I told him I wasn't interested in his personal taste and just wanted a Chardonnay. He responded rudely, saying he couldn't help me because he doesn't like or drink that wine, then just walked off and left me standing in the aisle. A wine shop employee should have broad product knowledge regardless of personal preference. Refusing to help a customer because a wine isn't to your own taste is unprofessional, and the attitude made it worse. I left without the bottles I came in for and won't be going back.
