countertops from and it's that company's job to provide the warrantied countertop. From the beginning it seemed difficult. Then it just got worse. The bot they email you with, then The horrible installation crew I had that said the stone was bad so didn't finish installing and I waited another month for replacement after they had to put a claim in with Caeserstone. Ok a month later they scheduled install #2 to be told the day before the stone never arrived and don't know what happened. Second installation another week later finally happened and still forgot part of the order for under the window while they said the first stone was fine actually and needed more shimming. My level of disgust is just too great to even like the final product. Oh and it is a small kitchen and a 6k countertop so I just expected far better. Beware and shop around- I had no choice as I used Home Depot who subs them sadly. read more

I went through Costco to buy new countertops for my kitchen update. I've used Costco before and they were fantastic. However, they are now using Armina Stone as their subcontractor. I would never ever in 1 million years choose Armina Stone again. The process has been an absolute nightmare. We are already more than two months past the initial completion date and the installation is still incomplete and was just pushed out yet another week. Part of my installation included a backsplash is that had numerous significant sized chips. The install team had to see them because they caulked over them and they left it like that anyway. It has been a horrendous experience, and after they are finally done installing (if that ever actually occurs) I will be reaching out to Costco with a complaint. Armina has absolutely the worst scheduling department. They told me an afternoon install then showed up at 9am. Thankfully I have a flexible work schedule. I called the company for them to alert the installers I will be home in about 20 minutes and by the time I got home everything was installed. I asked specifically to not start until I (the homeowner) was present. Never happened. Thankfully I was home to check everything and noticed caulking needing address to prevent water from going under the countertop. Not to mention, excess dried epoxy left on our bathroom vanity from their previous install. Terrible logistics team, terrible schedulers, and sub-par installers. We well overpayed going with Armina and have a lot more projects to install. Will NOT be using them again. read more

The stone was beautiful. the installers were fantastic. I was told on the day they came to measure that I would be able to use the faucet that we had. This was not in fact true. I had to go get a new faucet which I had not budget for. The company did give me a $100 to help cover the cost of the faucet. I was not aware when I bought the new sink from them that it had no drains another expensive I did not anticipate however they are not that expensive. The contract said a plumber would be disconnect the plumping ( you pay extra for that per the contract. There was no plumber day 1 the installers did the disconnect. Contract says the plumber will return after 24 hours to reconnect the plumbing. At 24 hours I when to Home Depot to get a time. The very helpful person at Home Depot called AS. they said they would call me. when the call /text came in it was to let me know that in fact the reconnection would not be happening until the next day. So no water in the kitchen for almost 48 hours. Very unacceptable. in my book they are in breach of contract. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Armina Stone is a poorly, run unpleasant company that doesn't stand behind their work whatsoever. I live in the Bakery Village townhomes in East Liberty and Armina was contracted by Infinity Custom Homes (the builder) to do our countertops. Within months the quartz rail in front of our cooktop cracked on either side and fell. Armina pushed back as much as possible (no, I don't sit, lean, or stand on a 1" wide piece of countertop, thanks for asking) before agreeing to do the repair. They first sent an installer out on the wrong day and lied when confronted with that (I had camera footage). The repair was completed with jagged seams that didn't match the previous clean look at all, and the cooktop was left uncaulked to move around in the hole. The scheduler raised her voice to me when I called to ask what should be done about that. A few months after the initial repair the quartz rail behind the cooktop also started to crack and fall, followed by the front one they'd just "fixed". Due to the pandemic we weren't able to have them come fix it, so as soon as things became less restricted we reached out to see what could be done. Now they're saying we're out of warranty for something that broke almost immediately (clearly it was a sloppy job) and our poor builder is stuck taking time out of his busy schedule to advocate for us in hopes they'll make it right this time. (Mind you this is a new townhome!) I wouldn't wish my experience with this company on my worst enemy. Avoid if at all possible. read more

I used Armina Stone for quartz countertops. From the time the kitchen was measured until the counters were delivered it was several weeks. On install date, I was advised by the installers that my countertops were damaged. I had a contractor lined up to do my plumbing and backsplash. I was not happy to find this out during install. Armina rescheduled me for 5 days later. I had my contractor lined up again. On the day of install, I was told that they had to delay it another 7 days. I called and spoke with a project manager to explain that the delay is holding up the sale of my home. He really sounded like he cared and advised that he would try to expedite and then call me back. It's 3 days later and I called to check on the status and they have no record of the call. Armina has done nothing to make this right for me. read more

The installers don't know what they're doing, the measuring folks are just as bad, and all of the customer service individuals complain about the other people on the team. I went through Home Depot and we cancelled the entire order. They charged us for 60 Sq ft for our counters. Then right before the install they wanted $1,700 for waste square footage...our sales person at Home Depot said we are only be charged for our measured square ft including sink and stove. They did a bait and switch. They also were always rude on the phone to schedule the appointment for the viewing of the slab and measurements. We decide to go with another vendor that is only charing us the 60 Sq ft. This review would be a 0. Don't want others to have our experience. Home Depot can do better!!! read more

If there is an option to rate a zero I would. My entire kitchen counter project has been a disaster from the start. Purchased my quartz through Home Depot and apparently Home Depot uses Armina stone as their fabricator and installer. I was very specific and how I wanted my sink cut out. I wanted rounded edges because sharp edges will chip. I was very specific with my salesman at Home Depot and I was very specific with the gentleman who came to measure. My new sink also is supposed to have the metal ledge expose front and back to use accessories like a drying rack. None of this was done and I've been trying to get in touch with Armina for five weeks now. I get the runaround or no one calls back. My contractor warned me about Armina Stone. Armina stone was initially nice to work with. They were informative and responsive. The installation team was also great. However, we were told by the two sales representatives that we worked with as well as the installation team that it was safe and appropriate to use our countertop appliances on our quartz countertop. We did as directed and our countertop cracked within 2 months of use. Armina promptly sent an inspection team out an assured us that the quartz would be replaced. They sent a second individual out who again assured us that there was no misuse, and that the countertop would be replaced. We were later informed that the manufacturer would not replace the countertop because our use of a countertop appliance voided the warranty. Armina then told us that they believed that there was a "flaw" in the manufacturing process and that the responsibility was with the manufacturer, who again refused to help because we voided the warranty by following Armina's care instructions. Armina refused to advocate for us and doubled down on their claim, going as far as to say that they cannot provide specific manufactures care instructions to consumers because they work with too many manufactures. Therefore, they give general care instructions, some of which void a warranty and leave the consumer with a large out of pocket expense to fix. I would prefer to work with a company that gives specific care instructions and stands behind their claims. If you do choose to use Armina stone, I do not recommend listening to their care instructions. It is best to reach out to the manufacturer directly for this. I hope this review helps some of you make your decisions about which distributor to go with. read more

Was talked out of marble (which we already had) and they said quartzite was indestructible and perfect for kitchens. That they wouldn't warranty marble in kitchens - One month after install I had severe oil stains everywhere. It took me over a year to get them to replace it (in their defense it was during Covid and projects were slow) yet the same exact thing happened to the replacement. They don't seal it along edges before they piece it together- so all the seams have stains- plus all along stove/sink . I've been doing monthly sealing and it doesn't help. Don't buy quartzite from them. Looks horrible. read more

My project with Armina Stone was a disaster from beginning to end. First they didn't set aside the correct slabs. Then, they cut half the counters wrong and had to redo them, leaving me with pieces that don't match each other. The final granite island top is rough, pitted and total garbage but they say it's "natural stone" so nothing they can do. We had a great experience with Armina Stone, Cheswick location! From the very beginning of the whole process, everyone was courteous and knowledgeable. Obo came out to measure the countertops. He was on time, very professional, extremely helpful, and addressed any concerns we had with confidence. Ask for him if you are able! He even helped my husband with something that he didn't have to! A week later the installers came. They were efficient and did a beautiful job installing the quartz countertops. Carlos was very meticulous about placing them precisely where they should go. He even verified with my husband a couple of the measurements for the cutouts, three times! There were no cracks, chips, everything lined up perfectly, and it looks beautiful! I hope they are paying Carlos a lot of money because he was REALLY good! Another week went by before the next guy came out to measure the backsplash area. I wish I had caught his name (big guy, blonde, very friendly, and said he had twenty-five years of experience doing this.) He answered our questions in a very knowledgeable way, and addressed our concerns about how the backsplash would be installed around the window and outlets. The following week Carlos was back to install the backsplash. I was really happy to see him because he did such a good job with the counters! We had special instructions for the area around the stove, and he followed them to a T! Again, very meticulous and precise about placement and installation. They did have to make a few extra cuts to fit the stove area (per our instructions,) and did a perfect job. Because one wall is very long, they did have to put in a seam, and I was a little leery of that. Honestly, I can't even tell it's there! I'm so happy about that! DO NOT USE. The salesman lied to us (or was mistaken). We specifically discussed backsplash being on the order and that we wanted a backsplash and that it was included in the order which WE PAID IN FULL. I asked the measuring guy about the backsplash he said they'd come back after counter top was installed. After counters were installed we received a call about another issue and I asked about the backsplash and they informed me we have no backsplash ordered. Wanted another $600 to install the backsplash. So now I have a 4" gap between the existing tile backsplash and the counter unless I let them extort me for more money. You can go to plenty of other places around Pittsburgh and beat their prices. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. read more

Pros - good selection, decent prices. Cons - watch the installers. They did this to my bathroom walls, claiming the wall plates for the plugs on either side of the vanity wall stuck out. So the solution is clearly to push through drywall harder instead of asking me to take the wall plates off. They didn't offer to fix it, said they wouldn't reimburse me if I had someone fix it for me, didn't knock any money off, left the broken drywall pieces on the floor, didn't return any phone calls, didn't respond to emails. My wife signed a form upon the installers arrival which I'm sure clears Armina of any damage they cause, but there is no such language that the customer is liable in the sales contract. That alone feels like bait-and-switch to me, but at that point, you've already paid them so you couldn't refuse the install that late in the process. Finally, didn't wear masks in my house. STAY AWAY!! They broke our down draft during installation and now refuse to fix it or even talk to us. They two guys were clearly drug addicts (rotting teeth, eyes half open). When I said "You can't pull up on the draft, it says that on the sticker, you broke it." They left saying that the company would handle it. After 2 weeks of phone tag and giving us the run around, Jonathan Mitchell, the sale's associate, finally called and said it is not in their company's policy to replace it. When I asked to speak to a manager, Jonathan said his manager told him to tell my husband that it's not their policy and hung up. We will be looking into further action since clearly this is not acceptable. They broke our property. They need to reimburse us for it at the very least. So I can go to c&c Granite in Uniontown to get a real granite top. I have home depot giving me a hard time getting my money back Armina did not cut anything on the stone. So I told them just give me my money back . Just as if I never ordered it. . C&C Granite might cost more but it's a real granite top. Armona is a fake granite from china that breaks and falls apart . I would much rather speak directly with a member of the management staff regarding the many issues I have had with this company, however, the management team refused to speak to me or return my calls. Once it was finally delivered, the stone itself was not so much the issue. The issue is the customer service - or more importantly, the lack thereof. The appointment times are vague, which is wildly inconvenient to expect a customer to be available ALL day long at any moment on any day that they choose. To make matters worse, both my template and install appointments were canceled multiple times for various reasons. The most recent cancellation was due to the fact that they "lost" my stone. A countertop simply does not "go missing." This was on a Saturday and I was promised that the project manager would personally call me first thing Monday morning. Of course, I never heard from him. When I called Armina Stone, no one was able to locate him and staff continued to state "I'll get a message to the manager to call you back." No one had any details, any explanation, or any apologies. I also tried calling the project manager directly, who never picked up. Brian, working the front desk, was particularly rude and less than helpful. I ended up just going into the store and I could see the management team in the back, with the door shut, but I was told "they don't handle this" - as if anyone there is NOT in the business of selling countertops. All of the employees continued passing the buck and to date, I have not heard from any of the management team. My stone arrived more or less by surprise and again, I had to take time off of work to receive the delivery at my rental property. I was always polite, which only gets you taken advantage of with this company. I had to take multiple days off of work, rearrange and cancel plans, and make myself available at their convenience, only to never receive an actual explanation or apology.
