This review is based on the sandwiches…read more I have always passed by here and my friend suggested to try this spot out for lunch so I was open to it after seeing pictures of the hero sandwiches. The place is a grocery store that has a deli serving hot lunch and sandwiches. I have gotten the #2 (grilled chicken with smoked mozzarella, roasted peppers) and it was really good and fresh. My second visit I got the #1 since it came with fresh mozzarella with grilled chicken and sun dried tomatoes. This sandwich was solid as well and I believe they put olive oil with it. The bread was fresh and tasty especially since the olive oil soaked well into it. It's a good amount of food, I usually split it in half and have it for lunch and then dinner. I highly recommend Piccolo's if you're in the mood for fresh mozzarella sandwich. * Parking on premise * helpful service * variety of samples to try

Located in a highly industrial area of South Hackensack, and right off of Route 80 is a brick oven bakery called Clemente producing a huge selection of bread, including homemade pizza, focaccia Barese, "sausage bread," zeppole, taralli, biscuits, and friselle Clementini (they're a big wholesaler). The shop also has a ton of prepared food servicing the many office and blue-collar workers in the area; it's an excellent place to have a sandwich made for one. Upon entering as regulars to this local favorite establishment, my partner and I decided on Chicken Cutlet with fresh mozzarella cheese and roasted peppers on a toasted wheat wrap as well as Chicken Salad on a sun-dried tomato wrap for indoor dining. They are not cheap, but one gets what one pays for in terms of taste, freshness, and authenticity. The portions were a healthy size for another meal. We always walk out with a smile and a satisfied stomach.

It is shocking to…read morevisit a grocery store in USA which sells international groceries, specifically Indian grocery and you experience racially biased comments from an employee of the store, you may ask what's the issue. lemme explain what happened. I have shopped from here countless times just because I liked this grocery store very much. Last week I brought a packet of Basmati Rice , I will add a picture of it with description below. When my mother was trying to cook this rice we found stones in the same and the quality of rice is no where close to what we term as Basmati. This morning I went to the store to shop for more items but I forgot to get the rice , its picture or details and as a good Samaritan, I just explained to the female employee of the store what happened. To this she says" what can I do about it " in a very rude and disrespectful manner. So , I asked can you please give me the contact of the owner so that I can talk to him. Her response "You will not get his contact" . Then I was like "could you please be a little less disrespectful to your customers" . Her response "We are respectful only towards our GUJRATI customers" . That is when I revealed that I am Gujrati myself, which kind of shocked her. I even know Mr. Devendra Patel who is the owner of this store but I have lost his number from my phone. Mr. Patel if you are reading this. Please do leave a comment below, I would like you to address to this matter. I think we have done enough business together and the least that we expect from Shree G store which plays devotional music 24/7 is to treat their customers with some respect no matter what color, race, cast, creed, nationality or language they belong to. This is the worst case of racism that I am putting forward here. I highly suggest look into the matter before there are more unhappy customers and you start losing the business which is already on a downfall. I really want you to understand the pain that we had to go through even thou I have been a loyalty card holder, member of the store and have provided enough of my hard earned money to it. The least I expect is some respect for your customers. Yours Truly, Dr. Hrishi Pathak (Paramus , NJ)

It has the best ever produce section of any grocery store I've been to in the New York City area. They have probably six different kinds of eggplants alone. You can get any kind of tropical fruit, any kind of citrus, any kind of grape, any kind of mango... Truly incredible produce. They also have an amazing seafood section. Live fluke, king crab, razor clams, abalone. They really have it all. If you come on a Saturday or Sunday, they have ladies making kimchi, Bulgogi, samples, fresh fruit samples, roasted sweet potatoes to buy. It's a fun environment to walk around in. The food court is a huge disappointment. But there's a great Korean restaurant named Soram next-door that we often have lunch at. Make sure to also visit D'Avant Bakery next-door and pick up a cube of their chestnut bread.
