    Tonto Jeep and tent
    Amy S.

My husband rented the Jeep Tonto for a weekend adventure & Arizona Camper Van did not disappoint. Jesse was very helpful and answered all our questions. The Jeep was awesome, very clean and equipped with everything you could need for an Arizona adventure! If you are looking for a camper van rental in Phoenix look no further! I would rate the customer service 10/10. The Jeep was also 10/10.

The team at Boho created the most beautiful van I've seen. Absolutely love her. Thank you!…read more Is my second van and I chose this team over my last builders because the process was a little tough for my first one. Boho's systems and procedures were tighter and the end result is gorgeous! There were some challenges along the way, as there always are, but David and Brett and the whole team came together to solve things. They are definitely upper echelon van builders in every way. And they work very hard for their reviews, ensuring that every customer leaves happy. They are really great humans! If you are considering a van build, you won't be disappointed in Boho. Highly recommend. :)

My wife and I arranged our entire wedding and honeymoon around Boho Camper Vans. We would not have…read morehad our wedding any other way. Let me start by saying that Harvey the van we rented was great fun and had all your needs for camping! Our experience was great we had the van for 2 weeks which is the longest boho said that have ever rented out. We traveled over 4000 miles in that Van and gave us no problems. We were able to stop at campgrounds rv parks anywhere you wanted to stay. The bed in the van comfortable. Has your cooler which is solar powered (no I've needed). Outlets for charging any of the devices you might carry. running water shower in the back. I'll tell you it it's what you want to have on wheels and compact so you can get wherever you need to. The downside is that it does eat up alot of gas. So if your planning on traveling make sure you budget extra money for gas. Also not much hanging room for clothes and such for when you are on the road. Has plenty of storage for the van that we have. Maybe should add a shower curtain to the back. And so e straps for things that are inside the van. The guys are fun to work with... we had a little bit of an issue but the owner David (great guy) was able to find us a resolution without having our concerns unheard or felt like we were getting taken advantage of.

I can't recommend this camper van travel company enough! From start to finish, everything about our…read moretrip was seamlessly adventurous. The van was exceptionally well-stocked and very well cleaned inside. Ours did have a broken cigarette lighter & a hard to manage radio (dim lights & wonky knobs) but that didn't detract from the experience. It had everything we needed in the way of comfy bedding pillow cushions, a fully stocked kitchenette with utensils, pots, and even a portable sink. They even provided camping chairs and a portable grill! It felt like we were staying in a full mobile home. The layout was spacious with plenty of storage for our gear. When departing they also have a leftover section in which we were able to grab some items for the kitchen. If you're looking for an unforgettable camper van adventure with all the comforts and none of the stress, this company is the way to go. I'll definitely be using them again for my next road trip!

I rented an Escape Campervan in Phoenix, in order to head up to the Grand Canyon…read more While I booked the smaller van, they upgraded me to the larger one. I was not charged for the upgrade but I wish I'd had the smaller for an easier time driving. There weren't any options at this point as their supply on-site is limited. This van has a shark mural and was named "Torpedo." Pickup was easy and quick. Their office is tiny so be prepared to wait outside if someone else is picking theirs up at the same time. As with any rental, check for damages and take pictures/video before you drive away. They keep a free bin on site at pickup - you can grab propane, utensils, dry foods, etc. I don't suggest their rental system for most things - instead, I went to Walmart for everything I needed but couldn't find here for free. The van was great and Arizona's generous dispersed camping laws made for easy and free campsites. It had everything I needed - pillows, warm enough blanket, room for luggage/stuff, curtains, water, fridge, and cooktop. The padding on the bed was pretty thin and uncomfortable so I doubled up. I used a cigarette lighter cord for a charger. I couldn't figure out bluetooth or aux connection so I just played audio from my phone. Return was simple. Customer service was good - I noticed an error on billing and they corrected it same-day. Though their prices are competitive with other companies, it's not cheap to rent these overall, especially once you add on gas and mileage. However, they make for a really fun and spontaneous method of travel!

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE…read more Absolute scam. Rv had a septic block before we picked it up. Started discharging human feces. We brought it back, they refused to refund us even for the nights we didn't use. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE

The staff at the Phoenix pickup center was great, and this is not a review of them personally, but…read moremore so about the company. As others have mentioned: rent at your own risk... It is incredibly difficult to get accurate answers from their customer service. Other RV rentals don't charge crazy fees for certain pickup/dropoff times, so be aware of that. Their "live chat" is just AI bots, which gave me "incorrect" information, and when I finally got a human on the line they just told me the previous info I received (from their own system) was incorrect, which ended up costing me a lot more, and they would not honor it, nor could I cancel at that point without losing a ton of money. I have had dozens of emails back and forth with their support and they can't even explain their own charges and keep giving me incorrect information. About a week out from my rental without telling me, they just changed my reserved vehicle from the family RV to a pop up van. These are no where near the same size. When I chatted they said my reserved RV was no longer available, and I could not get a refund. I'm not sure how this could ever be acceptable. They finally got it changed back, but then it happened again later on, and I then again had to waste my time trying to get the correct vehicle back on my reservation, and to adjust the pricing because all of a sudden it was showing it got more expensive. The amount of time I have wasted either emailing them or dealing with their chat bot is insane. There is no way to speak to someone on the phone. Even when we had an issue during our trip and called the support line, that person couldn't even do anything and just told us to email or chat support (which you already know how that goes...). I'm sure a rental could be fine if you have no issues or changes that need to be made, but otherwise dealing with customer support is a true nightmare and I would never recommend anyone even risk dealing with it.
