Vivian is THE staff designer you want to work with at The Tile Shop. She went above and beyond to help me narrow down my tile choices and confirm the amount of materials I needed for my project. She kept in regular contact with me to ensure my timelines were met. TTS has a wide variety of materials and I love that you can get samples to test out at home in your space. If you're working with a builder, you can get free samples otherwise you do need to purchase them. There is so much to choose from that it can be hard to narrow down, so I highly recommend coming in with a vision board or some inspiration from Pinterest to get you started -- from there Vivian will point you in the right direction and get you all you need for your project! I was fortunate that I was able to work with Vivian to pick out all of the tile for my new home build. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me to stick as close as possible to my budget. She pointed out what looks good together, understood the style I was going for, and knew so much about the materials and any required maintenance. She places the material selections all together and helped me make choices every step of the way. After I selected the materials, she works with me over the phone and through email the following week to get the proper quantities ordered and she also talked extensively with my general contractor to ensure we have what we need. Beyond Vivian's assistance, the store has an incredible selection of materials in a variety of styles and finishes. My wife and I got our Bathroom floor tile from The Tile Shop. The store is large and has a huge selection of tiles. The prices are good and the staff where very friendly and extremely helpful. The tile seems to be of good quality. My wife and I ordered the tile as there was none in stock. Took about 4-6 weeks to get due to corona. I like the showroom and the staff. I defiantly would recommend The Tile Shop if you are in the need for any sort of tile. read more

I have visited The Tile Shop multiple times now, from initial browsing to purchasing and then returns. Overall, I had a positive experience with the shop, but there are definitely opportunities for improvement. -The selection is fantastic! It's a great place to browse tile. I also found products here that I saw nothing like anywhere else, and the tile prices were very affordable. -The employees are hit or miss. I initially interacted with a very over-the-top female who got on my nerves a bit. However, later associates that assisted me were much less obnoxious. I did have to pull information out of them a bit, which considering their full time job is working for a tile store, was a bit frustrating. It caused me to have to return a couple times that I really shouldn't have needed to have done if I had received more help up front. -The checkout process is extremely annoying. Every time that I have been in the shop, five employees are standing around two cash registers, waiting for other employees to finish using the computers to look for product or ring up customers. The customers all have a kill-me-now-can-I-please-get-out-of-here facial expression. It seems that the simple solution would be to buy additional computers or to use an iPad or iPhone as an additional POS device. -The return process was easier than I expected. I came back months later and easily returned everything that I had not used. At the end of the day, despite some mild annoyances, I have a product now installed in my newly renovated kitchen that I absolutely love. I would definitely purchase from this store again! read more

Great showroom, well stocked with oodles and oodles of floor and wall coverings for your shopping pleasure. The staff were friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. There's lots to see here, and some nice inspirational montages along the walls, so you can get an idea of how a project may come together for you with specific materials. They even have a list of contractors that they refer to, to steer those of us who aren't do it yourselfers in the right direction. All of the materials are laid out well, so that you can compare within each type. It's very easy to sort through things and see what you may want to buy. This showroom has been open since October of 2014, and I imagine that it may stick around for many years to come as long as the economy holds up. Lots of great products and ideas to customize your pied-à-terre just the way you want it! Will definitely be back - once we make up our minds! read more

The Tile Shop is amazing, from their customer service to their return policy. I never have to worry about not having enough tile or getting stuck with extra unused boxes, since they have no restocking fees and allow 6 months to return. Their selection and displays are also above and beyond similar stores. P.S. I suspect the guy complaining about them closing at 3:00 when the website states 6:00 was actually at Best Tile, which is less than a mile away on the same road...and closes at 3:00 on Saturdays. read more

The customer service of this establishment was atrocious, to say the least. I came in to pre-shop for one of my clients, who I planned to bring in the next day. There were 2 salespeople present, Allison and a young man with no name tag. The store was empty. After waiting 15 minutes to be helped, I engaged one of them for assistance. I was ignored by the young man and Allison all but ran from me when I asked for help. Apparently, personal phone conversations and preconceived notions about paying customers is more important to the sales staff than actually making money. It's truly a shame that after all of the good things that I heard about The Tile Shop, this is how I was treated. Some serious changes need to be made to how this location is run. In the meantime, I won't be returning to this location. read more

We bought our tile from this store after shopping around the area at another tile specialty store and the big chain stores. I wanted ceramic or porcelain and the prices were comparable to the big chain stores, but there were a lot more options. We must have gone there 5 times before making our final selection (so many choices) but we got a combination suggestion from staff that we went with and it turned out great. I depended on the great return policy (unopened boxes/ containers) and am happy with the bathroom and the price and service. read more

Read their returns policy very very closely. Their business model includes the fact that they hold your credit card refund money for at least 14 days after a return even though they charge you for items the same day on your credit card. Businesses that operate their business this way (on credit card processing credit) is very BAD for consumers. read more

They have large displays, more samples than you could imagine and the friendliest staff I have ever worked with. Both Keith and KP are extremely talented at design and go above and beyond other tile store to make your vision a reality. They give you as much time as you need to make sure you are happy with your choices. They offer great suggestions and even made a drawing of my bathroom project so I could envision the outcome. I was not happy with the company I was doing my remodeling project with and they bent over backwards to try and make by bad situation better. Having been retired from the trades for a while, I didn't think I would get caught....I called a couple of local tillers in the Butler Pa area for quotes. The area was34x32x34 with a 46" rise. He quoted me with tile and bullnose and mastic supplied at $1000.....Next guy $1100.....I dutifully made my order with tile shop, and a reasonable price was quoted up to bullnose, which cost over half the job at $467....(plus the extra labor to install)....My union carpenter walked on the job, took a look and laughed, asking me why I didn't use Schluter strip instead of bullnose...Cost about 10% of bullnose and easy to install. Then talked to daughter in Seattle, and she was getting a bathroom renovation, we compared notes, and she laughed and said her planner is using Schluter...The only folks that didn't laugh were at the Tile shop (who didn't mention Schluter either), and said they would knock the bullnose off the order.....That's just as ethical as hell!, and well appreciated....The revised job with labor and material is close to $700 complete. That, plus their good stock, would make me recommend them to anyone instantly.... read more

We had visited this store many times in preparation to renovate 2 bathrooms. Although we started ordering Tile in October, our job was not to begin until February. Ariane helped us each time with selection and ordering and we thought we had everything we needed until our last conversation with our contractor. The final order of the small detailed pieces was placed last. When our job was started last week, Ariane was out of town for work but the manager, Steve,helped us get out of a crisis when the tiles that were ordered last were not in when we expected. He went out of his way to make sure the tile we needed was on site for our contractor, and it certainly alleviated the stress of the last minute worries. Thank you for going out of your way to help us! I would highly recommend the tile shop! They all go out of their way to help, even when you pop in and your salesperson is not working at that time. read more
