Update August 7 2020: Arhaus contacted me based off this post and asked for information and said they would get back with me. I did not hear from them for some time so I paid to have the couch repaired, ironically by the same person that came during the warranty process. I heard from Arhaus today, and this person was apologetic and asked for some pictures of the problem. I will respond and tell them the couch has been repaired. They were delayed due to short staffing caused by Covid, which is understandable. ORIGINAL POST We Are Very Disappointed with Arhaus quality and customer service. We are also Disappointed in the Taylor Sofa comfort and performance. We purchased a Taylor couch set with love seat, chair and three person/long couch. The retail prive was around $6,000. The couch bent in the middle and was closer to the floor than the ends. The wood could be seen pressing against the black cloth on the bottom. Essentially the couch was breaking in half. Note that the vertical cushions fall down when you lay down and its very annoying. For the quality problem, I contacted the store and was sent on a wild goose chase, passed back and forth between a scheduler company, the warranty company and the store. Numerous conversations. Numerous phone menu navigations. Finally the technician came examined the couch and said the front main beam was made of two pieces held together by staples. The staples were bent. He said he would take it apart, remove the staples and use screws to secure it better if was authorized to repair it. Why didn't Arhaus use screws in the first place? He said he would put in a report to Arhaus and they would contact me about next steps. Arhaus responded by email, unapologetic and stated the set was purchased as a floor model and it wasn't covered under warranty. If the sofa is not covered under warranty, why was I sent through the warranty system?  Why was I speaking to Warranty people?  Why was I speaking with schedulers?  Why did a technician visit?  As soon as I called the store they should have told me there was no coverage...I wasted ALLOT of time and energy managing this issue FOR Arhaus. The furniture is supposed to be a higher quality piece of furniture and did not make it past ~3 years of use.  It is amazing to me that any couch can bend in the middle....let alone one from Arhaus Furniture. And no apology initially (she apologized after I complained they didnt).  I would have hoped even for a canned apology statement in en effort to try and keep us as Arhaus customers, not to mention it's there right thing to do. Other companies have offered sincere apologies and turned a negative to a positive. At the moment it is all negative regarding this issue. In summary, based off this one experience: Poor customer service. Poor quality. Our last Arhaus purchase. read more

An expensive brand, but I was able to find a beautiful thick hardwood kitchen table with a high quality that's almost nonexistent elsewhere. The sales associate printed off detailed seating layouts of the different sizes available and answered all my questions when I was shopping. And she remembered me when I came back a month later to buy. read more

I have had an absolutely wonderful experience with Arhaus Furniture in Perrysburg, Ohio. Had to completely furnish a beachfront condo on Marco Island, Florida, from Perrysburg. The process is finished, and with the help of Jim Uncapher, from Arhaus, my condo is beautiful, and looks exactly the way I wanted it into look. Jim took the time to listen to me, understand my taste and budget, and took as much time as needed to make me satisfied. He showed me how to use use the fabrics I lived in ways that would not only wear well, but show off and blend colors and textures. Jim's communication was over and above, and I feel I have made a trusted friend l. His professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to my project, along with his warm and pleasant personality made what could have been a nightmare into a pleasant and very fulfilling experience, with an outcome that exceeded all my expectations! prior to involving customer service, we would have given 5 stars but once customer service is involved, it is a different story. We have purchased 7 different pieces of furniture - 3 couches (one of them a sectional) and 4 chairs, for various rooms. A small fortune, but we figured it would last a lifetime. One of the chairs with a slipcover has very thin fabric on the chair arm which actually wore through after 5 years. It is a chair that does not see daily use and our children are all adults now. It is only one side of the chair. Anticipating that they would say that they would not cover the fabric under warranty, we actually went to the store to inquire about just purchasing a new slip cover. We were told that a new slip cover would cost $1000 (the price of the entire chair was $1146.50 5 years ago and is $1250 now. This really ticked me off!! Why would a new slipcover cost $1000????? Customer service could care less that it was, in my opinion, defective. They are unwilling to inspect it, to see if if it is defective. This furniture is literally 3 times as expensive as other furniture. Just buy the cheaper stuff every 5-7 years - you would be better off. read more

Purchased 4 chairs as part of a dining set at a well above cost from this so-called high end furniture store. They advertised the upholstery on the chairs to be "leather" with a adjective "vita" which we uncovered to suggest that it is really NOT natural leather but some man-made end product using a combination of materials including low quality leather and other fabrics. The seating surfaces of all chairs got damaged and finally tore apart after normal residential use in a time frame of several years. Contacted the Arhaus and requested repair which would cost nearly $300 per chair. They reluctantly offered $100 per chair which I declined. This all happened through the Better Business Bureau which I believe really serves the interests of businesses and not the consumers. They appear to sell a product at a price point that implies furniture that would last a lifetime! Yet, in our case, it lasted 5% of a lifetime. I guess we were fooled! Arhaus desiger Max selected key pieces for my new home.I love the furniture and don't plan to shop anywhere else! Arhaus furniture is qualtiy furniture sold by knowledgeable representatives. The manager, Mary, goes above and beyond normal customer service to ensure a satisfied customer. The furniture was delivered by expert delivery persons. The delivery men made sure I knew how to open and close the sofa bed, inflate it, deflate it, put the bookcases in position where they did not cover an air vent and also paid attention to being able to access the light plug on the floor and light switch on the wall. They didn't leave until they were certain I was happy with the pieces and placement. read more

I have never written a review before but I feel it is necessary. I ordered furniture Jan. 16th from the Perrysburg store. We were told since the pieces weren't in stock it would take 4-6 weeks for it to arrive. When we paid for the furniture, we were then told it could take 6-8 weeks. We still went ahead and made the purchase and signed all the disclosures. We thought another two weeks would be ok. Eight weeks passed. No phone call. No furniture. So, I called the sales manager and she told me that the fabric we chose was out of stock and there was a delay. So, in the eight weeks since we paid for the furniture in full, nothing has been done for our pieces of furniture. We have been living in our house for over two months and have no living room furniture. When my husband called the corporate office, they told him that we signed a bunch of disclosures and it says there could be delays due to fabric or deliveries. They have had our $5500 for over two months now and aren't willing to refund so we can get furniture in our house. They aren't willing to do anything to make it right. They have said too bad. You signed disclosures. I have bought a lot of things and signed paperwork so I understand companies protecting themselves. This company does NOT value the customer though. In fact, now they are telling me the earliest our furniture could be delivered is April 2nd. They also said that date is unlikely. So at the earliest, if we are lucky, we will have furniture after 11 weeks. We have three small kids and are home a great deal. Please be aware of this company. They do not honor their verbal word. Be cautious of paperwork. We will not be buying here ever again. read more

Arhaus quality is poor. We bought a leather (Brentwood) sectional a few years ago from Arhaus and had problems with the dye job right away. When I called about the warranty, they said the dye was not under the warranty. The sofa is orange in wear areas and looks awful. Also, the clasps holding the sectional pieces together don't work at all! It comes apart all the time. We have had people fall through the crack. It was the worst purchase we have ever made and it is way over priced for the horrible quality! I will never purchase from Arhaus again! read more

I have shopped at Arhaus for many years always with a good experience, however I recently had an unbelievably amazing customer service experience and I felt the need to publicly review. I was shopping on line with Arhaus during a sale and there was a particular art print i wanted to purchase but had trouble placing it in my cart. I chatted with Anita in web sales support who also wasn't able to order but she suggested I call. I called and spoke with Anita in web sales who was kind enough to tell me which stores carried the print in my state, and she was also kind enough to extend the sale offer even though it had expired. Anita also provided excellent customer service. Unfortunately the store that did carry it was in Perrysburg, Ohio, quite a driving distance from me. I did contact the Perrysburg store and spoke with Ashley who did have the art piece i wanted and she agreed to also honor the sale and ship the item to me. However, since they don't normally ship items directly from their store and since this was a clearance item, it couldn't be ordered. Therefore, they did not have boxes appropriate for shipping this large item. Ashley, however, took it upon herself to personally shop around for a box, and during her non-working hours! I'm happy to say my print is being shipped today! Ashley definitely went above and beyond and provided extra-ordinary customer service, and always very pleasant when I spoke with her. Ashley is quite an asset to Arhaus and is the perfect example of exemplary customer service. I will be certain to place all my future Arhaus purchases through Ashley and the Perrysburg store. I have absolutely no affiliation with Arhaus aside from being a long-term customer! read more

I have ordered two pieces of furniture from Arhaus-10 years ago a Baldwin sofa and a Baldwin swivel chair. We all know Arhaus is NOT cheap. I have replaced the sofa cushions twice, the slipcover is worn through. I would give the cushions of the sofa about a 3 year life. That is not enough for a $2000 sofa in my opinion. My biggest complaint though is with actually receiving the merchandise in a timely manner. I have never NOT had an issue-there is ALWAYS an issue. The first time I ordered replacement cushions they sent the wrong sofa cushions twice. It took me SIX months to get the right ones and numerous calls to customer service. It took twice as long as they say to actually get the furniture. Now I have ordered replacement cushions again and I've been waiting 12 weeks-received one, but not the other two. I called twice-they told me both times they checked with factory and they were on the way. The last time I called back they said they would have to reorder them all again-another 6-10 weeks! I ordered them purposely way ahead of when I would be having events at my house-once again, Arhaus disappoints. I am still waiting for a slipcover I ordered 8 weeks ago. I don't get it-how hard can it be? I will never buy a thing from this company again until they can get their act together. read more

I have never posted a review because I usually think it is only by dissatisfied customers. However I feel compelled to write and warn people. I bought two couches and two over sized chairs for our family room. I took a long time to pick the material with the help of someone in the store. I chose a blue covering. In less than 6 months the couch faded so bad that Arhaus agreed to replace it...but they told me "I couldn't pick blue" because it will just fade again! I had blue furniture prior to this furniture for over 12 years and it never faded! My decorating did revolve around the blue ...so I switched to a cream color covering for the couches. I just had it cleaned at a cleaners (after 1year). I just figured the cream color will get dirty faster...but the cleaner explained that the furniture material was 'holding stain' from peoples clothing! That explained why it always appears dirty...I do not have any kids at home they are all grown and have been out of the house for years now. The couch always appears 'black'...it is from peoples clothing. Whatever material Arhaus uses it is 'cheap' but at a very expensive cost. I am so sorry I ever invested in the furniture ...I wish someone had told me how bad the material quality was. I have no complaints about the 'structure' of the furniture however the material is a significant part of the furniture ...I mean it looks horrible! read more
