I absolutely love this place. In the last year I have bought a couch, dresser, multiple wall hangings and decorations, a table, a wooden bar, artwork, and I'm headed over there today because I just saw something on their facebook page that is perfect for my sunroom. We have also bought smaller gifts and things for family. There is the main area and then the vendor booths with a variety of oddities. Most things are very reasonably priced and this is the first place I go when I need anything big for my house since I moved to Toledo a year ago. I think I should get frequent buyer points, laugh!! I love stopping by here. I may not always have a plan in mind for what I'm looking for, but that doesn't stop me from spending an hour or more just browsing and finding something I just have to have. Staff aren't always the friendliest but that can be chalked up to personal perception so I don't necessarily hold that against them. My friend and I stopped by yesterday to see what they had. I needed furniture for my new home and Consign It was recommended. We walked in and were welcomed by one of the associates. I appreciated that someone acknowledged we were there. No hovering but answered our questions and helped with putting the pieces together. Walked out with a brand new couch, love seat, chair, picture and lamp. Tony is awesome and everyone there is helpful. After having been a customer for several years, both buying and selling, I felt comfortable calling Tony to consign my daughter's old bedroom set. I called Thursday morning, August 29 and was greeted on the phone by the rudest, most dismissive person I have ever encountered from a retail establishment. If the voice on the phone is supposed to represent the face of the company, this man did nothing but make me want to run in the opposite direction. He was extremely disinterested, kept asking me to repeat what I was saying, then finally said "just what do you want?" When I asked to speak to Tony, he gave me his email address. Tony got back to me fairly promptly, but when I explained that I needed someone to pick-up the items (even though I would be charged extra for this service), it appeared as though that was going to be a huge inconvenience to them because he was very abrupt when this came up. In fact, the first time I inquired about a pick-up service, he didn't even answer my question. I was given the number to call and arrange the service myself, which I did. By the time he called me back, I had sold my daughter's furniture myself. read more

I went to this store for the first time on a Wednesday around 3 in search of a dresser for my baby's nursery. I found one that I really liked for a good price and intended to come back with my husband to purchase it when he got off work. Unfortunately, he didn't get there until 5:45 (they close at 6). The older woman working there was clearly upset when we walked in that it was so close to closing time. We explained we had been in earlier and already knew the dresser we wanted to look at so we would be fast! She gave a huge sigh and looked super annoyed saying "Yeah, I KNOW what dresser you are looking at". She proceeded to remind us at least twice that they were closing and kept asking if we were leaving yet. We finally just left without purchasing it because we didn't really feel like giving her our money at that point. Apparently closing 15 early is more important than a sale to them. We left feeling frustrated enough that we definitely won't be back. read more
