I felt like my house would just be one of the thousands of other properties they manage across the county. So much that it took her hours of telling us how to use it, that it was too late for a technician to come. It was so hot, we had to be outside. We had 10 people. 1 was pregnant, and 4 more of us were not drinking. She tried to charge $1,000 for a noise complaint that was never made. Which she says that her neighbor took "multiple videos and photos" of our "house party" of girls in the pool with bikinis on! She never sent the actual video that we can listen to. Just a screenshot. But that pretty creepy of the neighbor to take videos of girls in the pool. So maybe don't use the pool if you stay at her house in phoenix. . Besides that, going back to the house being 86 DEGREES and her not caring or being apologetic at all. It was finally fixed 6:30 pm on Saturday, but it probably took until 8pm to cool from 86 degrees to 73. Not once were we rude to her. We could've been under these circumstances. Sorry your ego is fragile and you're unable to take constructive criticism. A woman of your age, I would expect a bit more professionalism and maturity. House is cute tho! Good job decorating! PS. We don't need your money. Your house with no ac just wasn't worth it. But thanks for the feedback. A budget in or hostel would've probably had better service and AC. So, we decided to go with a "we buy homes fast for cash" company and focused on those with good reviews. RIght away, we ran into problems finding a company that worked with rural vacation properties (like cabins and small houses such as ours). But Reed Lattin and All Homes AZ had absolutely no qualms with our property. They have over 10 years of experience and were used to dealing with homes of all kinds throughout Arizona. Reed was the complete professional, explaining the process thoroughly, He emphasized there were absolutely no sales commissions, fees, or costs of any kind, aside from the usual items addressed in escrow. For example, if you owe HOA fees or past property taxes, the escrow company would make sure these fees were paid to the appropriate authorities from the money you received in the sale. Reed was personable and laid-back. He didn't have any high pressure sales tactics that could make a customer feel uncomfortable. His escrow team at Pioneer Title Agency were also very friendly and responsive. (Thank you, Diana Olson and Debby Phillips!) The whole procedure went much quicker than I imagined. Reed met us in snowy weather in Pinetop just a few days after the initial phone call. That same day, we agreed to a sales price, and the house closed just a week later, with the funds wired to our bank account on the day of the close. What a smooth, easy process. We rented a property for a family reunion. House was clean and functional. A plumbing issue occurred which caused the drains to not work. Imagine a holiday weekend with a dozen people and no toilets (or drains or water)! Porter was not only unresponsive, taking over 30 minutes to respond to this emergency, they were useless and unwilling to help find a plumber or even respond to Airbnb to enable us to make alternative arrangements. Turns out this property had plumbers on the property before our stay. The plumbers recommended the property not be rented out, but Porter went ahead and rolled the dice with our family. They caused unnecessary grief and were unfazed by a serious issue that was a health emergency. This company has no competence, no respect and no pride. They are unfit for their industry and should be shut down. Do NOT ever rent or set foot in a property that is managed by or has ever been managed by Porter Vacation Rental Management.

We found a dead rat in the pool during our first night in Phoenix. We called Porter to resolve it…read more It took a day for them to have the pool disinfected. In the end they offered us $90 plus tax for our trouble despite that Marriott Homes and Villas. (who we booked through) recommended compensation of $448.50. We booked through Marriott because we wanted a certain level of customer service. In the end they sided with Porter. Porter's customer service is among the worst I've experienced as a frequent traveler.
