He explained to me he could not authorize and reimburse me for the thrown away contents but would follow up with corporate. He never called me back and followed up with me, and I lost $300 worth of stuff. I asked him why he went into my unit, and his explanation was that he thought it was left by accident. I get accidents happen. However, agreeing to push my request on his end with corporate and then not following up is extremely substandard, and the result was me being out $300. Since they are not going to Pick it up until 8/25/2022 they charged me another 119 dollars since my time was due on the 22nd. They should have some type of prorating system. So if you use U-haul Pods you should ask these questions 1. What is the rental? 2. Do you charge to move the pods from one location to another. 3. Do you pro-rate your monthly fee? I will say that the pods seem to be watertight, and my items inside did not move at all during shipping.
