I had an extremely disappointing experience with Elio's Optical. I spent $800 on a pair of glasses…read morethat I have never been able to see properly with. From day one, something felt off -- my vision was not clear, and the prescription didn't seem right at all. What makes this even more frustrating is their complete lack of accountability. Despite me calling about a month and a half ago to explain that the glasses weren't working, they are now refusing to even check if the original eye exam may have been done incorrectly. Their only response is that I passed their one-month window, even though I did reach out within a reasonable time. Now they expect me to pay for another eye exam and purchase new lenses -- which would likely cost me another $800 -- just to fix an issue that may have been their mistake in the first place. For a business that charges premium prices, I expected much better customer service and professionalism. Instead, I feel like they only care about getting paid, not about whether their customers can actually see properly. I would not recommend Elio's Optical to anyone.

The doctor that conducted her vision exam was very knowledgeable and professional. She took the time to listen to my mother, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire visit. After my mother's exam was finished, Shely took care of us. Her expertise and patience were truly impressive--she never hurried, responded to every question in detail, and consistently went the extra mile to make sure my mother felt comfortable and well cared for. It's uncommon to meet someone with such professional skill paired with sincere warmth and compassion. If you're seeking exceptional service and someone genuinely invested in your eye health, be sure to ask for Shely, the optician. Reyes Vision Care is fortunate to have her on their team, and I highly recommend her to anyone.

I'm disappointed with my experience at Laria Eye Care. I am a doctor myself and I understand how…read morehealthcare works. I have many issues with this office. First of all I booked the very first appointment so I can get in and out quickly. My entire visit was over one hour and I feel like most of the time at this office was just WAITING. The way they structure their visits are as follows: they double book each timeslot so there are two patients per timeslot. They have different stations where they have the patient first get their initial screening, and then do this prescription check and then contact lens fitting or glasses fitting etc. Each station takes an excessive amount of time and they basically shuttle patients through each station. The contact lens fitting is absolutely ridiculous and a scam in my opinion. If there is no change to prescription and if I've had no issues with my contacts, why do I need an annual fitting for contact lenses where the "fitting" costs $75 each time and only took the optometrist 30 seconds to do? I will gladly update this review if I have a better experience next time, but I for sure HOPE that this business changes their practices to be more patient centered and to honor and respect people's time rather than trying to shuttle as many patients in as possible to make a profit.

BEWARE: This Optical Shop Blames Everyone But Themselves!…read more Let me spell it out: International Opticians is now the absolute worst of the worst. They have fallen apart since Lino and José left, and they are completely shameless. Not only did they mess up my prescription twice and blame the amazing Dr. González (who had nothing to do with their incompetence), but when I needed them to honor the warranty, they used the excuse that they had "sold the business" and that the lens company under the new owner wouldn't recognize it. They tried to weasel out of their own mistakes by saying I had requested fixes three times--when in fact it was their own repeated errors. People need to know how disgraceful this place has become. They act like they're doing you a favor for fixing their own blunders. I lost my money, I lost my time. Truly, they have hit rock bottom. Beware of how they treat their customers now! ¡CUIDADO: Esta Óptica Culpa a Todos Menos a Ellos Mismos!

I can't express this enough. Do not go here! I have my usual doctor but I had to go somewhere last…read moreminute so I booked with Dr. Casas to do my glasses before I left. Since I couldn't get one with my usual doctor in time. Big mistake on my end. I should have just waited. First and foremost, the doctor always has an attitude. Didn't do my presciption right and kept blaming it on where I did my glasses. I couldn't get them done at Lenscrafters because the prices are outrageous. So I did it with Warby Parker. I've never had an issue with them. She said it was a problem with this and that and this and that and I followed everything she said. Went in person, switch the glasses, got anti-glare, got them extra thin, etc. Yet I still couldn't see properly. She kept saying it was Warby Parker. Girl, I've been going for YEARS and have never had an issue. I had to go back three times, telling her each time, I still couldn't see. She kept saying it was fine and that a person with my high prescription and high astigmatism would never see perfectly. Well, I've never had an issue before so, what are you talking about? When I suggested the problem is the presciption she got so offended. As if that's so unheard of? You're a human being, mistakes will happen. Also every person working has an attitude give or take a few people. There was one woman there, who worked for the LensCrafters side of things, who was so sweet and always so patient (cause I kept trying to see if there were any glasses I could afford). Anyway, they kept blaming me for their mistakes. Then wanted me to pay another 50 dollars to change contact lense brands...that has never happened me before. Why would I have to pay another 50 dollars to change brands for my contact lenses, that's crazy. I don't have that kind of money and I could barely afford the glasses and contacts exam. I understand they have a way of doing things and I would have done it, if not for the having me pay more money. If they knew I would have to pay 50 dollars to change brands, why wouldn't the doctor just ask me what contacts I'm comfortable with? Why not tell me they had this policy and if I wanted to change brands that would be on me? When this was pointed out to them, they blamed me...are you serious? Just so inconsiderate of people's money. The doctor was so passive aggressive and made me feel so uncomfortable. I've never had such an awful experience with an eye doctor before.
