I normally wouldn't leave a review for a grocery store but sometimes there are exceptions. I shop…read morehere every week for my groceries and I must say that this is the only time that I have ever had any kind of problem with my service here. The prices are always fair, I can almost always find whatever it is that I'm looking for, and the people who work here are always friendly and helpful. If it weren't for those factors I would have given this review a two star instead of a three star. I found a piece of plastic inside of my pre-made pico de gallo and I almost swallowed it. I would normally expect greater quality even from pre-made items so I express myself disappointed. At first I thought it was a piece of onion but the texture of the material was unbreakable and flexed like soft plastic. This has never happened before and I can honestly say that I hope that it won't happen again. I will still come in to purchase my groceries here regularly because there are no better grocery stores in the neighborhood, but they do need to be more careful in the future, especially since they are handling food.

NO diary, nuts, eggs, soy, & sesame. ALWAYS VEGAN. They do sell out fast. On any given day, the staff exemplifies great customer care & service. My only caveat & question, is that it appears everything in the produce section is Organic?

I ADORE Morton Williams. Compared to any other supermarket here in NYC, they are my favorite. Yes…read morethere is Fairway, but it's a ZOO, so stressful and overloaded with products. There is Gristedes but the overall feel there is not good. D'Agostino nearby is downright dirty and depressing. Morton Williams has a GREAT selection of products at excellent prices. For example, their selection of Olive Oils is wonderful, ditto imported cookies. Morton Williams has an organized clean look. It actually (to me) feels cozy. The store is not an overloaded mad house like Fairway. I love the delivery guy Nelson, have used him for years. The manager, Mario, is a super guy as well. All in all, BRAVO to Morton Williams!!!

I'm sure they're overworked however, as a good customer, I would would still get respect and courtesies and I did not when I pointed out a mistake ringing me up overcharging me $10 when I pointed the error out I was treated as if I was trying to . ! I mean, they all know me no apology for their mistake. I can't believe they were so disrespectful so of course if they keep that up, they'll have less customers I should think that they would do the opposite and be overzealous to us and treat us like queen so we but with that attitude, why would we return

While they weren't exactly cheap, they had a pretty decent price at this location compared to others. I've also bought other stuff here in the past for my weekly shop and I've always been happy by how much money I have saved during each visit. I know that this shop has always been in my neighborhood for as long as I can remember but ever since the other grocery stores have started shutting down or raising their prices, I knew that I could rely on this chain to continue having affordable prices.

But yesterday I was disappointed when a gallon of whole milk was spoiled two days after I bought it and six days before the "sell by" date. I brought it back, nearly full, to exchange for a fresh bottle but the manager refused to replace it because I had no receipt. He had seen me there many times, but still refused. I realized they are plagued with shoplifters but there's no way is a gallon of milk is going to be sneaked out of the store. I felt a bit insulted. But - No problem. In the future I'll still be going there but for many items, I'll be spending a lot more money at Trader Joe's, instead. Key Foods loss will be far greater than $4.79. That wasn't very smart.
