To say that this company is unreliable would be a huge understatement. I would say they border on the criminal, if you think taking full payment from someone and never delivering service is criminal.. I call that criminal. After extorting the cost from my husband they delivered a pool and stuck in on my property. It has been over 7 weeks and the pool is still not in the ground. All we receive from salesman is excuses, promises and lies. Wish I would have looked at the reviews here before buying. Absolute nightmare. Really should be no stars. I've been through the same thing as all of you but held Roger's feet to the fire. Fortunately, I had a lot of free time and was able to contact his subcontractors directly. That's the only way things could get done. There were several times I caught Roger in lies. The story(s) of Roger's lies are too many to list, but most border or cross legal lines. When I had had enough, I went to his shop and demanded my pool be dropped off and a refund be given for work not completed. He told me to contact his lawyer. I told him I didn't have to contact his lawyer, and that I had spoken to the Northampton County District Attorney's office. Apparently, they had a whole file against Roger (Hydro Dynamics Pools), and he had entered into an agreement with them to avoid prosecution. Once he heard this, things changed!! Not that it still wasn't an uphill battle but at least there was progress. Most of his subs complain about non-payment and or very delayed payment for services, and some I had to personally guarantee that I would pay them and seek restitution from Roger. Bottom line, things got done. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! Better to pay a little more with someone else than to go through the hardship and aggravation. Roger and company are FRAUDS! They took my 3K deposit in April 2020 and made many promises that we'd have a pool by August. They were completely unprofessional as soon as they had my deposit. They didn't return calls, cancelled several appts to come to my house and survey my yard. They were rude on the phone and I even got in my car and drove to their Penn Argyl location (from my house in Macungie) to pick up info so that I could complete the pool permit. This was after many calls and multiple promises that they had mailed me the permit info. By September 2020 I knew something wasn't right. I ran into some people who were also experiencing similar with Hydrodynamic Pools as well as a contractor who knew them and their scheme well. They gave me multiple examples of other customers losing their money and no pool. I then called Roger and I asked for my deposit back and suddenly (within an hour of my phone message) they called and claimed my pool kit was in. What a *coincidence*. According to Roger, all I had to do was put a check for 10 thousand dollars in a plain envelope and tape it to my front door and Roger would get it on his way to work the next morning. Then, they would schedule my dig and drop off the pool kit. Needless to say, I wasn't falling for that. I would really like to be a part of any class action/ litigation against this company. I don't expect to ever see my money back, it's more about principal and peace of mind. Roger is a thief and liar! We ordered over a year ago and have been hearing next week, next week for over 6 months now.

The worst pool company that there is. Nothing Dynamic about them at all. They are liars and are out to steal peoples money, and do not ever show up to do the work. Numerous calls a week with promises that they will come and all they do is give excuses as to why they can't show when supposedly we're on their schedule. Our pool was set to be done by summerit is now November and there is only dirt and the beginning stages of a pool which they'll never finish. Beware, do not do business with Hydro Dynamic pools. I had to give them one star but would rather give a minus 10. They are liars and Don has to be the rudest little man I ever had to deal with. I placed my order with Rodger in June for a spa with a down payment and was told it would be ready for delivery in August. After several calls and all kinds of excuses I finally got a call mid October to come in and pay the balance in full so they could deliver the spa. WHAT!!! I informed them to do the job then I would pay. It's now December and I haven't heard a word from Don or Rodger again. Such poor service. Dont buy a pool from hydro dynamic pools. Just wanted to put this out there. We ordered a pool from hydro dynamic pools at the end of may. We were told that the pool could possibly be here in 1 week for sure it 2 weeks here we are july 13 and still no pool. We would call them sometimes 3x weekly only for them to tell us we should have your pool on tues then on thursday. Never did they call us to keep us informed. Finally i called and very upset the guy don told me that i didnt understand the problem i assured him i did understand the delay with the pool however i didnt understand that they cant keep their customers informed and give a call. Then the topper....last tuesday we were told they were getting pools in and they could give us one of those ...even though it wasnt the pool origionally ordered it would be different hey said that we could get it by the end of the week. Well once again they didnt call and let us know what was going on...also the guy don told me that he could put my pool that i ordered on his show room floor and sell it for 2x what i paid and that they are the best pool sellers in pa and they have such a good reputation that they can get pools from all over the us...funny though if u look up reviews on them they r rated 2 star lol. So back to my story so last friday my husband called them again to find out a status on the pool..they said we will call you on monday......well here we are its monday and guess what no call. Needless to say we called again and this time cancelled our order. So beware if they suddenly have an extra pool u may get charged double what its worth stay away from this pool store. The worst part of this whole ordeal is that we had a pool an older one and all we needed was a liner and we could have used it but because they said we would have our pool in 2 weeks we tore it down and scrapped it. I am so grateful for Roger and Hydrodynamic pools. Covid played havoc with many industries and the pool industry was no exception. We started looking for assistance in February for our above ground pool that we knew needed to be repaired. We have a few people make promises and then at the last minute no show up. When we finally had one person show up we were told that our entire pool needed to be replaced. We have a large family with children who were devastated at the thought of having no place to swim this year. I tried desperately to find a pool, but again dealt with people who did not come through. I remembered Roger at Hydrodynamic pools and reached out. I had my new pool in 24 hours. I found someone to install it and in the end my kids had a great summer. They promise the world and delivered nothing but headaches. My inground pools is 3 inches off level. They took 4 weeks between the time they installed the frame till they poured the collar. Never checking to see if it was still level 4 weeks later. they said they would make up for this with discounted concrete. I paid full price for the concrete. They tried to sell me a slide at a discount that was 300 higher than the going price everywhere else. I paid for a T-9 salt generator he installed a T-3 which is too small for this size pool. Pool concrete was finished in Aug. and had cracks by April. The filter was installed down hill rom the pool. now if I try and clean the filter the pool empties into the yard. I was promised two valves to fix this and received nothing. I am currently looking for legal council to help with the current situation. Its a shame I gave this guy every chance in the world to make right on this project and all he's done is shown up for his checks. Its been almost two years of hell just trying to get hat I paid for. Now I will have to go for damages if he forces me to hire a lawyer. Stay away from this place I wouldn't buy 1 thing from him as if there is a chance for him to screw you he will. If anyone has sued this company please let me know because this is the road I am being forced to take by the owner. Buyer beware! Do not use this pool company at all. They are a scam. There are several customers that have been scammed that I have been in contact with. NBC 10 new is investigating this business . They win people over with cheap prices but never deliver. I signed a contract last year for a pool to be installed by the end of June this year and it still is not completed. I had to call every single day to get done what I actually have done at this point. He still hasn't completed my pool floor and liner. Not to mention the accessories in my contract. I haven't heard from him in months . Do not use any of their locations. It may be tempting because he Gives you an unrealistic timeline. He's also charging an absurd amount for a down payment. I cannot rate this company less than a one, otherwise I would. Terrible experience dealing with this store, with an absolute douche (Roger) at the forefront. Bought a pool, they put me down for financing. Called me the night before it was being delivered, and told me COD or check, otherwise it would be a month or so until it could come again. Dropped it off, Roger told me that was the hard part, the install should take a week or so. A month and a half passed, said oh we'd just have to find someone. Really?! After going through hell, pool falling down twice bc of inadequate personal installing (who swore they could) called Roger again asking for help. He gave me a guy Anthony's number, who said he's be free in November (this was June). I never wish harm to anyone or business, that is not the case with this operation. I cannot advise more, stay away. When things are great, fine...everyone gets an A+ and good reviews. I am not even really sure where to start with how horrible this experience has been. I see there are two other reviewer's below that had the same experience my husband and I had. They took our money in December 2018, promising to install the pool in early April 2019. We were very upfront at the pool needed to be installed by May 2019 at the very, very, very latest because we were having a graduation party for our nieces and nephews that included 100 guests and a year or preparation. We got the run around all of March, all of April and all of May. Finally, and ONLY because I literally called everyday and threatened litigation, they installed the pool the first week of June. They destroyed our ENTIRE backyard. They also destroyed our walkway and the pool was not finished anyway by the time of the party. Just as the other reviewer's mentioned we could not get delivery of anything on time ever!!!! Please I beg you to heed thymes warnings and go somewhere else. At the time of this review which is January 2020, I am still waiting for them to come and close the pool. I am also still waiting on the solar cover that was promised to be delivered the first week of July 2019. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE! OR GIVE THEM ANY MONEY!!! Paid for an inground pool package the summer of 2016. Parts and pieces missing when contractors went to install it. Liner was ordered wrong. Winter cover never ordered or delivered. Claimed it was damaged. Owner had nothing but excuses and offered no resolutions or refunds. We went to the Slatington store 1/23/17 and left a one hundred dollar deposit on an above ground pool and were told by the salesman Don that we could pay the balance when the pool came in in April. We got one phone call 2 days later from Don saying how thankful he was we ordered our pool from them and again telling us we could pay the balance when the pool came in. Well we never heard from them again so I called the first week of April and spoke again with Don who now stated You never paid the balance so that's why they didn't call. After having an exhausting long winded totally frustrating conversation I finally called the Pen Argyl store and spoke to the owner who assured me there was no problem and We could drop off a certified check or cash and the pool would be delivered on Wed. 4/12/17. We paid the balance in full via bank check on 4/6/17 in person at the Slatington store. Don gave me a receipt and again put it in writing the pool would be delivered on 4/12/17. We stayed home all day on 4/12/17 and around 3 pm my husband called the store and now was told it would be delivered Monday 4/17/17 with no explanation why no one had at the very least called us that morning to tell us there would be no delivery. No explanation as why the delivery was being rescheduled either. No customer service at all! So now today Monday 4/17/17 we again waited all morning and around noon I called the Pen Argyl store and spoke again to Don the salesman from the Slatington store and asked what time will they be delivering my pool and after waiting on hold he came back to the call to say it will be delivered Wed. 4/19/17. I asked why no one had bothered to call us and inform us of the new delivery date, and he just got nastier and nastier so I asked to speak to the owner so he put me on hold only to come back and say he is too busy to speak to me now but he would ask him to call me back. He just kept giving me the runaround and I asked for an estimated time which the owner would be calling and finally he said maybe 2pm but he may not call either. Again we were not even given the courtesy of a phone call to tell us our delivery was again, with no explanation of why, being rescheduled. I am still waiting for the owner to call but I feel so angry I had to write this and warn others to STAY AWAY from Hydro Dynamic Pools. They are not a reliable business and the Service is HORRIBLE! read more

Worst company ever. I don't even know how I should go about getting a refund. Contract says no refund on special orders This is a not special order!!! The pool they promised was not what was delivered but you don't know that until you start putting it together I called the company and they told me it was, I know that I'm not blind. Months later and I still do not have the right pieces to even open / start my pool. I paid Cash and the receipt is not what we were told what we should get. Roger and his staff Ronnie, took my CASH and basically told me I am screwed. After several phone calls fighting and fighting back and forth and the owner Rodger making me feel that I'm inadequate and stupid... we still do not have the right pieces and we have a cheaper low end pool that we did not agree with when we sign the contract.
