Having tentatively decided on a sig P365, I decided to go to this local shop to discuss configuration and options, and order that day. When I opened the discussion with the counter guy, a condescending and arrogant dude sitting on a stool in the corner informed us in no uncertain terms that the sig P365 is "for law officers only". Decent selection and convenient location between work and home. Unfortunately, those working there don't seem to be as excited and friendly as I would hope. As quickly as you can enter the store and enjoy looking around is as quick as you will want to leave. I finally decided to give it a shot and purchase from them. The first call confirming they received my order and is ready to begin paperwork was great and the salesman seemed very nice. Two days later I showed up to the store and was not welcomed in. I made my way to the back of the store and felt as if I was putting someone out by asking for help. Upon asking to start my paperwork, the representative informed me that due to a power outage their server burned up and they couldn't process paperwork. This isn't anyone's issue and I understand that. I had just hoped they could save me a two-hour drive by calling those with recent orders and informing them of the issue. I understand it may have been many folks, so I wrote that one off. Two days later I returned to the store and was greeted in the same way. I requested to start paperwork again and was asked to provide my license and shuffle to the end of the counter to begin paperwork. A bit taken back on the attitude, I moved to began the process. A few minutes later I returned to the counter and asked if they were ready for my concealed permit. They informed me that it was too late and next time I should start with that. This is something I would imagine they would ask for and not leave it to the customer to be sure they have everything they need before beginning the process. Overall, Meh. Bright spot was the good service from when I went in. I was greeted with friendly staff. Seemed like they wanted to make a sale. The selection was far below average. Most of the used guns were old, shot out hunting rifles. No milsurps or anything remotely of interest for a collector. Much of the new stock was well above the price you could find online. Kinda just sucks to shop here. Sketchy. Guns above MSRP. Read other reviews to verify... They look at you like you're a piece of trash just for walking into the store, and seem to get mildly upset if you ask to pull the trigger on a gun. Legit, the guy at the computer in the back furrowed his brow and glared at me for about 30 full seconds for asking, and NO you cannot pull it. They don't care if you're there to buy. NOOO, you cannot pull the trigger. They even Zip tie some of them. Trigger pull, weight, feel, etc is a very large part of deciding if you want to buy a gun and I'm about to drop $500-$1000 I'd like to pull the trigger, please. You might think this is to protect the gun from being dry fired again and again by customers in the shop before its sale, but no that's not the case. If that was the case they'd keep some snap-caps behind the counter for just this occasion, but they don't. They don't want you to handle the guns either. If you see something interesting and ask about it, they ask what you came in to the shop for. They were also not very knowledgeable about the three guns I asked about either (two I wanted to compare, and there was an upgraded option of one of them, so three total.) The guy behind the counter even started talking about how the trigger was improved on the upgraded version of one of the two revolvers I was comparing but... No, I couldn't pull any of them to see what he was talking about. Buying the gun is also a terrible experience. No, you don't pay the guy who shows you the gun. Nor do you pay a second person you talk to in the back by a computer who asks you to sign paperwork. No, he'll point you to the exit and you pay a 3rd person at the front right next to the exit, who will tell you they'll "call you in 10 days" and leave it at that and you are basically shoo'd out the door at that moment. For my purchase I was handed off to *4 different people (none of which identified themselves to me), and I was not able to see who had my ID for about 30 min. It moved around the shop, I think. Very sketchy. They sell spices and pancake syrup and other random stuff right upfront. You know a gun shop is struggling, even in a gun-run climate like we have right now, when the first thing you are greeted with is non gun related items when you walk in the door. Wonder why they're struggling? hmmmmm... Could it be that they're rude, un-uniformed, and treat you like a jerk for being in their store? Let me go into the 'treat you like criminal or jerk' thing, just so you know. I came in there about 2-3 weeks ago and was greeted curtly at the front door by an un-uniformed employee. She blocked my path and asked me "what do you want?". No, she didn't say "welcome to Armageddon Arms" or "my name is _____, can i help you?" I asked her if she works here and she looked at me as though she was confused that I'd even ask, and again asked what I wanted. So I told her and guess what, she pointed me at another un-uniformed employee. He didn't greet me either and sighed heavily when I asked about some revolvers. Actually, not a single person in the shop greeted me. To be honest, I'm actually really sad about my purchase and I should've listened to the guys I go to church with and went to Spectyr Industries Corp, or PawnFathers for that matter. Armageddon Arms made me feel like trash just to shop there, and I definitely wont go back. I don't dress weird, or act funny or anything. I look pretty plain actually. And I only asked like 3 questions about a gun I had already made my mind up to buy while looking at websites anyway. I was an easy sell to say the least. I'll *never be back to this shop again. Cool store with lots of merchandise to choose from. The staff are friendly and I am attended to upon entering the shop. Good job guys! This shop is now my go-to for items I need. As for the negative comments, those people likely went in when the place was super busy, or those people don't understand what patience is. I have been in the shop when it was very busy, and I waited my turn, being courteous to the staff and other customers. Not to mention, every shop I have been in recently (since the riots, etc.) have been swamped with newbies who demand lots of attention. The staff of nearly every shop look exhausted, probably because the are. If someone goes into ANY shop when they are busy, they will have to wait their turn. I've purchased 2 firearms from this store and recently purchased several items that I needed for my AR build and items I needed for my pistol. I was going into the store on a weekly basis for about a month and each time spending more than $150, the experience has been unpleasant. I will say they have a lot of stuff and now I know why. They probably lose more business than they gain! I now understand why they have more stuff than most people, prices are too high and the attitude. Staff is unfriendly, there is always a feeling of you should be blessed to be able to talk with them and a hurry up and get out attitude. Luckily, I discovered another store that they suggested, because they can't do FFL transfers right now, (I was told they don't have the staff, there where at least 3 employees in the store and I was the only customer!) I went to their competitor, which was friendly, organized, offered more services (Cerakote, FFL, Knowledge, and did I mention friendly!) and spent $850 that day and will never go back to Armageddon Arms. I thought it was a phase or always catching them on a bad day, but after years of the same old crap I've had my fill and moving on. I try and avoid the big box stores and shop local for my hobbies as much as I can. I like to support local business, but sometimes they just don't deserve it. We never had an issue with this place over 4 years until now. This place shouldn't have employees selling items they have no knowledge of, especially when it comes to building guns or giving advice. My husband and I came in here looking for parts to build an AR pistol, the guy sold us a rifle buffer tube that's meant for a fixed buttstock. So he basically sold us parts that'll make my husband's pistol into a SBR (short barrel rifle) which is a felony without a tax stamp. He told us the buffer tube and arm brace were compatible but there's no way to attach one to the other. We tried to return or exchange the buffer tube for parts that Would be compatible, and one of their female employees was very rude, basically telling us to "fuck off, all sales are final". read more

Worst customer service ever; there is a thick feeling of pretentiousness just walking. The employees look so disgruntled their the how can I help you comes across as "what do you want" as they stare at you with daggers. Customer service after buying anything is zilch; its like buying a used car; when you're trying to make a purchase, they are your best friend, but Once you bought it its yours, don't expect any help from us. There are many reviews about the poor customer service here and it has not changed since they moved across HWY 2, so don't try and blame it on COVID. I think it's a family issue. FYI; you are selling fire-arms to the public; you should be well versed in what you're selling and maybe read one of the manuals once and again. I could have sat there and argued the disinformation you were trying to give me this weekend in front of other customers but I figured why bother, it didn't seem you were willing to help even though I purchased two rifles in your store at the same time. So, to the guy in the back that sits behind the counter like Jabba The Hut; no fire arms manual starts out on page one telling you to clean your weapon. It starts out with introduction to fire arms and safety. Honestly, you shouldn't even be able to own a gun shop giving out that kind of miss information. To sum it up; small store packed so full its hard to walk through run by un-educated disgruntle staff. It's impossible to breath in their though, me and a friend walked in just to take a look around and it's impossible to breath being constantly hovered over by staff sometimes literally. There were like six people working and we were the only to in the store. Although I understand staff being friendly, it's like they work on commission or something. I'm not really sure about the negative posters other than they probably felt very uncomfortable leaving their safe space or aunties basement and were just too overwhelmed in the real world. I have now purchased three weapons from this store, a Henry rifle and two handguns for my wife and daughter. We also purchased ammo and other accessories. Because of the number of trips to this store I have probably talked to almost every employee. Not one of them has been discourteous, mean or seemingly not interested in what I wanted. They are very knowledgeable about their products as this store does carry a very wide variety of weapons, camping, hunting, emergency supplies and fishing gear. This store is almost always busy, especially on weekends. Was I treated to an air-headed, smiling bimbo greeting me at the door? NO. The staff at this location are professional, reserved and serious. This store does not sell happy face stickers and tofu. These are serious products and sold by serious men that know what they are talking about. If you want to be greeted by someone cartwheeling down the isle with a fake smile then go to a mystic crystals and meditation store in Pioneer Square. The isles are full and there isn't tons of room between displays but I would rather have multiple choices of product then only one item or empty shelves. The owner has multiple sources of vendors and he works hard to keep his store well stocked, especially in these times. That in it's self is an accomplishment currently. As far as prices, I may have been able to find one or more of the items I purchased at a slightly less price, IF I could find it. This store is NOT price gouging as I have checked numerous outlets both brick and mortar as well as on line. I encountered a problem with one of the weapons that made the weapon inoperable and to no fault of the shooter. The owner took time to speak with me over the phone and via email, even sending me links to videos to try and figure out the problem and a solution. I was able to make the weapon safe but it still did not operate correctly so I was given the choice to bring it in and they would look at it or they would send it on back to the manufacturer. I brought it back to the store, I live over 85 miles away, and after spending over an hour on it, the weapon was fixed, cleaned, oiled back to new and handed back to me with an explanation and no charge. He didn't smile once and I'm ok with that. They have my business for as long as I feel I'm a valued customer, which I do. read more

Terrible experience. I went in for advice about stun guns and the lady who tried to help me had zero knowledge, refused to ask anyone else for help because they "don't have experts on the products they expect people to already know what they want when they come in". She suggested I try a women's self defense course. I will be making my purchase online or at Cabella's instead, where they have actual experts and aren't totally rude when you ask for help. The part time gun counter chick at Fred Meyers was more helpful than this rude employee. This is really not how you get customers, guys, if it's a product you sell you should BECOME an expert if you're not already. Useless. read more

First time in I wasn't greeted or asked if I could be helped, likely because my husband and I both have dreadlocks. Second time in was worse, they double charged my credit card, couldn't even offer to wave the 3% credit card fee for the trouble. Customer service was poor. The owner was at least somewhat reasonable but I would never recommend this place to anyone.. ever. Double charged my card and didn't even apologize. The staff was incompetent. Had I read about the reviews before I would have never used them. This was the worst experience I've had in purchasing firearms. The owners don't want you there, they don't want to answer questions, nobody helps you when you when you walk in, they all stare at you while you look at items. I was just there for a transfer from a shop in Wenatchee. These guys charged me 85.00 dollars for an in-state transfer fee. Double what every other gun shop charges for transfers. I used them cause they're in walking distance for me. All around shitty place, the building, the employees and just the overall condescending attitudes. You can just feel the bad vibe when you walk in. I do believe they have contempt for gun owners. I'll never use these guys again. read more

First experience was horrible here with an extremely rude and arrogant woman behind the counter, but I decided to try again as maybe she just was having a bad day. I pull up to enter the establishment at 1:30pm on a Tuesday to find a sign saying " will return at 2:15" I decide to just wait (bug mistake) after sitting there for almost an hour (2:25) I leave. Absolutely love the store and the owners! I have used their layaway program twice (the policies for which are clearly marked and more than reasonable) with no problems whatsoever. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. They were more than fair when I sold them a few firearms as well. Nothing "shady" about it. I came in here to buy a semi automatic rifle for my boyfriend for his birthday. He had come home after purchasing a gun from here, saying "this is what I want" . So I wandered on a few days later to get that gun for him. It seems like a nice little shop and the lady there seemed really friendly and answered all my questions. One of the big ones was what's the restocking fee for. She explained when somebody purchased a gun and signed the paper work (basically it's in their name, they have paid the full amount) that the gun looses some value cause it's pre owned, so if they have to take it back there is a fee, and absolutely no refunds they only do exchanges or store credit. I put the gun on layaway. I didn't put the full amount down. I did not sign paper work. I did not fully purchase and sign off paper work putting the gun in my name. Well good deed gone bad, two days later my boyfriend comes out with a huge grin on his face and the gun he wanted in hand. Great. So I head back to the store. No refund. Oh but the boss will be I on the weekend you can talk to him and maybe work something out. I work a retail job. Chances of me getting in on a weekend are slim. I go in on Friday. They say all they can do is store credit, they can't give me a refund. And really because of the restocking fee they shouldn't give me anything back. Here's the problem. The gun was never paid in full. I never owned it. It's pretty much on hold, with a small down payment until I could swing by with my boyfriend. There should be no restocking fee, it's not losing any value. I never actually purchased the gun, it was never a full transaction so why can't I get my money back? I will personally never take my business here again. Obviously boyfriend now has store credit that was going to go towards something else for his birthday, but I'm not happy.
