That's usually not a glowing endorsement of company culture. My mother hired this company to open our pool because we had used them before the ownership change and had always had a good experience. Unfortunately, this experience felt like a masterclass in how to lose long-time customers. Mariah initially quoted us one price, but after seeing the property apparently decided that quote was more of a "suggestion" than an actual number. We were told the price needed to increase because, and I quote, "How else am I supposed to pay my employees?" While payroll is certainly an important business expense, I'm fairly certain the accepted method is not surprising customers with inflated invoices after the fact. The billing somehow became even more impressive when we were charged for 2.5 hours of labor at $140 per hour instead of the $95 per hour we were originally told. The only problem? Her own employee confirmed the crew was at the house for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. Unless someone has recently invented time travel, the math isn't mathing. Not only were we billed far beyond what was discussed, but the crew also managed to break our pool pump and then attempted to blame us for it. Which raises an interesting question: If we knew how to operate the pump, troubleshoot pool equipment, and properly open a pool ourselves, why would we hire a pool company in the first place? The answer is simple--we wouldn't. We hired professionals specifically because we don't mess with equipment we aren't trained to handle (shocking right?). At the end of the day, mistakes happen. Equipment breaks. But changing prices, overbilling for time that wasn't worked, and refusing accountability when something goes wrong is a spectacular way to send loyal customers directly to your competitors. As a final suggestion, it may be worth hiring someone dedicated to invoicing and customer relations. Because if this experience is the standard, the only thing getting cleaned out this season will be the customer list, and Mariah if you're reading this and absolutely hate your job, have the other co-owner buy you out, and live your best life....far away from customer service because it is not your specialty. 10/10 do not recommend.

in 2023 Concrete alternatives resurfaced my patio with epoxy. In 2025 i contacted them about it…read morebubbling when the sun came out. Also had a spot that was taking off due to citronella oil. They came out and re-did the patio. It was dont very poorly the second time. - Areas not painted (raw concrete showing) - Bubbles all over - Tye Dye Effect -some areas have no clear at all I contacted the company, they came out and sanded it and put on a new clear coat -same bubbles , same tye dye effect and still showed raw concrete undermeath I contacted the company, they came out and sanded the "bad" areas and clear coated again - SAME ISSUES Too cold now at this point to redo it. so they just put clear on it one last time just to get by tile spring - now it is super slippery, some spots are done too heavy, some not at all. Company comes back and sands off 20% of the clear with promising to resurface it in the spring. Spring comes - New crew comes back to lightly sand more clear and apply new clear. I said to the crew- so youll see the tye dye effect, raw concrete and bubbles underneath? He said YES. I said well there is no sense in continuing BOSS calls and says he didnt remember the email that he sent stating he would redo it and he cant do ir right away because he has no supplies for it. __ Patio is disarray for 3 months last year, there is NO way i am letting them ruin my summer with a tore up area again. Or letting them on my property because i am positive that they are not capable of fixing it. There crews are terrible. I have a nice polywood patio table, they set their tools on top of it. Spit in my flower bed while talking to me, Bash talk their boss while at a customers home and ruined my edging for my support beams on porch. DO NOT use this company

He was called on the spot and said that he fixed them all last year. Fast forward to my review. now he wants to fix it. I was never happy with the patio (as he states) It bubbled from the start. Then the bubbles peeled. Cant give someone 4 chances to fix a patio. How long have you been in business?? Should have fixed it the second time. Should have fired the crew that spit all over my landscaping and ruined the edging to my support beams. Also states he "HAS ADHD - Hands in air" and cant remember what he was even there to do.

I posted on the PA loves Pool's Facebook group on Thursday night. He was at my house Friday morning. And had the pool liner installed by noon Saturday. Very honest and professional. Regarding the initial technician who is reviewed here. The initial estimate was May 11, and I was told it could be installed the first week in June. My pool liner was delivered to Kasper Pools May 15 or 16, and I picked it up a few days later. I hadn't heard anything since May 11, so I texted him on May 30 because I was supposed to be on his calendar for the first week in June. At that point, he began pushing everything back, and did not provide any date for install -- just kind of left it open ended. He also told me it couldn't be done unless I was home. (It actually turned out not to be true. Leo and his partner did it themselves.) almost a week later I hadn't heard anything, so I texted Tom a week before I went away (for work) hoping it could be done before I went away,and was ignored for over a week and until my 3rd text. I attached proof of that. My wife screamed after the final postponement because we were waiting almost 7 weeks and Tom cancelled bc of a 20% forecast of rain (that never happened.) The so-called harassment Tom describes, on my end, was a response to his very lengthy text, an hour after we thought we were moving on. This text was again full of excuses and selective memory and warranted a response. I also have proof of that. Tom claiming I only got the liner 3 weeks ago (which I have proof is wrong) is either a blatant lie, or, if Tom actually believes this, demonstrates a concerning inability to accurately recall prior communication (even though it was sparse). The 1st guy said he could possibly get to the installation in August. When Tom from PA Pool works called me back, we were scheduled to have an estimate at home @ the site of the pool & a few days later Tom came and we discussed our plans which is something I wasn't even offered w/the 1st installer I spoke with. Even though he & his crew were swamped, Tom assured us he felt comfortable providing us w/a mid-July install, weather pending. Tom & his crew were able to keep their time estimate and were here 2 weeks into the month. Not only were the installers able to stick to a date range, these guys worked through one of the hottest summers the Northeast has historically had on record and they were able to finish our job on the 3rd day in brutal heat. They arrive early, they are competent, experienced, fair priced & overall would definitely recommend.
