We visited Gem World in Quartzsite a few weeks ago and we were told there's another one in Apache Junction so we visited recently and saw the similarities. This store is a much more wholesale-focused store; most items are in boxes or stacked haphazardly. It's like a treasure hunt but everything is so well priced and way more affordable than buying from a high end gem store. If you're wanting a "regular" store experience this may not be the place but we brought our kids and there's something for everyone! read more

You know How are you walk into a store and it feels familiar? Well the store sparked a memory. It is nicely organized and staff are very helpful. You can shop retail or wholesale if you have a license. On one side of the store, they have large geodes, all types of rocks and minerals. On the other side of the store you'll find jewelry in strands, singles and bulk purchases. All sorts of charms in findings are also along some of the aisles. Prices are great especially if you buy in bulk. We all had a good time tempting each other with various purchases and finds. As I was checking out I asked if they had a store in Quartzite. Sure enough they do as well as another store in Tucson. I have been to the one in Quartzite. No wonder it was familiar! They have their own parking lot. read more

Found this place in early 2020 - they were not locked down and were a fun drive when everything was closed. I hear the owner's main store is in "Quartzite" but it was closed when i went. Have found some amazing pieces over the years including a huge raw amythist in the matrix and a gold sheen obsidian. this place is large and has a very nice selection. For me it was a bit out of the way but a friend recommend it as a don't miss! It appears to be in an old grocery store and it is FULL of crystals. It's a little chaotic. It's not fancy. Some stuff is by the case or box and some is by the pieces. The prices are great. they have a lot of beads, and everything else you can imagine. It takes a while to go through, but well worth the visit for me! I spent about $200, and I believe had I bought these anywhere else, I would have easily spent $600 or more. read more

They are more like a wholesaler rather than a retail store even though they are open to retail shoppers. I purchased some crystals and jewelry display cases. I've enjoyed shopping at the Arizona Gift Center for years, but today, they lost me as a customer. I overheard a woman asking a worker if they had a restroom she could use. He told her they did have one, but it was not for customers to use. Then he said maybe she could talk a worker at the front into loaning her the bathroom key. If that wasn't rude enough, then he her asked how far away she lived (?). She told him the cross streets, which were about 15 minutes from the store. His response? "Aww, that's just down the street." As if to suggest she just hold it till she got home?! If that wasn't enough, they now sell and display life-size stone phalluses (statues of upright, erect penises). As I was leaving, I asked the worker if he was the owner (he was not). But I still told him, I've enjoyed shopping there for years, but thought having a phallus on display was just gross. He laughed. Then he said they called it their "giggle corner," because they'd overhear customers giggling when they saw it. I was so surprised at his response I didn't even think to say not ALL of their customers giggled when they saw it. To me at least, it was vulgar and offensive, and I will no longer be returning to their store. You'd think they'd care more about their customers, but apparently not. Do your research! This is a cool place if you know what your looking for and how to spot fakes. I've noticed usually if there's no label, it's man made. The bulk packs are a gamble. There will be varying numbers of broken pieces in the bags. But it's a fun store to get lost in if you like and know your crystals. Inventory is constantly changing so you never know what you might find! Josh usually helps me when I go. He's very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there's no public restrooms and they don't allow pets. Overall definitely worth checking out! They have great prices and wholesale options for business owners. read more

I've been a loyal customer here for more than 2 years now and I only get my rocks, crystals, and beads from this establishment. I usually would give this place 5 stars any other day but today. There was a new sign saying they require masks which has never been a problem before. They would not let me shop without one. I'm vaccinated and haven't carried a mask with me for a good couple months now because no where i go requires them. So I asked if they had any one i could wear and they didn't. Very disappointed. Sometimes you go into a store on a whim and are completely surprised. This is one of those stores. It's a great place for a massive selection of beads at lower prices. This place is frickin heaven! Based on some of the reviews I was a little worried about maneuvering but the staff was super nice and helpful! They have carts for you to use and amazing prices without having to trek to Tucson but they even have a location there so that's awesome too!!
