We ended up taking it to a guy we found on Facebook called Milich Small equipment repair in new Alexandria. He had it running and working for less than $20. We ended up giving him $100 tip because he wouldn't take anything for service. I do not recommend Fletcher. There are a bunch of crooks and they don't know what they're doing. The only reason we ever went to them was because they did one of our push mowers. And they told us that it was fixed they had to put a new carburetor on. Which somehow cost more than a lawnmower. So if you need repairs done, I will go to milich small equipment repair. he charges a flat rate of $50 for a service or less if it's something small. Any charges you when he get charged for the park. So if the park cost $20 to him he charged you $20 nothing extra like Fletcher. The carburetor that they put on our lawnmower, ended up dying like two years later. When Dan put on the new carburetor on our push mower, it cost the same amount. And he told us that it was a Chinese version that they put on that's why I didn't last that long but they charged us $300 for the carburetor.

I called Sprowls and explained that I had bought a brand new top of the line energy efficient Maytag washer at a different store. After having it for a year, and being completely frustrated the whole time, I finally had to beat it to death with my bare hands. Since it was energy and water efficient, it didn't fill with enough water to actually clean the clothes, wouldn't agitate properly like a washer should, and was just in general and all around piece of crap. The salesman understood and recommended a Speed Queen old school washer. Unlike many other stores, Sprowls actually had one in stock so I didn't have to order it and wait. I bought it, picked it up, and was able to use it the very same day. And, I am very happy with my purchase. The machine works perfectly and does the job that a washing machine is supposed to do. It fills to a level that I can control, has an agitator that actually cleans the clothes and has enough power to do a full load. I would highly recommend both the store and the machine.

How great is that. This place was something out of a movie. Small hardware store that looks to date back to the early 50's potentially. Nice that these types of places still exist. The showroom (I suppose that's the best way to describe it) has a few items set up so you can see them in person. But the one employee suggested to look online if you want to see everything they have to offer. Just because they offer items meant for professional cleaning does not mean you can't come in here and buy a bottle for yourself. Actually do come in here, these guys are the real deal and know exactly what they are talking about. There are also other items for purchase that I know most of use could use at home.
