As a family of experienced RV owners of 35 years, we were shocked by the poor condition of this…read morerental and the company's subsequent behavior. During our Thanksgiving trip, the water system failed (causing us to pay $200 for a dry camping water refill, which then immediately began leaking out) and the refrigerator door detached under normal use. During checkout, the staff had warned us the hinges were "fragile," which we now realize was an admission that the unit was unfit for rental. We contacted the company immediately by text and phone to share what had happened. The most disappointing part was the "bait and switch" on the billing. After acknowledging the issues when we returned the unit, I was pleased to see the company initially issued a credit. But then the company reversed the transaction and added supplemental charges without explanation. Their lack of communication and refusal to stand behind their equipment is unacceptable. Renters beware.

Super Basic. I visited my bf when he was in Surprise for the 2025 MLB Cactus League Spring Training…read moreat Surprise Stadium and he stays in the dry camping area of the RV Park. The RV Park is fairly close to the Texas Rangers/Kansas City Royals Surprise Staffing BB Park, like a 5 minute drive. I only used the Ladies Room but not the shower and the bathroom is kept clean and stocked with TP, paper towels and soap. The bathroom is one at a time use, has a shower, sink, toilet, chair, 2 mirrors and a 2 socket outlet with secure locking door. They give you a hard key for access. I never had to wait to get into the bathroom. I peaked in the shower and I guess it would do in a pinch with flip flops if you had to, however, it was clean - just older with a cloth shower curtain. I'm not a full time RV-er like he is and prefer to use the bathroom facilities outside of the RV. He likes the dry camping area for the price which I'm not sure how much it is. There's a fair amount of traffic at busy times on the main road that runs parallel to the RV Park and a train that goes by in the evening and maybe a couple times per day but neither bothered me. Otherwise it's very quiet RV Park. It's VERY dry and desert (dirt) like at the Park but there's gravel to keep the dust down. I added photos of the Ladies Room and the Park including the dry camping area which is basically a dirt alley along the wall with a single row of RVs. The weather was not too hot, only one day was really hot and it's chilly today, otherwise the weather has been very nice. (Full Disclosure: I considered 81°+ hot, lol. I love the cold weather & he loves the hot weather). I was here for 6 days, 2/26/25 to 3/4/25, so it's a good time to come before the heat arrives. We were lucky enough to see the Budweiser Clydesdales horses, wagon and Dalmatian dog yesterday at the BB Park yesterday. The RV Park sits in an older neighborhood but I felt safe. Surprise is a newer side of town with lots of restaurants and nice grocery stores like Fry's. I added a ton of photos. Hope this helps you if deciding to visit.

The moronic hours wouldn't be so bad though if their mockery of a website actually functioned. I have not 1 singular time been able to pay rent or do anything for that matter on this website. Severely disappointed and grossed out by the lack of minimal job efforts for real functionality. Feels like this bitch is run by high schoolers.

We chose Desert Edge RV Park because everyone seemed so nice at first -- big mistake. We were constantly treated like trash by the front office and talked down to by management. When we had neighbors leaving nails under vehicles, the office's only response was to ask if we had cameras on our camper -- seriously, who has cameras on their camper?! The laundromat and bathrooms were down more often than not because of ongoing water issues, and they regularly shut off the water to the sites for "maintenance." The spots are hard to distinguish, there are potholes everywhere, and for what they charge, you'd think they could fix the roads before someone's trailer gets damaged. It doesn't rain much in Arizona, but when it does, this place is not prepared for flash flooding. The landscaping is barely maintained, but if you're even a day late on your payment, they hit you with a $50-per-day late fee. They have strict rules and high expectations for guests but don't hold themselves to the same standards. Save yourself the stress -- we will not be back.

When you park and set everything up, the next person's septic hookup is literally right by your picnic table and grill, like a couple feet away. You can smell it, especially when it gets hot, and it's pretty nasty. The pool is overloaded with chlorine and most of the lights don't even work. I'd say around 70% of the lights are out, including the ones inside the pool, so it just feels poorly maintained. The bathrooms look like they haven't been updated in decades. Everything is worn down and cheap. Even something basic like a toilet paper holder isn't there, the roll just sits on a rail leaning against the wall. The dump area smells terrible, like rotting waste, and overall a lot of the park smells like cigarettes and septic. For $112 a night, it's honestly not worth it at all. This place feels like a 1 star at best and I definitely won't be coming back. Only positive thing I can say is the security guy was really nice.
