I have been coming to Aria for the past 2 years, the prices have been very reasonable!

I've been going here for the past 6 months. A few days ago they did a horrible job. I paid $120 for bad nails. I came in the next day and ask them to redo them. They told me only if I paid an additional $30. So their bad customer service and wanting more money cost them all my future business. Multiply that $120 x's 2 a month = $240. That just cost you over $10,000 for the next few years. Learn how to run a business! Just know they don't back up their product, they just nickel and dime you. Greedy! read more

Service was truly amazing! Both of my nail techs were wonderful, and even after I left and messed up my toenail in the parking lot, I walked back in and they were more than happy to help. If you're looking for a chill environment and friendly techs, this is definitely the place! read more

"Don't judge a place by their star rating" You have to come in and try it for yourself to justify the star rating. It doesn't matter if it was a food place, merchandise store or in this case a nail salon. My experience here at Aria is just plain awesome. I already have something on my mind of what color I wanted for my nails. I told Nina what it was and she showed me options that would look cute on my complexion. She showed me a much better shade than what I had in mind for my accent. Don or Dan gave me much needed pampering of this tired legs of mine. I always appreciate a great leg massage whenever I get a pedicure. Chloe was personable she made sure I was offered something to drink and thanked me for coming in. Chloe came back a couple more times to see if everything was going smoothly. My tired feet is feeling very pampered and relaxed, my hands are all girly again. I am happy with what I received and happier that I had the chance to come in while they still have the 20% off promotion on all services. Aria is always great for dip but Kristy really brought her A-game with this set. Every other time I've gotten dip with this salon it usually lasts 2-3 weeks with no chips or breaks. I have had a great relationship with one of their employees going on a year now, but 6 months ago I had an emergency and was attended by a different employee you absolutely botched the job. I gave the salon another chance because of the good experiences I have had with the one employee and went back for a manicure. As I walked in the door, a different female manicurist verbally abused me for coming back to ask them to fix my nails 6 months ago. I'm sorry but I just did not enjoy my experience here and cannot return or recommend. My toes were the biggest disappointment because the finish was very amateur and it lasted just a week. My nails were pretty but only the left hand was the length and shape that I requested. The right nails were much shorter with a slightly different shape. Additionally they had alcohol and after me asking for wine twice they said something about not being able to serve it due to SMU students. I told them I am 37 and not a student. I still never understood the reason. Even with the grand opening 30% discount I wouldn't return. I'm very surprised that this place doesn't have more reviews. This place is amazing and I've been back two days in a row. For a mani one day and pedi the next. I absolutely love my manicure. The colour is great and love how she was very thorough and inspected her work. Photos provided. Also I chose the Herbal Pedicure and it's incredibly relaxing. Prepare 70 minutes of your day to this Pedicure. It's absolutely relaxing and I enjoyed it. They honoured my coupon of 30% off both days and that made my day(s) :D very gorgeous atmosphere and not loud and crowded. I absolutely admire how gorgeous and elegant it looks. **NO STARS** This has been one of my 2 go to nail salons for more than 10 years, even before they were Aria but I will never go back again and will tell everyone I know to avoid this place.  I have never written a yelp review before but am just blown away with how this was handled until now that I see there are many bad reviews and complaints here. I have always had great experiences at this salon and when a nail would break from time to time had no problem getting it fixed. My Dip Powder manicures here are so good that they usually last 3-4 weeks. If a nail chipped and I knew it was my fault I always paid for the service and a tip rather than accepting their offer to fix for free. I had a Dip Powder mani there 9 days ago and could tell at the time it was thinner than normal. 2 days ago the first nail chipped and as of today 5 have chipped or broken. I stopped by the salon today and because I couldn't identify the person that did the manicure and because I paid cash and they couldn't trace my transaction the person helping me rudely said that I would be charged $5 per nail or $25, as though I was lying and just trying to get a free service. After I explained the situation again she very rudely told me that I would have to pay. I asked for a manager and was pretty shocked to find out she was the manager.  I asked for the owners name and number and she told me she couldn't give out that information (weird?) but after asking several times she gave me a business card with an "email address" which after looking at it later I discovered there was only a phone number to the salon and a web address. I was so astonished by the complete lack of customer service that I kept asking "is this really how you are going to treat a longtime customer?" Her answer was yes.  She clearly didn't care. I told her I wouldn't be able to use this salon any more and she said fine.  I called her when I got to the car when I realized there was not an email address on the card and she hung up on me. I never once raised my voice or acted angry, just clearly shocked, and this was the response. So, I won't be going back and unless you are ok giving your money to a business that treats customers this way you shouldn't either. This cost $65.............lol worst manicure I've ever gotten. When I asked her to fix a crooked nail she laughed at me and said it wasn't crooked. I can't believe they let me leave with them all crusty like this. They're all crooked, paint is bumpy, and thumb nails are like 10x smaller than the rest of my nails. I was sitting in the pedicure chair and once I put my hand underneath the UV light for the last time, the nail tech said "when the lights off you're done" and walked away, I guess expecting me to put the UV light somewhere myself. Maybe the poor service and price would be worth it if I left with a half decent manicure but I'm already booking my next appointment to get them fixed elsewhere. So so disappointing as I was referred here by a friend. read more

Sparkles and luxury are the first two words that come to mind when you visit Aria Mockingbird. Chandeliers and plush pedicure chairs with large TVs tuned into hgtv and peaceful music in the background. There is a broad array of colors including OPI and Essie of course. The staff here are welcoming and friendly. I came for a herbal pedicure and chose the eucalyptus scent for muscle relaxation. You get to pick your own scent so major plus. Annie was my nail tech and she was friendly and thorough which is a must for a pedicure. My herbal pedicure started off with limes in the water so the aroma was very pleasant. Then my legs were massaged with a herbal scrub to exfoliate my skin and then I was massages with eucalyptus oil. The aromatherapy aspect makes it even more relaxing. After taking care of the standard pedicure protocol like cuticles and nail clipping then came the hot stones. A hot stone massage with essential oils took it to the next level. Very relaxing experience and the paraffin wax is the icing on the cake. The wax is a pretty purple and is lavender scented. Very unique experience. Smooth skin, herbal relaxation and fresh ingredients for the win. Annie took her time and I felt like I was the only person getting a pedicure. No rush and great quality work. I've been going here for years! Iris in my girl and her husband, Steven gives me the best pedicures. Everyone in the salon is super nice and makes sure that they give you their undivided attention, unlike other places where they rush the job to get to the next customer. I highly recommend trying this place especially since they are 30 percent off right now. I'm definitely coming back! Only negative is how they took off my previous nails, the woman who started them didn't really speak to me and then just left my nails to soak for way too long. TLDR: They make great money from all the HP and SMU girls being a neighborhood spot so they're clean. But if you are looking for quality work, great colors/art, and honest prices find another spot. GONE TO CRAP after Covid. Honestly I have come here once a month since they've opened because of the easy location but I will not be continuing. When they first opened they had a GREAT staff, highly attentive manager, and all the colors they had in their books were in stock. Since re-opening post COVID I feel like the service has gone drastically down hill; to the point I lodged a complaint. Which truly and honestly sucks because I used to LOVE this place. Let me walk you through my last 4 visits: 1st - Gel mani and Pedi with my Mom to celebrate my bday. They didn't have the correct color for my mom (after choosing 4 colors they finally found one they still had in stock). They "accidentally" filed my long natural nails to short nubs then pushed me to buy acrylics to over correct (i declined). Toe nails were not cut down after requesting multiple times. Then when we went to check out they refused to take their POSTED coupon (still valid on their website) because "we had to tell them when we made the appointment". 2nd - White polish on my gel mani peeled right off on 2 fingers. Swung by 6 days later to get it fixed, was asked to wait 15, no problem. Tech didn't remove the remaining polish on those particular nails, just tried to paint over the whole thing. So of course came out lumpy and horrible. Wasn't going to complain (After asking her twice throughout the process if it was gonna smooth out). Went up to pay and the gentleman checking me out said no charge b/c they have a nail guarantee (AWESOME). Left with less then stellar results but at least i didn't have to pay. 3rd - After having issues with my gel mani last time I decided to switch back to dip. Got almost the exact same colors done, but they didn't have the blue listed in the book. Tech mixed a couple together and came out fine. Told them NOT to cute or file after pervious visit cost me my natural nails. After Dip was finished, tech took a file to "smooth it out" and diagonally filed my nails down. Honestly I was shocked it looked so crooked and he "couldn't see it". Both Techs who worked on me were watching a soccer game behind me the entire time. So frustrating and disheartening. Woman who checked me out added a bunch of "MISC fee" on checkout and claimed prices had increased. Fine I paid But the price she ended up charging me was different then both the printed menu and online. FINAL STRAW - After the dip my thumb tip broke off the next day (not my natural nail just the polish). I went in 3 DAYS in a row to try and squeeze in to get it fixed. Was told to come back later all three times. On the third day they specifically said 30 min, went to CVS next door picked up a prescription and came back... THEY HAD CLOSED 25 min early w/ lights off. FURIOUS had to go to a date with crappy nails. Next day came in right before Lunch (this is 6 days out from original appt.), they sat me immediately and the tech did a great job fixing the now 2 broken nails. I go to walk out after tipping her a quick $5, because remember they have a TWO WEEK GUARANTEE on dip. I was physically GRABBED and stopped and asked to pay? WHAT? young woman stated that the guarantee is only valid for 1 nail for 3 days... Discussed with her what happened and she started to raise her voice. Whatever honestly not worth the fight or the $10 but it was the last straw. Truly Truly Truly sucks b/c I used to love this place and the techs and their quick work. The shop is super clean and luxurious feeling. It was calm and quiet. I came in in the late afternoon on a Friday and was seated immediately with an excellent nail tech. The manicure stations had very comfortable and plush chairs and the pedicure stations had brand new massage chairs. The whole place was beautiful and clean. Annie was super sweet and easy and fun to talk to. She gave me a lot of helpful input on which shape I should get for my nails and helped me pick between colors which was nice because I'm not used to having my nails done professionally often. She was so gentle with my nails and consistently checked in with me if I flinched or anything to make sure she didn't hurt me at all. She added small tips to make sure they were all the same length since I don't like long nails and like a more natural length. I loved talking with her and she did a beautiful job on my nails and even helped me pick out a fun summer color for my next appointment. Annie is so sweet and when I come back I will definitely ask for her if I forget to make an appointment. She is worth the wait. read more

I'm very upset and disappointed in the non service I received today. I waited for 40 minutes to get a repair. They sat me in a chair and did not send anyone to assist me. When I asked after patiently waiting for 40 minutes the said because I did not know who had done my nails that it would be another 10 minutes - I'm sorry that is unacceptable. My Repair would have taken 5 minutes. I hate to say it but the quickly got to all of the Caucasian clientele that came through the door even those who came after me with no appointments. Iris normally does my nails but the last time a hit did them and both did a good job but today I did not appreciate the service I received - I've notices before but today was blatant and just rude. I usually go to another Nail Salon but it was closed yesterday and I came across Aria Nail salon so I decided to go. But I didn't realize they closed at 7:30 and I got there at 7:10, upon arrival I was greeted by two people. I was taken to my seat for my mani and pedi and the girl who did my pedi was the sweetest ever!! Her name is Penny definitely recommend her!! But the lady who did my mani was not pleasant at all, she was rushing me and making me feel unwelcome. Her name is Michelle, I do not recommend her at all!! In the process of getting my nails done I noticed one of my nails was shaped cricked and I asked if she could fix it, she told me "that's how your nail is, I can't fix how you nails grow" at that point I was highly flabbergasted at the treatment I was receiving from her. Today I realized that one hand was noticeably lighter than the other, and I called to see if I could get them fixed and they told me to go in so they can fix them. When I got there they were really nice and very welcoming, I was pleasantly impressed with how great my nails look now!! The lady who redid my nails is May she is very nice and very talented!! She redid my entire nail set and she did such a wonderful job!! Overall I would definitely recommend this nail salon, but I would not recommend going to Michelle. read more

I'm not sure this place even deserves a one star rating. First of all, I called to find out availability and was told to come on in. Once there, my feet were put in cold water, and I waited for 30 minutes before someone came. I was not asked if I wanted a drink while waiting... though others in the shop were offered something. In the middle of the pedicure, I was sent for my half leg wax. Did you know that half leg does not include the top of the foot nor the knee? I've never been anywhere who charged separately for these things. I was charged an extra $30 for those spots!?! They also use the stick and cloths over and over again. I left the room with my leg bleeding in one spot, and wax was on the bottom of my foot. Once I got back to the pedicure seat, my polish was gone and the person helping me had gone on to help someone else. Once someone else stepped in to help, she started to put on the polish without putting separators between my toes, which as obviously needed. I had to ask. The only reason to give 1 star is the gentleman who began my pedicure. He was cheery and attentive, and gave a good foot massage as part of the Deluxe Pedicure. Not enough though, to ever go back, nor recommend to anyone. read more

This nail bar is really nice but the prices and quality is not what I expected compared to my usual place in NY. I came down to visit my friend and she took me here to get my nails fixed and for pedicures. The pedicures were nice, they're very thorough and they're packages offer a good amount of things, prices were a little high for my taste but the pedicure was well worth it. My friend's manicure was really nice but my gel acrylics were a whole other story. First off, to get the gel color changed/redone cost $30 and they charged me an additional $7 for my almond shape that was already present. Getting gel color redone at my usual nail salon back home in NY is only $5 with no additional charges. I didn't get any designs either, just wanted to change the color. But I understand that it's two different states but if you think about it, these prices are well above average. I love the color but the process of it was more different than I'm used to, and the tools the nail technician was using on me were very unsanitary. But I digress. Second, my issue is that the acrylics started cracking a couple days after getting them done. My thumb chipped a day after which never happens to me when I get my nails done. I've never even had broken acrylics before. But the nail bar's techniques have made my acrylics begin to crack which is unusual for me. I will have to get my set redone entirely at the salon I normally go to instead of my intended fill session I wanted to do. I'm disappointed in the way my acrylics ended up. I've gone to Aria whenever I'm in town from NYC (my parents live around the corner) and have historically been fairly pleased with my experience. I rarely write Yelp reviews but felt compelled after my visit today -- as you can see this is just unacceptable. Quite frankly my nails don't look any better after leaving the salon. There's top coat/other product all over my fingers and underneath my nails. I paid extra for a cuticle trim (odd that isn't standard in their manicure package. It was just a polish change really, there was no lotion, scrub, etc.) and he spent no longer than 30 seconds all together. I also picked a pearly white as my dip color which somehow turned out like a sheer top coat after multiple coats, but that's the least of my concerns at this point. If I wasn't headed straight to an event I would have asked him to buff it out and pick another color. But alas. I'm sure there are worse salons out there but for a $47 polish change (before tip) I'm very unimpressed. read more

My nails look amazing. I'm super weary of going to new nail shops, but moving down here I've been very careful. Aria did an awesome job! My one complaint is that it felt very rushed. They just kind of threw my sandals on (and messing the polish up on one of my big toes in the process) and sent me on my way not even 10 minutes after painting my toes. Okay I NEVER EVER write bad reviews. I work in the service industry and no matter how bad the job is I always tip. This is my first time going to this nail salon because my normal salon didn't have any openings. I found this place on google maps on my way home from work. I went in to get an acrylic fill and they could not seem to get the white tip right so I told them nevermind to take the white gel tip off and keep the nail the base color. At the end of me being there she checked me out $60 for an acrylic fill with gel on top. I of course tipped 20% as I always do. So $72. She then told me that any time in the future they will refuse me service because I have been in multiple times and I have done this every time. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS MY FIRST TIME EVER COMING HERE. I was shocked. And she chose to tell me this after she paid me out and I tipped 20%. I was never rude to the technician. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they said they could do it (literally just a French tip!!) and it was the worst I had ever seen. Instead of being rude I chose to make it easy on the guy by just telling him nevermind. Also there is a black hair of some sort in my nail stuck under the top coat. And she refused to fix it. I'm not from the area, so I was apprehensive, but I had a great experience. I called on a Saturday night at 5:15pm, and made an appointment for 15 mins later. The receptionist/greeter was very welcoming and friendly. (I'm big on being greeted with a smile; which she did.) She got me checked-in quickly and into a chair. I got a Green Tea Deluxe Pedicure by a nail tech named Don. He was so amazing! (Do yourself a favor and book him for pedicures!) Thorough, friendly, attentive and accommodating. He checked on me through the service to make sure I was comfortable. (Is your water warm enough? Am I applying too much pressure? Can I get you something to drink? etc.) I started to fall asleep, and he gave me a pillow for my lap so I wouldn't drop my phone. Beautiful salon overall. Designed nicely, and clean.
