Can I give zero stars? I was a new patient. I came for my appointment and was immediately met with attitude, no "hello", nothing. Extremely rude behavior from either the dental assistant or receptionist. There was zero communication that I couldn't bring my children (plenty old enough to sit with their tablets). The dentist came, and said "how can we make this right" then immediately asked "so do you have someone to watch the kids". I have never been to any appointment where I was met with such ridiculously rude behavior. My children have attended many of my appointments for other medical needs. If you are ok with working with people who aren't the slightest bit willing to work with their patients, and be even slightly kind then this is the place for you! If you want to be met with basic respect, don't go. It's simple, and it makes a difference. Period. I'd like to update the review based on what would occur later BECAUSE I provided a transparent review. After I left this review, Ariata would then charge me $50 for a cancellation. The reason for me saying "I need to find a new dentist" and originally choosing to leave with my two children is I no longer felt safe. I couldn't in my right mind allow him to proceed with the appointment. When I saw the charge, I called to respectfully ask to reverse the charge and the dentist quite literally was yelling at me on the phone saying "I was going to do you a courtesy of walking out because of your circumstances BUT then I saw your review... f*** around and find out". I was appalled. This man was absolutely unhinged on the phone and accused me of things that never happened. He then began to insult me as a mother and accuse me of leaving my children unattended when, that never happened, and that was never something that I planned on happening. Ever. The "conversation" would continue to be him speaking aggressively and saying that he will not reverse the $50 charge. Throughout this conversation, my asks were very simple: please add clear communication to new patients and on your website that kids are not allowed in the office and second to please reverse the charge. That is it. Ultimately, it was an absolutely horrific experience and I write this to make others aware that if you attend or plan to attend this dentist office, please do so CAREFULLY. read more

Ive never left a review for a dentist before but I had such a good time here at Ariata Dental. The dentist is super kind and straight forward, it felt safe and clean in there. I appreciate they have high standards for care. I see other people's reviews and the negative ones have nothing to do with their practice/ services and seem to have more to do with their own personal lack of childcare I would disregard those comments. So I had a teeth cleaning lined up. I had to bring a 5 year old with me. The dentist came out and told me he was canceling my appointment cause I had a kid with me and he couldn't watch me. So then he was gone charge me a cancellation fee. So then, as he was telling me, it was common sense that I shouldn't have a kid with me. He went on to tell me that now that he has to cancel my appointment that he saw to pay that girl $80 an hour and pay that girl $80 an hour and how he lives at home with his parents.. go complaining all this to a paraplegic in a wheelchair. I don't get what his point was. Then I asked him about a bill and he started going off about how insurances don't pay anything and how he makes no money off of most of our insurances and then was talking about how the healthcare guy got killed.. then in front of a five year-old he was dropping the F word. I can't express enough how much I used to hate going to the dentist. But Dr. Ariata and his staff changed that. Scheduled an appointment online- get a screenshot of my appointment, I arranged my day around this, arrive to be told I don't have an appointment. Front desk tells me that I would receive a phone call and that's verification- no where on the website does it state this or on the 'verification screen' that apparently is not a 'verification'. So just wasted my day and schedule. Not exactly what I would recommend as an efficient office. Go somewhere where verification actually means verification and don't waste your time. I walked into Ariata this morning with an appointment to get two wisdom teeth pulled. I was in a chair in five minutes and out of the office after only forty minutes. Both teeth came out painlessly and I really felt that the staff cared about me. I was frequently coached and asked how I was feeling. They made me as comfortable as possible and reassured me every step of the way. As far as tooth extractions go this one was top notch. I also had a cleaning and some fillings here and the experience was the same. Very thoughtful staff and relatively painless. This is an absolutely incredible dentists office that I very highly recommend! It should also be said that they were very inexpensive regardless of the fact that so much of the equipment was state-of-the-art. Don't look for another dentist. Go to Ariata! read more

Extremely unprofessional! This dentist and I had differing views on a couple, key treatment modalities. He asked "Where did I get my information...google?" And then proceeded to tell me, "that he wouldn't have hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loan debt if he didn't know what he was talking about". He then stated that he would rather refer me to someone else who shares the same mindset....dismissing me from his practice...after being there for three hours with my three kids! Moving to Illinois from California was hard enough. I'm so glad I found Dr. Hosseini. I was researching for a while, really needed to find a Dentist. I couldn't be happier and more satisfied. The equipment and technology is phenomenal! So convenient, comfortable and all staff very caring and professional. I was visiting Chicago and unfortunately had to deal with a broken crown, after searching on yelp and google I came across this place, call them to book an appointment and when they found out that I was from a different state and had to leave in 2 days, they accommodated me the next day, I got to meet DR Ari and he was very welcoming and professional, I much as I don't like dentists that much but shortly after meeting him I felt very comfortable. Dr. Hosseini and his staff are always professional and friendly. I had a sensitive tooth and needed to go in. Dr. Hosseini gave me a thorough through exam. He established I needed a filling. He was able to do this without a shot, and used a laser instead of traditional methods. I walked out of the office feeling great! I needed a permanent crown on a tooth that had had a root canal. Dr. Hosseini was very professional and explained to me what needed to be done and what instruments he would be using. This office has very advanced technology that made the process painless and very precise. The crown was done in one visit, instead of taking impression and waiting 2 weeks for the crown to be done.
