I really wanted to love this place because it made a great first impression. It was very clean,…read morebeautifully put together, and felt welcoming from the moment I walked in. You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in the business, and I really appreciated that. I received a 90-minute massage. The massage itself was okay, but it wasn't anything memorable. I've probably had 30 massages over the years, and this one was pretty average compared to others I've had. Unfortunately, what stood out most was that my massage therapist repeatedly passed gas throughout the session. I understand that everyone is human and things happen, but it occurred multiple times during the 90 minutes, and she never acknowledged it or even said "excuse me." It made the experience uncomfortable and took away from what should have been an enjoyable massage. I truly appreciated how clean and inviting the spa was, but because of this experience, I'm not sure I'll be returning.

I…read moreasked for Swedish massage and all she knew how to do was squeeze my legs here and there and elbows and forearms on my back. She started asking for tips 20 minutes into the massage. She wanted $65 for "extra service" or $200 for "boom boom". Told her I didn't bring much money and the tip would depend on how good the massage went. Then she asks if I have more money in my car or have a credit card. I said no. From there the massage fell to pieces as she just went thru the motions and told me she done 10 minutes early. I'll never return here. $70 for a 60 minute massage is normal here and a $10 or $15 tip if it's a good one is plenty. This one was certainly lacking on both counts. Save your money and try a different one. Maybe if they get a less greedy masseuse things will improve here.

When the lady came out to the waiting area she was wearing a super short pink dress and I immediately knew this place was sketchy. If you choose an "add-on," they incorporate it into the timeframe of your massage. For example, I…read morebooked a 60-min Swedish massage and paid extra for a scalp massage/treatment. The scalp massage was incorporated into the 60 minutes, not in addition to, which took away from the 60 minute massage. It's misleading. I wouldn't have paid for an "add-on" if I had known. When I booked it, it said total time was 1hr 15. And when I later asked, they said that includes clean-up time. What does clean-up time have to do with the time shown to the guest? There's also a reason Dolce Vita had availability last-minute, when Atlantis and Peppermill didn't. Dolce is simply not worth the price. The amenities are very very average. In the ladies room, there's only a steam room and sauna. The shampoo and conditioner are poor quality too. The men's room (according to my partner) doesn't even have a steam room. I've visited Dolce about three times, and this past weekend will be my list. You can get a much better experience elsewhere, and for less money. The masseuses are good, but the customer service is just ok. Really wish they'd be more upfront about add-ons, and really wish they'd step up their amenities because the location has potential.
