The moronic hours wouldn't be so bad though if their mockery of a website actually functioned. I have not 1 singular time been able to pay rent or do anything for that matter on this website. You get incorrect information, if any information at all, and are met with several errors and unfunctioning buttons when making an attempt. My husband and I came into town for a couple of months while I was 8 1/2 months pregnant to have our baby near his family. We chose Desert Edge RV Park because everyone seemed so nice at first -- big mistake. We were constantly treated like trash by the front office and talked down to by management. When we had neighbors leaving nails under vehicles, the office's only response was to ask if we had cameras on our camper -- seriously, who has cameras on their camper?! The laundromat and bathrooms were down more often than not because of ongoing water issues, and they regularly shut off the water to the sites for "maintenance." The spots are hard to distinguish, there are potholes everywhere, and for what they charge, you'd think they could fix the roads before someone's trailer gets damaged. It doesn't rain much in Arizona, but when it does, this place is not prepared for flash flooding. The landscaping is barely maintained, but if you're even a day late on your payment, they hit you with a $50-per-day late fee. They have strict rules and high expectations for guests but don't hold themselves to the same standards. Save yourself the stress -- we will not be back. read more

An RV park mixed with full-time residents and part timers including snowbirds like us. We arrived late January in the middle of a Phoenix cold snap with rain, hail and snow in some parts of the Valley! It knocked out the Internet here which wasn't restored until a long while later -- and only operative near the office and the clubhouse -- the main room closed because of Covid. There went my snowbird dream of sitting on my patio slab in a lawn chair, a cool drink beside me, working on my writing projects with my WiFi-dependent I-Pad. Fortunately the beautiful pool opened when the weather turned warmer the end of February, yet the neighbors informed us the pool heater stopped functioning and the water started to cool. Because of Covid, no lounge chairs or any chairs for that matter surrounded the pool; no places to sit except with our derrières on the deck. A laundry room sits near the clubhouse with 6 regular washers and two additional washers that accommodate large loads, yet both of the latter had broken down and weren't repaired within the two months we stayed. Cost: $2.25 to wash and 25 cents for each 5 minutes to dry. Spaces between trailers is acceptable. Concrete patio slabs and small picnic tables outside each rig site -- a great addition! Drawbacks include (1) the proximity to Interstate 17 with a brick wall separating the freeway from the RV park and (2) an exceptionally loud Williams Drive, along the east/west perimeter of the park. A short portion is divided by a brick wall, yet the majority is divided by a chain-link fence and oleanders. After dark, this section of Williams becomes a raceway for crotch rockets (motorcycles) and a parking lot for 18-wheeler cabs whose drivers may sleep while running their engines. The nearby Deer Valley Airport offers the humming and sometimes growling of planes ascending and descending, yet that is rather soothing, much like a sound machine drowning out the adjacent noises. Fruit trees scattered among the property offer oranges available for picking; also a sweet perk if one can reach them without a ladder. And the park is close to plenty of shopping, restaurants, and a trauma hospital (if such a need arises). We did have a small charcoal BBQ stolen off our picnic table in the middle of the night and an Amazon package supposedly delivered to space number, not our mailbox number (my error) where an unknown recipient never attempted to find us. So... all in all, the park has pluses and minuses. Water pressure--pretty sad, yet grounds upkeep-- top-notch. Will we return? Maybe. More likely--not. Yet that decision is up to each RV-er. You must decide for yourself. read more

We have family in Phoenix so we've been staying here for 10+ years. The park has new owners and they've done a lot to modernize and improve the aesthetics of the park. The RV spaces are well maintained and some of them have new utility connections. The restrooms are newly remodeled. They're small but nice. There's a new wifi system although it didn't work reliably on our recent visit. The park has gotten lots of new paint and looks much nicer than previously. It is also much quieter than it used to be. Many of the noisy full timers are gone. The online reservation system still doesn't work as smoothly as it should. Last but not least- if you're planning to visit during Spring Training or the Super Bowl, forget it. The park will be all filled up! All in all, though, Desert's Edge is a nice park - and one of a very few in Phoenix that welcomes children. read more

I feel so lucky to have found this place. Easy in easy out. Great amenities, including a dog bath! Everything was so clean! We came in with a 26' motor home and towing a 12' trailer. When I called and made the reservation the lady was amazingly helpful and was able to accommodate us on short notice, in a pull through site with full hook-ups! If you are considering staying at Deserts Edge RV Park( if you can get anybody to answer the phone or call you back) is an ok place to stay. We called for seven days straight, all day long, all hours of the day and every single time, a recorder picked up and said "mailbox is full. " You cannot leave a message. Recording says "Please call during business hours, which we did." How do you run a business if you don't return phone calls and dont have a working website? When they finally did call us back, more than a week afer out last attempt, they assigned us a site and when we arrived, someone else was parked there for two days, but no one was at the office and no one answered the phone to help us rectify. So, we took the RV spot next to the one we are assigned, hoping that someone wasn't going to pound on our door in the middle of the night, asking us to move. The people that parked next to us, took up so much of our campsite we could not use the designated parking spot because their Rig was encroaching into our spot. We had to park so close to RV we could barely get the door open to get in. Knocking on their door was useless and the office again was closed and nobody to assist. This RV park is next to a shipping cargo lot and semis are driving by all hours of the night with their compression breaks, halling ass down Williamson Street and it's a total nuisance. it woke us up every night and early in the AM. Ask for a spot far, far away from the dog park because that thing reeks to high heaven. Oooohhh myyyy! If you're choosing to stay here, it's probably based on either family living nearby or because it's close to the freeway, but it's not an attractive area by any stretch of the imagination. We stayed here for 6 months! This park is friendly, extremely clean and always on top of maintenance in the park! Office workers are so friendly and do a great job of organizing packages and any mail they receive for guests. The pool is heated and so clean. Hot tub has occasional maintenance but also wonderful. They have orange trees through out the park you can ask for pickers in the office to enjoy some of your own when they are in season! So fun for the kiddos or just to enjoy. They have daily activities, entertainment and events you can enjoy to meet other campers! They switch it up every month but also do have usual free coffee every morning from 6-9am and pancake breakfasts every Saturday (also free for campers) Two mini dog parks! Perfect for running a little energy off and amazing dog washing station. Super dog friendly park. We had Caitlin watch our dogs for us too (she works at the front office and she did an amazing job) Can't recommend this park enough! read more

I don't recommend this place for pop-up trailer camping. They put us in the worst site, sticking out across from office. Freeway noise and lights from cars all night long. I don't recommend taking a shower in the women's bathroom. The water backed up to the top of my feet as I was washing my hair. Gross! I could see hair floating out of the drain along with other UFOs. Unidentified floating objects. Also when we first arrived late at night the electricity to our trailer wouldn't work. I do recommend, if you do go, check the ground around your site. Ours had some random metal dowel sticking up about 3 inches. It was fortunate someone didn't trip over it. I alerted management and they hammered it down. Thank goodness we didn't go there to just camp and relax. read more

I have lived in this park a little over a year and I love it! Since I have lived here, it switched owners. I have not met them, because they are so busy making updates, but Mary in the front office is great! Katie and Eric are always super helpful too. The maintenance crew works their butts off all year long. As far as residents, I haven't interacted much with too many, but the ones I have have been your typical friendly travelers. I am so disappointed in this RV Park. I recognize the need for a return policy, we have actually received two different policies. However, I do not recognize one that is taking such advantage over people. In the mitt's of this country's national crisis these people, even after a two weeks notice refuses to refund our two day trip through Phoenix. Several states and soon to be more has a stay put directive on travel. Every cruise, hotel, resort, airline has refunded passengers in lu of their policy in order to support this nations concern over Coronavirus. This RV Park has decided that they are going to take everyone's money anyway. All other parks we scheduled with Even KOA has completely refunded and without their normal $10 cancellation fee. Not as impressed with this park as I had hoped to be. The park is clean, close to the freeway, and the office staff are nice. Their website advertises many enticing amenities, but don't expect to have use of these when you move in because they have been paved over to make way for more RV sites. The basket ball court, putting green, dog run, and dog wash have all been removed to cram more people into the park... The majority of residents also appear to be retired, and it would seem this park is going 55+. I don't have any kids, but I would not recommend this park to anyone with a family. I don't have a problem with the size of the sites but some people do. In the last two days I've seen two rigs crash into another parked RV, and a parking barricade. read more

Great RV park. The staff does a great job in maintaining the site. There is never trash or litter and the upkeep of the landscape as well as the areas like the pool, etc..,, are well maintained. They are pet and child friendly. They provide dog waste bags throughout the park and I've never seen dog poo! They have onsite laundry that is reasonable and a very nice grilling area!! read more

We recently stayed at Desert's Edge Rv Village for baseball spring training. The entire place was immaculate and well run. It's a family owned and operated business. The pull thru RV spots we're oversized and super easy to get in and out of. All the bathrooms, laundry, and common areas were immaculately clean and kept up (that was important to me and my kids). Desert's Edge Rv Village is centrally located close enough for a quick day trip to Sedona, or go shopping downtown Scottsdale. We usually stay during spring training. To catch some games and golf. Next year we hope to go to Barret Jackson car auction also. We can't wait to come back to Desert's Edge Rv Village. Its 5 stars all the way read more

Hubby and I stayed here one night~ that's all I could stand! They forgot to mention the Noise included in the whopping price of $47.00 per night in the description of this park. We had just come from camping in the desert of peace and quiet to this? A Freeway just about next to it and and an Airport!?! I love hearing planes touch and go for hours. Gee, also the guy revving up his engine and dragging up and down the empty business park streets at 2am was sensational! You are packed in like sardines with no cable? Doesn't get any better than this! :-( They did have a nice dog wash area which we used, laundry facility and pool. The grounds were clean. Older and kept up. People were friendly. Park has some good sites, the staff is friendly, but the bathrooms haven't been properly cleaned in nearly 2 months. There is mold in the showers, people's trash laying in the showers, and hasn't been dusted in ages. I like the location, the east side of the park gets little highway noise, and I don't mind the airport noise (lots of WWII era planes fly in and out). Pretty nice place, but the bathrooms are really out of hand. read more

The Desert's Edge RV Village is located just north of Phoenix in an industrial area. A good location while visiting Phoenix. The staff is extremely friendly an nice. There are lots of amenities-heated pool and hot tub, dog park ( walking area), community room with a pool table and games, and a nice laundry room with newer washers and dryers. The space provided is big enough of a for a class C and comes with a picnic table, a small concrete "porch" and a extra parking space. The only negative is you are packed in like sardines. There is not any privacy between you and your neighbor. read more

Location is close to Mariners Spring Training Complex. The bathrooms are inadequate that are cleaned ONLY 3 times a week. 3 out of 6 Washing machines have been out of order for a week. We used to stay here constantly UNTIL the new owners. THEY DON'T TAKE CASH! I work a lot of events and my credit cards get tied up with the events and my bank is out of state So depositing money to transfer it is impossible to say the last When your working 14 hour days at events. THEY wouldn't work with us and since i get the site for my husband to have with my 5yr old son to relax it was insane that they instead told us he would have to walk to god knows where to get the money order..the closest place is a 30 minute walk (in the heat with a 5 yrold mind you)... Decent RV Park except for nonfunctional WiFi Tengo Internet which is $15/week for nothing. Don't bother with that! Laundry is more than adequate. Sites have some landscape which is nice in Arizona. All sites have a concrete patio and a picnic table. Close to shopping, movies, etc. the airport close by has constant plane noise, but that didn't bother me as much as no internet service. read more

We have stayed here many times. This visit was a bit challenging. Made RSVP a month in advance. Arrived and was told we were scheduled for tomorrow? After locating our reservation it was noted it had been typed in wrong. Weekend management asked us to walk around the park to look for vacate spots? We requested a spot was told we would have to move in the morning because of someone else reservation? It was a mess. Next morning the manager took care of our concerns. We did not have to move. I was a little miffed that their website states they have a Good Sam 10% discount, only to be told they do not anymore? They would not honor their own site information which I showed them. Highly recommend they update their site quickly and accurately. Over the Easter Holiday office was closed. 2 RVs arrived to find their reservations were not posted and no one to help them. I recommended them to find an open spot and settle it Monday, which they did. Seemed very unprofessional of the management knowing they had arriving clients. After all this, it has been noted the park has changed owners. Lots of changes, landscaping, more RV slots, nicer dog area, clean bathrooms, laundry room (many machines were out of order), clean pool and recreation room. They started a daily activity program also. I do recommend this park even if management bumps are being felt. I'm hopeful in time these bugs would be taken care of. read more

Check out time noon. We arrived 1:20 our pull thru site occupied for another 2 hrs. We could wait with our 5th wheel or they would move us to a back in larger site, same rate. What a joke, no way larger - site 805. Our patio faces/touches patio for site 717. No privacy. The entire section is packed in like sardines. This place is a classic "our way or the highway," type of place with gross customer indifference. We stayed there for a week. The WiFi would not function anywhere in the park. When I asked for a small partial refund, I was treated with surprising rudeness by the staff. And even talking to management was an ordeal. They rarely, if ever, answer their phone. The moment they know you might be complaining about anything, they clam up and refuse to talk. They are very difficult to corner. It appears to me that they are now very complacent about running their business. It's like some businesses you frequent that think they are doing well enough that they no longer have to listen to or talk to their customers because they are happy with their cash flow. They foster an attitude that screams that "if you have a problem, too bad!, there are other people who want the spot." There actually aren't a ton of competitors in this Phoenix area for this park. I think that fact encourages their surliness. I would also note that the park is located in the middle of an industrial district. It does have high walls that keeps out most, but not all of the sound. But going for a walk outside the place is not beautiful. Overall, I would recommend trying to find another place, if possible. If you can't find anywhere else, then it might go OK. Just don't expect them to reasonably address any legitimate customer concerns. read more

We stayed here for a month this season. The location is good, but the spots are a little close together and the cable is very basic (mostly junk channels no one watches). The laundry is way overpriced and limited machines available. Four dryers and one out of service the ENTIRE time. Also 2 washers out of service. The pool is nice and there is a community room where you can play pool or watch tv while you wait for laundry. There's a small fitness room in this area as well. My daughter enjoyed the swings and slide and there are designated dog areas. If you stay here beware of airport noise! Overall, it was a decent place to stay and the location made it very easy to get around. read more
