Waited about 30 minutes, to be expected but it went quick. We have a diesel so had that experience for the first time. The guy who did the test was super nice and complemented the truck a few times. He was a younger male, good dude! Will definitely return. read more

The Eastside mvd emmision testing facility near 22nd and Sarnoff. They web site i visited stated they opened at 7:30. Got there at 7:20 to find out they really open at 8am. Renew for the 2 year option. It's worth it. I actually got a semi-friendly tester. I was surprised. From my decades of experience, every year the gas cap is no good. Now however if that's the case, they'll give you s free replacement. So nice not having to get denied for that and have to do it all over again. This place is the closet testing station at 20 miles away. So a very big hassle having to do it twice if you are denied for something as silly as their gas cap pressure test. Pass this on: before you head out for testing, take off your gas cap and with some motor oil on your fingertip, coat the gas cap o-ring then replace. It will never fail and will last you years and years. Thats what always fails. The o-ring dries out, shrinks and loses its pressure seal. Do the above and never worry about it again. Today's testing is ten times faster than in the past. I remember 4 bottlenecked lines backed up to 22nd street causing mass confusion and anger. Thank God they've made some progress. read more

This place is awful. They have a chain across the entry way and a tiny sign on another street where they moved the entrance. What a bunch of mean awful people. The chain has no instructions on how to get in to get your emissions.. These workers are passive aggressive as are their superiors. I got to emission every two years how would I know they moved their entrance with no sign on their chains? read more

A fantastic experience! I recently moved to Az from CA, and needed an emissions test for my car registration. So today I drive into this facility and was very happy with the service. I explained my situation to the tech working in my Express Lane, and he told me that I didn't need an emissions test bc my car was too new. Then he called his Supervisor over to override the computer & the Supervisor said the same thing, stating that he didn't want to charge me for something I didn't need. It was time to get my first smog test and I would have never guessed it would be as smooth, quick and affordable as it turned out to be. As you enter the site, you want to go through the "enter" lane and line up in one of the lanes, keeping in mind the OBD/Diesel/Biofuel/Heavy Duty sign above (if it applies to you). We waited about 20 minutes. Once it's your turn, you pull up and they have the driver step out. The whole process takes 5-10 minutes and they accept credit card for the $12.25 fee. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to find the new entrance following cones, signs and chains closing the usual entrances. Finally pulled into the correct lane and They shut the door on me at exactly 5pm. I rushed 40 minutes across town to get there. Very frustrating. I get everyone wants to go home, so do I, emissions is mandated and not optional. Should have better hours for the working folk. read more

I took my vehicle for emissions testing at stockard dr. My vehicle failed saying "vehicle did not communicate. They never even hooked it up all they did was try to scan my sticker on vehicle. The saw som wires from my GPS system hanging down look at that and said it needed to be mounted properly. I left and came back the next week, it failed again saying the vehicle has been locked out from inspection. This place is horrible and the staff act like they hate their jobs. I now have to go clear across town to get a waiver so I can hopefully get this done Very upset. read more

Arizona Emissions Testing - No lines! - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I went to the testing facility on 53rd ave and Roosevelt. First if there's a long line, which there always is the line ends up in the street. This causes a problem with either some cars blocking intersections for non-emission traffic to get in or out from or if a driver leaves an open space and doesn't block the intersection someone is likely to try to jump the line and fill that open spot, which is what happened to me. When this happens a confrontation is likely, which would've happened for me but they moved when I honked. Next there are two lines that cars can choose from once they're on the property. One lane of cars was being serviced by 3 bays while the other line of cars was being serviced by one bay and it turns out the person manning that bay, while very nice, was very inexperienced and much slower than any of the other bays. So if you chose the wrong lane your wait time shot up by well over 1/2hr over cars in the line next to you. I gave it two stars only because the inexperienced worker was very nice otherwise I would've gone with one. Why they didn't have 2 bays servicing each lane is beyond me but I'd guess there wasn't a single happy person in the first lane of cars. read more

Fine. 3 stars. Emissions is an awful experience as it takes forever and it seems like there should be a better system by now but what I will say is when I finally did make it to the front of the line (I wasn't sure if I would make it) all the employees were working really hard. The woman who helped me was really friendly and seemed like she was working as quickly as she could. I don't really know what else to say besides that emissions suck but at least the employees here seem like they try really hard to minimize the inconvenience even if it's not always possible. read more

Went here to get my truck tested. I told them I would drive it then while doing paper work they started to drive it and mishifted it into reverse. The transmission locked up on my way home. I was given multiple contacts and was told different stories with no real evidence for denying my claim. They are careless, treat you horribly, and will not take responsibility for their mistakes, I was left with no vehicle. This issues was never resolved. I would never visit here. read more

2 express lanes for OBD wait time end of month is long. But not too bad. Open Saturdays which is convenient. Pull up and wait. They are super friendly. But I recommend going early. As soon as they open at 8am otherwise you will b there for every especially if you wait til last minute to do emissions read more

There's not much you can say about a place that checks emissions. They gave me a free gas cap because mine failed and there is some sort of exchange program. It's cheap ($12.25). The people are nice. The line moves quickly and it's right next to the MVD. read more
