More time passed, and at 12:05 she asked staff again. THEN she was told another patient had problems and it might be 10 more minutes. OUR disappointment was NOT being kept informed by staff during the passing time. My friend was called back within the additional 10 minute time frame and is currently having her extractions done. On September 4, 2026, I had two of my front teeth prepared for permanent crowns and paid for the entire treatment in full. More than five weeks later, I am still waiting for my permanent crowns. Every single appointment has been rescheduled at the last minute. I have repeatedly rearranged my work schedule and personal responsibilities, only to receive another cancellation. During this time, one of my temporary crowns fell off, and I had to wait two days to be seen. I could barely eat normally during that period. To make matters worse, my dentist instructed me to stop wearing my orthodontic retainers because they could dislodge the temporary crowns. I have now gone more than a week without wearing them, putting my previous orthodontic results at potential risk. My appointment for October 9 was supposed to finally complete the treatment, but once again, the office called that morning to reschedule. What makes this situation especially frustrating is that I have already paid for everything in full, yet I am left with unfinished dental work, ongoing inconvenience, and no reliable completion date. After another last-minute cancellation, I submitted a formal complaint to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). Reading other patients' reviews describing the exact same scheduling problems makes this experience even more concerning. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but repeatedly canceling appointments at the last minute while leaving patients with unfinished treatment is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability, communication, and consideration for patients' time and well-being. I would not recommend this office based on my experience.

I was referred here by my dentist for an infected root canal…read more The office is very obviously new and nicely renovated. They have a mini fridge available with waters in the waiting room and a coffee station. Once called back, the appointment felt rushed. I had imaging done and then had a 2-3 minute interaction with Dr. Max. There was no discussion of options, risks, etc. I was prescribed an antibiotic and told to schedule the next two appointments for root canal retreatment. I was a bit disoriented. I did as asked but eventually cancelled those two follow up appointments and scheduled with a different practice with more time for patient care and education.

Update 06/25/2026: Today Dr. Max treated my old faulty root…read morecanal, and he demonstrated superb skill, bedside manners, and, most importantly, True Care. I saw my oral surgeon this morning, before seeing Dr. Max, and the surgeon told me that Dr. Max contacted him asking for his 2nd opinion on a questionable area around the tooth he was treating (not his root canal), and Dr. Max told me that he also discussed that area with my general dentist. Now that's a true CARE, isn't it? But perhaps I shouldn't marvel why Dr. Max is so exceptionally caring and instead marvel why not all dentists and doctors are this way, since doctors are supposed to care for and about their patients and put their interests first. AMAZING DOCTOR!
