Vivian is THE staff designer you want to work with at The Tile Shop…read more She went above and beyond to help me narrow down my tile choices and confirm the amount of materials I needed for my project. She kept in regular contact with me to ensure my timelines were met. TTS has a wide variety of materials and I love that you can get samples to test out at home in your space. If you're working with a builder, you can get free samples otherwise you do need to purchase them. There is so much to choose from that it can be hard to narrow down, so I highly recommend coming in with a vision board or some inspiration from Pinterest to get you started -- from there Vivian will point you in the right direction and get you all you need for your project! Thanks again Vivian and I look forward to working with her more in the future!

I spoke with a fabulous associate (whose name is slipping my mind!) who was patient and knowledgeable. She explained some of the basics to me and made sure to tell me about the Brizo and Cambria lines that they carry (both of which I really like). At the time, I had very little to compare to this experience, but now that I've visited the competition down the road and the remodel expo this past weekend, I can't wait to head back to Robertson and make my first consultation appointment.

But after numerous unanswered phone calls & emails, and once getting through, delays and a raised price, I called Robertsons. In literally minutes, Rich e-mailed me an even better quote and said the installler could come measure Monday (this was Thursday, the other place said 3 weeks). After measuring, the countertop was manufactured and installed less than 2 weeks later. Rich was so nice and a joy to work with. LOVE the countertop! Will return to Robertsons when we do our master bath.

Building Buddies has a Facebook page, so through Facebook Messenger, I contacted the owner Jason to ask for estimates. He soon came to my house to view the proposed work, and he promptly emailed me estimates. Jason himself performed the remodeling of my bathrooms and the handyman work. He communicated about when he would arrive each day, and I thought that his work looked like a high quality. My attached photos show some of his work--tiled floors and installed bathtub, cabinets, toilets, faucets, and light fixture. (A different business installed the countertops and sinks, and I must still finish the painting and a few mirrors.) My husband and I feel very happy with our new bathrooms, and we will definitely consider hiring Building Buddies in the future to remodel our other bathroom, kitchen, and basement. As for the handyman work, Jason efficiently patched ceilings, replaced a window operator, replaced a light fixture, changed outdoor lightbulbs, and hung a bathroom mirror. He finished the work in a normal pace--significantly fewer hours than what a competing handyman company wanted to spend.

They may be cheap, but they sure are not easy to work with.
