I can't believe the roll only cost about 11.50 each! I love how affordable they are, they said 50% off for the roles. We also got fried gyoza for appetizer and it was so yummy!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice place inside, very clean and lots of seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food came out pretty fast!

Can't believe this place is still 50% off rolls. Hasn't changed since my college days. But you definitely get what you pay for. Fish isn't the freshest and the rolls are all pretty much drenched in sauce. Not the worst sushi but definitely wouldn't be somewhere I would personally choose to go.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Fresh ingredients , tasty foods, welcoming atmosphere and attentive staffs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I requested a chef's special topped with fried onions and it definitely hit the spot.

On Valentine's Day, celebrated my daughter's 20th birthday here and there was no waiting to be seated. All of the staff members were polite and courteous. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was not crowded initially and decor was pleasant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was excellent.! I love our Arigatos SUSHI. This location just like their others did not disappoint. Be sure to check them home. Let me know what you think.

Review: One of my favorite spots! The Lion King roll is amazing--so flavorful and addicting. I was ordering it almost every day at one point. Great quality food, always fresh. I'll definitely be back!

Located in a plaza filled with other establishments, Arigato Sushi sits right next to Belair. There are plenty of parking spaces since it's a shared lot. Walking into Arigato Sushi, you are warmly greeted by the workers there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are a lot of tables mainly 2 or 4 seaters.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Just to start off, my partner and I got the dragon roll, k.k special, orange blossom, and a Lion king roll, Overall, they are good portion size and their rice is fresh without the overwhelming vinegar taste like at other sushi spots. Some pieces of the rolls like the dragon roll and orange blossom had a lot of avocado to the point where I mainly tasted just that. Most of their rolls also have unagi sauce drizzled on and there aren't many salmon options. They mainly favor tuna for their sushi roll options. The lion king was the only roll that tasted more of the bland side. It was served warm but the flavor was lacking. The entire roll also kept breaking apart. Besides all that, I think the rolls tasted great for what it's worth! It reminds me of Sushi Hook prices in relation to their quality but unfortunately that's a bit too far away from me now. Considering that these rolls were 50% off and therefore ranged around an affordable $8-$13 per roll, I would consider this my go to sushi spot for now. I would come back here if I was on a budget and craved sushi.

Walking in I was seated right away on a Sunday Night. The restaurant wasn't busy and the servers are attentive but not overbearing. I do like their ascent roll with the fishes. Overall, all the rolls had a big avocado portion where it overpowered the roll with the unagi sauce. I ordered the Lion King, Dragon, Orange Blossom, and K.K. Special. Some key takeaways that I experienced is that the Lion king kept breaking apart but the rolls were decent size. The fish also wasn't fishy and came out at a decent time. I would definitely come back.

This is my sister's fav. sushi spot, so we came with her on a random Tuesday night. Our experience wasn't the best, but she said it's not typically like that. The place was cute & the staff was nice, but I don't know if they were prepared for a busy evening. Our food took a while to come out and a lot of it didn't match the descriptions on the menu (or even the pictures in the menu). Their miso soup, tempura & spicy edamame were my favs. Super flavorful!

A lovely Friday afternoon. Just had some blood drawn after fasting all day. The venue offers both tables and booths for seating and is a bright and open space. I ordered a Bento box lunch with two items - grilled mackerel and shrimp and vegetable tempura. The box also included soup, salad, and rice. The presentation was nice and everything was hot and freshly prepared. The food was delicious and the service was good. The location is in a busy strip mall with plenty of parking allowing for easy access. I have been here several times and have always had a good experience. They offer a wide variety of sushi but I can't comment on the quality of their offerings. I recommend you visit here if you are in the neighborhood and would like Japanese food or sushi.

I got the Stuffed Crunch and Crazy Horse which were amazing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself was cozy and tucked in a shopping center that we went to on a Sunday night at 6:30 pm and there was plenty of parking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was super nice, staying in top of our waters and bringing us extra ginger.

    Sea steak. Tasty!

The fish is extremely fresh and every selection is really good! My kiddos love their rolls and Bento boxes, and I love their pepperfin, albacore on fire, large sashimi mix, and their agadashi tofu! We come here pretty often being it's so close to home! We enjoy the service, the ambiance, and everything in between!

Come noon, and checking my ETA to Los Angeles already pushed back to 21:00 PM, I decided to drive my rig in town to get something to eat before making that 10 hour drive down south. And I settled for Wabune Sushi in the Raleys Grocery Store plaza. So onto the review: I ordered a ton of food, and even wrote everything down on paper for the newbie server. Hamachi Kama: felt it wasnt Krispy or charred enough. 3.5/5 Volcano Mushrooms: wasn't what I was expecting, it was just a bunch of shrooms, battered up with some cream cheese 2.5/5 **would skip ordering this Douglas Roll: wasn't anything worth remembering, as in typing this an hour 1/2 later, I cannot recall what was in the Douglas Roll besides red sauce and spicy tuna, shrimp tempura....so it must have been a mediocre roll 3/5 Chirashi Bowl: was ok, sashimi was fresh, but nothing along the levels of Sushi Gen in Little Tokyo Los Angeles 4/5 Uni: I want to allege after finishing both Uni Nigiri that this wasn't the freshest, because of the complex after taste, it was somewhat bitter with a fishy aftertaste and the coloring was a bit dark. If you ever go to a Mitsuwas or Marukai or Nijiya and look for that shining glistening gold packaged air-imprted Uni...yeah. You'll know what I mean. Totally different. 3 2.5/5 Amaebi: Corral Sweet Shrimp Raw Nigiri: probably the only shining star or the 4/5 *Although I suggest next time removing the heads of the shrimp and steeping them with Miso soup for an additional layer of presentation, it would give the Miso soup more Umami And what else am I missing.....yes the Oysters at Market Price ($16.00) Ok aside from the fact the restaurant operators couldn't really name where the oysters were from...I'm assuming it's frozen oysters...I wanted to give this starter a higher score, but Everytime I slurp, I get fragments of the Oyster shells in my mouth, and honestly, I find the oysters that you can get at Wholefoods market Alot of times better quality and taste (being better quality oysters are sweeter and have less of that Seafood aftertaste. So unfortunately I have to give this order a 2.5/5 even though I finished it because the ponzu and chilli sauces they used really masked the natural tastes of the oyster. Mochi Green Tea Ice Cream: Skip. This is just supermarket mochi ice cream, you can pick up better at Sprouts or Wholefoods. 3/5

The chicken katsu is still one of the best I've had--light, crispy, and perfectly crunchy on the outside, with juicy, tender chicken inside. Every visit has been consistently delicious, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I also tried the spicy pork again. It's a bit different from the Korean spicy pork I'm used to. Instead of the pork being marinated so the flavor is deeply infused, it seems to be grilled first and then coated with the sauce. While it's not the traditional style I expected, it's still flavorful and worth trying if you're open to a different take on the dish. In addition the chicken gangjeong dish that requires it to be "deep fried chicken" needs additional time to get crunchy like you would expect. I think the sauce may have made the crunch disappear. The consistency in both the food and the service is what keeps bringing me back. I'm looking forward to working my way through the rest of the menu. Other: -plenty of parking -bathroom inside -on hot days it's a little warm in the restuaruant *local family business*

Crispy, golden breading with a juicy pork cutlet underneath, smothered in a rich, savory Japanese-style curry that was comforting without being too heavy. Served with rice and fresh cabbage slaw, it made for a complete, satisfying meal. The bibimbap was fresh and well balanced, with plenty of vegetables, tender beef, and a perfectly fried egg that tied everything together. Every bite had a great mix of textures and flavor. The vibe is casual and welcoming. This is the kind of neighborhood spot you'll want to come back to whenever you're craving Korean comfort food. When we walked in, the place seemed a bit light on customers, and we were politely informed that the food might take longer than usual due to understaffing. We weren't necessarily in a rush, so we proceeded with ordering. To start, we had the Melting Albacore. It sounded similar to a dish we've had at another restaurant, so we just had to get it to compare. The presentation wasn't great. The daikon looked like it was just slapped on the plate with the sauce. Perhaps sauce in a ramekin on the side could help clean up the presentation. The fish quality was alright, and the crab mix was decent. It felt like maybe the sauce was actively there to cover up where some parts of the dish were lacking. Not a terrible dish overall, but I think it needs better execution. The two rolls we got were the North Star and Aspen. Both decent rolls, but the Aspen really shined (ironic given the other name) with punchier flavors from the lemon and jalapeños. Also, the torch helped to make all the flavors more cohesive. The North Star brought in a better assortment of fish, but similar to the Melting Albacore dish, I wasn't a huge fan of the fish quality. Will I come back here? Probably not, but I do have to give it to our server. She was so amicable that it was hard to really have a negative thought about the dining experience at the time. Also, I thought the dishes came out within a reasonable timeframe, even if they weren't understaffed.
